Ritual - Mokuba & Seto
Seto's thrashing is what awakens me. I'm not sure if he's asleep, but he's crying, trapped in a dream or a flashback.
"No... please...!"
I pull him into my arms, holding his trembling arms still, not letting him strike out at the spectre in his imagination. His sobs grow louder and struggles to get away from me, but I hold him firmly, running my fingers through his silky hair as I've done for nearly ten years since the bastard died.
"Sh... Seto, it's all right. It's me."
He quiets and falls peacefully limp against me. "Mokuba..." he murmurs.
