The Nightmare!

Welcome to the 16th Chapter! Thanks to all who are reading and reviewing! I just
can't say it enough. This time, we will get a POV from the Shadow Realm. It's time
for Chapter 16 and a feature POV of Bakura.

Chapter 16: Secret Plans
(Ryou and Kura's Home) *Ryou's POV*

Malik's been taking this kind of hard. Even though he doesn't know what is
going on and to tell you the truth, neither do I. I'm really just going by what
Yugi and Yami are saying. Look at them, they're sitting next to each other, and
acting as if they're talking to each other, but they're not talking... Maybe it'sme kme kind of psychhinghingy they do.

"Ryou? Hello, you there?" I hear Yugi say to me.

"Oh, yea. I'm here. Was just wandering about this Kura you talk about."

"He's your dark side." Yugi says. "You, Malik, and I are what you call 'hikari'
or light. Bakura, Yami, and Marik are called 'yami' or dark."

"So, Yami is dark? As in an evil dark?" I ask.

Yami gives me this weird, lustful look and says. "No. Not evil. We're formed
from the dark parts of your heart. It is up to us whether or not to be good
or evil. I am a good darkness and so are Marik and Bakura, now. But they didn't
used to be good. Bakura longed for the 7 Sen'nin Items to gain all power and
rule the world. Marik wanted the 3 Kami Cards and the Puzzle to gain the
Pharoah's power."

"Ok...if they were once evil like you say, what drove them to be good?"

"You did. The hikari. You saw something in your other selves that others
couldn't and you accepted them. Eventually, they grew out of their evil deeds
of lust and power. About as bad as they get now is spikingch."ch." Yami
explains to me, having a laugh at the end.

"So, where is Bakura now?" I ask, hoping they had located him.

"We don't know. I haven't quite mastered the skills of the Tauk, therefore
I'm not able to use its full power." Yami says looking at the thing.

(Shadow Realm) *Kura's POV*

I hate this. It's hell! I really dislike being trapped in my own damn Ring! Just
wait until I can get free from this.. Dream Clown, I'm going to get you first,
and then that bitch, Anzu! She'll pay double, especially what she tried to do
during the cruise!

'LET ME OUT OF HERE!' I yell, hoping to get someone's attention.

''Ahh, Kura. You have no greater chance of escaping from here than I do.'' says
Marik.

'Just shut your trap. You're not doing anything to make this situation better
Marik!'

"No, you shut your trap before I seal you off for eternity." I hear someone sao meo me.

Damn, it's the bitch.

"Kura, Kura, Kura." She says, knowing that she's not allowed to call me that!

'Don't you dare call me that. To you I am known as BAkura.'

"Ok Kura. Let's make a deal."

'I'd rather be trapped here for eternity.'

"Hear me out thief! I will let you go."

Hmm. Let me go? Sounds wonderful...but there has to be a catch coming from her.

'What's the catch?'

"No catch. Just convince Yami to...sleep."

'Ha!'

"Just imagine, you could be back with Ryou, living happily, not having to
worry about Yami getting in the way of whatever you desire to do."

''Don't listen to her Kura! Knowing that backstabber, she'll get what she
want, and you'll still be trapped here!''

I look over towards Marik's voice. He may be right...but hmmm, I'll get
back to the living world with Ryou. And not having to worry about that
damned Pharoah. But...it won't be the same without him...Marik and I need
someone to torment.

'Hell no bitch!'

I feel myself being lifted and once again flung aross the darkness. I'm used
to it. Me and my smart ass comments are often rewarded with being flung or
kicked across the Realm.

'When I escape from here...I will personally see to your demise!'

"Oh, I don't have to worry about that robber! Because from the looks of it,
you will be trapped here a very long time!"

I see Anzu walk away to talk to Dream Clown.

''Kura? Are you ok?'' Marik asks me.

'Yea, I am.'

''I think I may have a plan...''

'What is it?'

''If they can manipulate dreams, then why can't we? Especially now that we're
in the Shadows, the source of our ultimate power. We should be able to do it
with no problem.''

'Hmm...we could do it, but remember what the bitch said, we're poweless.'

''No matter how hard one tries, the 'chosen' ones from the Shadow Games
will never be stripped completely of their power.''

'Really? Is that true? And where did you learn of this?'

''Don't forget Kura, my hikari is a Tomb Keeper and was raised in Darkness.
While reading ancient text, he learned of the powers of a yami. He never
thought too much of it, because I didn't exist at the time.''

'Well, so do you want to give it a try?' I ask hoping that something will
work.

''The trick is...''

'Trick?! There's a catch to this Ri?!' Damn, I should have known.

''The ritual. All words that are spoken during this ritual are not known to me
at the present time. ''

'Well, how of of it do you know?' Come on Marik, I'm depending on you!

''I'd say about 50%."

'Damn. And how do we go about finding the other 50%?'

''For each dream manipulation, the ritual has to be done. So the next time
they manipulate, we listen in and memorize the technique and words.''

'Well then, what are we going to do after we've gained entrance to the world
of dreams?'

''I guess start yelling about our capture and for them to help us. I don't
know. Something is better than nothing!''

'You have a point there.'

We sit back and listen to Anzu and Dream Clown as much as possible...but no
luck at this time. They're just schemeing on how to get the Pharoah to sleep.

(Ryou and Kura's Home) *Ryou's POV*

I don't know why, but sometimes I hear these voices in my head. Have I lost
my mind? The voices sound familiar...and I feel as if I have a very special
connection with one of the voices. Hell, I don't know, maybe I'm just going
insaine. Yami and Yugi have gone home already. So, once again it's just
Malik and me.

"Doesn't Yami give you the most lustful looks! I think he wants you." Malik
says teasingly.

"Unfortunately, I think so too. But something isn't right about that. Just
like it was yesterday when they came to search for clues. Remember what we
started on? It just wasn't right to me. I couldn't feel anythng. I feel as
if my heart truly belongs to someone else."

"For some weird reason or another, I feel the same way too." Malik admits to
me. "Ryou?"

"Yea Malik?'

"Do you hear voices in your head sometime?"

Yes and I see dead people too! LOL I'm just kidding. I hope you like this
chapter. You know what? I shouldn't be saying this, but for some weird reason
or another, I finished 17 before I did this one....Oh well, who really cares
