Chapter 17: An Altered Past (Kaiba/Jou Yaoi)

Kaiba and Jou scream until they both pass out. Ryou and Malik run to Jou and look at him.

"He's deathly pale!" yells Ryou.

They try to wake him up, but it's no use...

Atem stares at Seth as his energy forms his image.

"Ki...Kisara..." says Atem. "Heh, she still can't defeat Mahado!"

"Attack!" they both yell.

Their two images collide in a strong, blinding light. Atem, Seth, Marik, and Akeifa are thrown back. The barrier
surrounding Kaiba shatters as he disappears. Jou, Ryou, and Malik disappear from the room also.

Jou opens his eys as the bright sunshine pierces through the room. He looks around to see he's in Kaiba's bed.

"Am I dead?" asks Jou.

The bathroom door opens and Kaiba walks out.

"Ohayo, koi." says Kaiba smiling. "It's about time you woke up."

"Ohayo, Seto" replies Jou hesitantly.

"What's wrong Katsuya?" asks Kaiba as he sits next to him on the bed.

"I...thought we were dead." replies Jou.

"Dead?! What gives you THAT idea koi?"

"Everyone knows about our secret...right?"

"No. they don't. Are you finally ready to come out. You know I'm ready whenever you are."

Jou gasps. "Everyone knows...remember when we went to Tokyo Bay Area Resort about 3 months ago?"

"e moe months ago?! Katsuya, that was just this past weekend."

Jou's eyes widen as he's in disbelief of what Kaiba's telling him.

"Are you ok koi?" asks Kaiba.

"Yea...I'm fine." replies Jou.

He gets up and uses the bathroom. He turns on the shower and gets in.

"Mind if I join you koi?" asks Kaiba.

"Come on." says Jou as Kaiba is already in.

"My shower. I would have gotten in anyways." teases Kaiba as he embraces Jou.

'I'm lost here... Am I dead and this is my vision of eternity? Perfectly happy with Seto?'

"Koi, what troubles you?" asks Kaiba as he takes a hold of Jou and stokes him. "You're usually not this tense in the
morning."

'If this is eternity, then let me spend it happily.'

Jou turns around and kisses Kaiba. He takes a hold of his shaft and strokes it in time with his love's. They stroke
each other until they release their pre-cum.

"Wanna taste?" asks Jou.

Kaiba smiles lustfully and attacks Jou's digits, giving each one their own special treatment. Jou returns the favor to
his lover.

Jou reaches his hand behind Kaiba and fingers his entrance. Kaiba moans and follows suit behind Jou. They grab
each other once more and strokes and please each other like they had never done before. aibaaiba kissed Jou hard as he could feel himself come closer to spill. They released nearly at the same time.

They collapsed on each other for a while, then finished their shower. They heped each other dry off then put thier
clothes on.

Jou laid on the bed.

"So what are we doing today?" asks Jou.

"I'm going to work for a while. You promised Yugi that you would keep him company at the shop." replies Kaiba as he
grabs his briefcase.
at aat about Mokuba?"

"You know hHe'sHe's going to invite some friends over and they're going to be locked in the game room. It's sam same
every Saturday, koi."

Jou smiles. "It seems like an eternity sine we last had a peaceful, normal day like this Seto. Especially since those
guys tried to kill you."

"Huh?! Kill me?? What are you talking about?"

"Iya! Nothing! Never mind me!" says Jou nervously.

"Ok...so are you walking or riding?" asks Kaiba.

"Walking." replies Jou as he puts his shoes on.

"Ok then, I'll see you later." Kaiba says giving Jou a kiss and leaving.

Jou leaves the house and heads towards Yugi's.

'Was all that really my imagination running wildly...no, it can't be. I know it was more than just that.'

He reaches Yugi's and goes into the shop. Yugi is stocking the newest booster packs and games.

"Ohayo Yugi!" says Jou.

"Ohayo Jounouchi-kun!" says Yugi as he steps off the ladder. "I'm glad you're here! Now you can help me with the
top shelf."

Jou puts the games on the top shelf then helps Yugi finish opening.

"What's wrong? You're unusally quiet this morning." says Yugi.

"If I told you something personal...then would you think differently of me?" asks Jou.

Yugi looks at his best friend congfusingly.

"No. Never. You'll still be my best friend, no matter what." repleis Yugi as he gives Jou a comforting smile.

"Well...Umm..I.."

'ding ding'

"Ohayo Yugi, Jou!" says Honda.

"Hey guys." repleis Jou.

"Ohayo Honda, Otogi, Ryou." replies Yugi.

"Is the magazine in?" asks Otogi.

"Yea. Here it is." Yugi says picking up a magazine from behind the counter and laying it out.

'Deja vu?'

Everyone gathers aound the magazine and looks at it.

"These new Spell cards are awesome!" comments Ryou.

"Here's the latest ranking of the Spell cards." Yugi says turning the page. "Hey guys, what about this one?"

Yugi points to the Spell card, Enemy Controller.

"t tht that the card Kaiba used during his duel with Jou?" asks Honda.

"Yea, it was. But remember I used it on him!" brags Jou.

'ding ding'

"Ohayo. Welcome to Kame Game Shop." says Yugi.

He looks to see Kaiba walking towards him.

"Here's the card you ordered Kaiba-kun." Yugi says handing him a case with a Parallel Rare card in it.

"Thanks." Kaiba says taking the card and leaving.

As he walks towards the door, he intentionally walks past Jou and brushes his hand across his ass. Jou grabs
his hand.

"Do that again (whispers) later (regular voice) and you'll pay! So watch where you're going!" yells Jou.

"Shut up mutt." Kaiba says smiling and walking out the door.

"Give it a reast already Jou! I'm since and tried of the two of you fighting!" Honda says to him.

"It's ok. I can handle myself against him much better than you may think!" Jou says as he licks his finger. (AN: Jou
has his back to everyone, so they didn't see it. Or Jou's lustful features.)

Later that night Kaiba and Jou and laying in bed.

"Katsuya? Are you sure you're ok? You've been acting funny all day." comments Kaiba.

"Yea, I'm great. Been caught up in the daze of how much we love each other." replies Jou.

"Aishiteru'yo, Katsuya." says Kaiba.

"Aishiteru'yo, Seto." replies Jou.

"Oyasuminasai." saaibaaiba as he snuggles close to Jou and quickly falls asleep.

'Is this my eternity or not?'

"Katsyua-san? Can you still hear me?"

"Yea... Huh?! You don't supposed to appear until much later." says Jou.

He laughs. "Yes, I know."

"Seth, I'm confused. Have I died and this is my eternity? I don't care if it is. You of all people should know that my
heart is with Seto."

Seth nods and smiles. "You didn't die. This is reality."

"But...everything is happening once again. I don't want to go through that again!"

"Don't worry about it. After the battle with Atem, I returned him and Akeifa to the world of the dead where their
soul shall remain sealed for all eternity. I placed a sacred code on the seals which only I am able to break. Since
Seto-kun and your life was so messed up, I rewound time and put everyone back to a week after Tokyo Bay Area
Resort."

"So no one else remembers what happened. So why am I the only one who remembers anything?! Why couldn't my
memories have been erased also?!"

"You Ka protects your room of memories. He will not let me or my powers pass through."

"I'm forever stuck with these horrible pictures of the future."

"Unfortunately. But that future shall never come to pass. Now you and Seto-kun can live your lives the way it was
meant to be. Arigatou, Katsuya-kun."

"Seth...Seth?" calls Jou, but he gets no answer.

'Guess he's gone now.'

"I love you Seto. Good night." says Jou as he tucks himself under the covers.
