Chapter 17
Yugi awoke in bed and noticed a teary eyed Ryou on the edge of the bed

Huza I updated! I hope you like chapter 17 to “Father,
Mother, Lover!” ENJOY!!!
Yugi awoke in bed and noticed a teary eyed Ryou on the edge
of the bed slightly trembling and rocking himself.
“Ryou?” Yugi said trying to sit up but pain shot through his
lower back and the memories of the previous night came flooding into his mind.
“Don’t move! Lay down…onegai…” Ryou trailed off helping him
lay back down
“What’s wrong?” Yugi asked not understanding why Ryou was so
upset, he was the one that actually got hurt what was wrong with Ryou?
“I…Gomen Yugi this is all my fault!” Ryou said tears falling
from his face
“Iie Ryou, none of this is your fault. Don’t blame
yourself.” Yugi said touching Ryou’s face lightly and forcing a smile.
“I’m still sorry…he wasn’t supposed to use you, he had
originally come for me, I feel so horrible for what he did to you! You didn’t
deserve that.” Ryou said
“No I didn’t but neither do you Ryou. You act as if
everything bad around here happens because of you.” Yugi said a bit bewildered
“Most of the time it is…if we had never met you wouldn’t be
in this situation now and if I could turn the clock I would.” Ryou said moving
away from Yugi
“I could care less if I have to experience this day in and
day out, but when it starts to hurt the people I care about…its not worth it
anymore, me having to put up with all this just to watch them hurt you? Its
just not worth it!” Ryou said falling to his knees
Yaten walked in hearing Ryou yelling, “What the hell are you
yelling about?” Yaten spat angrily
Ryou looked at his father but simply looked away not
answering. Yaten obviously was irritated by Ryou's silence and grabbed Ryou’s
hair and pulling upon it painfully causing Ryou to yelp slightly in pain.
“You will answer me when I speak to you whore!” Yaten again
spat
“Would you prefer to stay home this weekend? I don’t care
how much he is paying for you I would love to teach you a new lesson!” Yaten
said tightening his grip on Ryou’s hair
“I-Iie…gomen shujin.” Ryou stammered slightly
“That’s better,” Yaten said turning his attention to Yugi “I
trust you are felling better?” He asked smugly obviously not really caring
“Hai.” Yugi simply answered
“Neither of you are getting out of going with him tonight so
don’t give me any excuses, do I make myself clear?” He said commandingly
“Hai…” Ryou said looking to the ground
“Hai.” Yugi said quickly and sighed deeply once Yaten left
“Ryou are you okay?” Yugi asked
Ryou nodded his head “Are you sure you can walk alright
though…if you cant father will keep you home.” Ryou said slightly distressed
“Show me how to hide the pain like you do.” Yugi said
sitting up painfully
“A-all right.” Ryou said going to his side.
“It’s arranged, they can stay at Marik’s until we figure out
how to keep them away from their parents.” Bakura said hanging up the phone
“Good, all I need to do is pick them up.” Yami said rubbing
the back of his neck nervously
“Yami…you haven’t been the same since you came back last
weekend, what really happened between you and them?” Bakura asked
“I only really got to talk to Ryou, and nothing happened why
do you keep on asking?” Yami asked a little irritated
“Because you are lying t.” B.” Bakura said simply giving him
a stern glare, which Yami refused to meet.
“Keep your secrets all you want just don’t screw up tonight
all right?” Bakura said a bit angrily.
“I won’t, you can count on that.” Yami said as the clock
struck nine “I’ll be back soon, make sure Marik is over here in an hour okay?”
Yami said putting on his duster jacket.
“He knows, once they get over here I’ll call him to make
sure he left.” Bakura said walking into the living room as Yami left through
the front door.
Ryou put on his clothes and helped Yugi into his own.
“I can’t believe he’s making us wear this…” Yugi trailed off
shaking his head at himself looking at his reflection blushing.
Ryou gave a small short laugh and Yugi’s eyes lit up
slightly “You…you just laughed.” Yugi said smiling
“You just smiled.” Ryou said tilting his head and returning
the gesture
The two sighed deeply as they finished getting dressed. Yugi
was dressed entirely in denim jeans and a sleeveless denim shirt that buttoned
up. Ryou wore black leather pants and a long sleeved, silk, white, dress shirt.
Ryou brushed himself off and helped Yugi stand.
“Try to look like it doesn’t hurt, and try not to use the
walls or anything for support it’ll just make you look like you’re trying to
hide something okay.” Ryou said
“Wakarimasu.” Yugi said nodding his head
They both heard Yaten yell from downstairs “Dorei!” He
screamed
“I’ll be back.” Ryou said going downstairs
“Good boy.” Yaten said circling him making sure he was
dressed appropriately “Yugi is dressed as well?” He asked brushing the hair out
of Ryou’s face
“Hai shujin.” Ryou said
His father knelt on one knee looking into Ryou’s eyes “Good,
he is waiting outside and if you or Yugi try to run away you will regret it for
as long as you live understand?” He said sternly
“Hai.” Ryou said quickly
Ryou winced when his father kissed him but managed to relax
before his father noticed the resistance.
“Go get Yugi and get into his car, understand?” He asked
Ryou nodded his head and ran upstairs to get Yugi.
“Don’t look enthusiastic all right, we are so close.” Ryou
said taking his hand
“I know…let’s go home now.” Yugi said with a slight smile as
they went outside hand in hand.
Yaten grabbed Ryou by the arm before he left and shoved a
tape in his hands. “Give that to him, you know what it is right?” Yaten asked
Ryou’s hands trembled slightly “H-hai” He said hanging his
head
“Go.” Yaten said closing the door behind the two
Once Yami was sure it was safe hergeerged from the car but
noticed Ryou was holding something.
“What is that?” He asked softly
Ryou merely shoved the tape in Yami’s hands and climbed in
the back seat buying his face in his knees. Yami looked at him a bit bewildered
but then realized what the tape must be of. He gripped it tightly and felt like
screaming but he didn’t as he opened the door for Yugi and he climbed in the
front seat as Yami went around. Yugi looked at Ryou curiously.
“Ryou? What’s on the tape?” Yugi asked concerned
“Nothing.” He answered softly
Yami got inside the car placing the tape on the floorboard
and driving away.
I know it was kind of short but hey it’s an update and yeah
they are going to Yami not some stranger or anything, finally things are
starting to look up for them! But the tape will probably end up causing
problems, hope you liked!
