Chapter 16: Looking in Doors

Seto stepped into the door and saw nothing but darkness. Seto felt around a for a light switch. Once he found one he flipped it on and waited for his eyes to settle to the light. Once his eyes adjusted to the light he looked around the room.
Phantom: O_O state the frickin’ obvious, why don’t you? -.-
Kaiba: I could have done that in two sentences flat.
Jou: Let’s see a demonstration then, rich boy.
Kaiba: *clears throat* “Seto stepped through the door, seeing nothing but darkness before him. He felt around for the light switch and flipped it on, was momentarily blinded by the light, and began to have a look around.”
*crickets chirp*
Chicken: *once again squishes the cricket, but this time eats it*
Lori: O___o ew...
It was pretty much empty except for the fact that it had a bookself with a few worn down books, a computer that was way out of date and collecting dust, a table and a fridge that he didn't even try and open for fear of dying from the smell of it.
Phantom: How exactly do books “wear down”? O_o
Malik: They don’t… as far as I’m aware. And it’s “bookshelf”.
He walked to the bookself and pulled a red and black book with faded silver lettering. He read the cover. It said 'Dark Arts for Beginners'. He pulled another book out and it read 'Dark Spells and How to Control your Enemy's'. He opened the book with mild intrest. The words were too faded to read and he didn't want to waste his time tyring.
He left the room and went to the next door a good twenty long strides away.
Ryou: o_O that first sentence doesn’t make sense…
Phantom: She’s mastered the “let’s leave out a whole shit load of detail to confuse the readers” method.
Jounouchi: *sigh* If only she had added something like the word “out” after “pulled”. And for the record, it’s “bookshelf”, with an ‘h’, dumb bitch.
Lori: Wheeee! Jou Jou! ^____^ *glomps and molests*
Isis: There was almost no point in this whole paragraph… because nothing of interest occurred at all!
Phantom: Not to mention the errors “intrest” that should be “interest” and “tyring” that should be “trying”. Jou already pointed out the other.
Jou: O_____O *runs from crazy authoresses*
Meanwhile...
Subaru also entered a room that was pitch black. She felt around for the light switch and flicked it on. The room was pretty big and looked like it was once a labratory. It had test tubes and viles of foul smelling liquid that she didn't want to know what it was. Sighing she looked around for clues. Nothing. She left for another room.
Malik: “laboratory” and “vials” would sound MUUUUCH better.
The next room she checked was pretty big and the light was pretty dim so she would have to make a quick search for clues which wasn't going to be easy. Lucky she found a few candles in this room and she lit them using matches she found on the table in the middle of the room. She was not one for candles, but she needed to find some sort of clue to where Sakura, Kari, or Yugi might be. If they found one of them at least that would be a start.
Phantom: Ugh… lameness… you don’t repeat the same word in one sentence if you can help it.
Mai: And how can someone be “not one for candles”?! Unless you have a phobia of them… which would be weird…
Ryou: I like candles ^_^
Lori: Me too. ^.^
Honda: They stink. -___-
Phantom: They’re romantic!! *at random glomps Kaiba*

"I hate looking. Searching! But I must do what must be done!" Subaru said and sighed leaving the room having found no clues to where her lost friends could be.
Lori: *bitch slaps Subaru* Shut the fuck up, car chick!
Meanwhile...
Seto was now in his third room. The room itself was rather tiny and pretty cramped. It had two dressers, one book case, a bed made for one, a cabnet, and a bed side table, so you can imagine how hard it was to walk inside that room. Much less sleep and eat in it.
Seto pulled open draws, cabnet doors, opened books, nothing. He left that room and went onto the next one in hopes of finding some clue to where Kari, or Sakura could be. He could of cared less about Yugi.
Yuugi: “Could HAVE cared less”… and why does nobody ever care about me? T_T
Phantom: Cause you’re a weird looking runt who isn’t nearly as sexy as the others.
Yuugi: i_i
Yami: Could you have put it more bluntly?
Phantom: Well…
Yami: *resists urge to Mind-Crush* Just leave my hikari alone!
Lori: *huggles poor Yuugi* I think he's cuuuute…^__^

"Hmm...locked." Seto was at the next door. 'I'll have to wait for Subaru I guess. Until than...' Seto pulled out his lap top and emailed Angel back.

Rishid: *jumps out from behind a curtain dressed in drag* WE ARE SECRET LOVERS!!

"Well, you had all the small rooms! This door locked?"
"Well...I wouldn't be standing here if it wern't would I? How dense can you be?" Seto smirked again and moved out of the way.

The arrow hit it's mark dead on and the lock exploded.
"Only one room after this. I have a feeling Sakura might be in that room," Subaru went in the room and turned on the light. What Seto and Subaru didn't know, was that the back wall could turn around. Kari and Yugi were on that side of the wall.
Meanwhile...
"Yugi do you...think we'll ever...get out of here?" Kari asked struggling in the chains.
"I hope...so!" Yugi pulled hard on the chains. "I wish I could use my shadow powers to break the chains but I don't have the puzzle!"
"How much have your shadow powers elevated?" Kari asked still trying to get out of the chains. "No use! They're stuck on tight!"
"Someone has to find us. Man...I'm bored. We have to get out and find Sakura. I hope he doesn't do anything bad to her," Yugi sighed.
Sakura: I'll leave this chapter at that.
