Welcome readers to another fun filled chapter of 'Independence'. Yesterday we celebrated
Jou and Kaiba's 1 year anniversary! Today, Kaiba goes to work, Jou goes to work, and I
continue writing!
Chapter 16: Just Another Day...
February 15.
"Wake up sleepy."
I open my eyes to see the love of my life looking at me.
"Ohayo, Seto." I say sitting up.
"You don't have to worry about any clothes. It's just the two of us here." he says smiling.
I smile back as we kiss before Seto and I shower and put our clothes on.
"Hey, Katsuya?" asks Seto.
"Yes?"
"What did you mean by that statement you said last night? Is there something about you that
I don't know?"
What is he talking about?
"What do you mean Seto?"
"The one saying that it was your first time. I didn't get it. I guess because I was still dazed from
the amazing enounter..."
I laugh.
"I have the key to cracking the Great Seto Kaiba. Go me!" I say as I pump my fist in the air.
"I have a key too."
"I know."
"Ok Katsuya, answer my question."
"Take it word for word." I answer.
"Word...for word...? Do you mean that...was actually your first time? No. It wasn't, because
all those other times we'd done it. So, how was that your first time? Am I missing something?"
A giant puzzle piece.
"I had never fucked anyone before you."
"Nani?! Are you serious?! That was actually your first time?!"
I nod.
"But what about Atemu? And all those other guys you used to fool around with?!"
Surprised??
"I had always been giving head to Atemu, and letting him fuck me. Same goes for those others
I told you about."
"Apparently, you learned extremely well."
"I know what I want and I know how to give it to who I want."
"I bet Atemu's somewhere beating his head against a wall trying to figure out how to get back
what he lost."
He hit that nail dead on.
"But, Katsuya, if you've never done anyone before... How...I mean I sound so stupid right
now. Look, though, I mean..."
It's funny watching Seto stumble over his words. Not able to complete a thought.
"Watching. Knowing what pleases me. Coming up with my own style. Applying it all to
you."
"You learn well." he says before we kiss.

March 17. St. Patrick's Day... I've seen so much green, until I'm literally sick to my stomach.
And I'm wearing a green t-shirt.
Go firgure.
I have to work today, unfortunately. Seto has to work too, unfortunately. He said he has a
business meeting in Kyoto, so he's literally on the other side of the country which borders the
Pacific Ocean.
He said he'll be back around 1am or so. I'll be up. Probably just walking in the door from
work. I don't get off until midnight.
I'm so glad it's 11:59.
"We're closed!" Ikuko tells me.
Well, make that midnight.
I clean up and hurry home.
12:48.
"Jou? Is that you?" a sleepy okaa-san says as she walks into the living room.
"Yea. It's me." I say placing my keys on the key ring.
"Kaiba called you. He said that he won't be home until morning and call him." she says
before turning around and muttering something else.
I rush to my room and call Seto.
"Moshi moshi." he answers.
"Hey Seto. How are you?"
"Ok. Did you work too hard Katsuya?"
"No, I didn't. Well, tried not to."
"But you did anyways. Now, you can't come and clock in with me."
"I'm never too tired to clock in with you Seto."
He laughs.
"So, what's the business of the trip you're on?" I ask.
"Uhh...umm...trying to gain partnership with another company." he replies really fast.
Is he lying to me?
"How are the negotiations?"
"Going. Finished."
"Did you gain another business partner?"
"Yea. We did. I'm glad it's over. We were in the meeting for almost 9 hours."
"Nine?! Wow. Which company was that with?! It must be a large company like KaibaCorp."
"It's a company that's based in America... You've probably never heard of it."
"Ohh. Ok. I'm glad everything went well."
"Thanks. Look, I have to go now." he says somewhat sadly... I wonder what's wrong? He
probably misses me.
'This isn't what I asked for!'
Who is that?!?!
"I love you Katsuya. Good night."
"Wait!" I yell. "Who is that?"
"Just one of my employees. He's been playing jokes on everyone all night."
'Seto! You give me what I paid for or I'll make that phone call.'
"What is he talking about Seto? Why is he calling you by your name?"
"Katsuya, I really have to go now. I will call you as soon as I reach Domino City."
Nerves... No?
"I love you Seto. Good night."
I hang up the phone...wandering about what really just happened.
