Chapter 15: Dangerous Actions
Ryou laid on the loor completely dazed from what he'd experienced. Malik is still is awe of what he'd just
witnessed...
"Ryou?!" yells Malik as he finally comes to reality.
He stoops next to Ryou.
"Are ok ok Ryou?" asks Malik as he helps him to the sofa.
"Yea..." startles Ryou. "I'm great..."
Ryou looks at Malik with a lustful grin on his face. Malik punches Ryou.
"What the hell was that for Malik?!" yells Ryou as he rubs his face.
"Now that's the Ryou I know." replies Malik.
Ryou laid back on the sofa and Malik sat next to him.
"Tell me...that didn't just happen." says Ryou as he buries his face in his hands. "I can't believe that I enjoyed it
from the bastard. I'm sorry, I should speak badly of your brother."
"Don't apologize. Marik is a bastard."
"We have to tell Kaiba."
"No! We can't say anything to Kaiba or Jou!"
"Why not Malik?! If Kaiba's body houses the only person who can stop them..."
"No Ryou! Just listen to me!" yells Malik as tears begin to flow from his eyes. "Marik is true to his word. If we
tell, then he will kill us. Do you remember what I told you about how my parents died?!"
"Automobile accident right?"
"Iya. Marik killed them."
"He wouldn't...."
"He did! Mother and father didn't allow Marik to do as he please...to do the forbidden black magic. The same
magic that resurrected Atem and Akeifa. He killed them! Marik is a murderer! He will not hesitate to destroy anything
that stands in his way. Not me, not nee-san, not you, not Jou, and definately not Kaiba! Do you understand Ryou?! If
we even think too much about telling, then we will die. Just as mother and father did!"
"Ma...lik..."
(Hospital)
Kaiba as been recovering nicely and is now in a regular room.
"I'm ready to get the hell out of here." Kaiba says to Jou.
"I am too, but you can't go over the doctor's orders." replies Jou.
"Yea, yea, I know. It's just that I want to be in my own bed now. Asleep with you."
Jou smiles and pats Kaiba's head. Kaiba's eyes close as he falls asleep. Jou sits in a chair and looks at a spots
magazine.
"Arigatou, Katsuya-san."
Jou looks around to see no one else in the room. He then soon realizes who's speaking to him.
"Seth..."
"If you didn't bring him to the medics, then he would have died."
"No problem. But you have to tell me what's going on. Why are you inside Seto?"
Seth sighs. "I wasn't always a Pharaoh. I was originally a high Priest in Pharaoh...no Prince Atem's kingdom. The
two of us along wti Shada, Karim, Isis, Yugi, Honda, Seto, and yourself but an end to Akeifa and Zorc."
"Huh?!"
"Gomen. I forgot that your memories of this incident were erased."
"Erased?! So I have memories that I can't even remember?"
Seth nods. "After Atem's sudden disappearance, a note along with the Puzzle appeared. The note was in Pharaoh's
handwriting and it gave his official word that I was Pharaoh. After that day, over 3000 years ago, no one even
seen or heard from Atem. So everyone assumed he was dead."
"Was he?"
"We don't know. as it relates to today, I suspect Akeifa's influence must have affected Atem somehow. Sicne I am
the only one who can return them to the world of the dead, they desire to kill me...or rather Seto-kun in order to
seal my spirit forever."
"What will happen if you die?" asks Jou.
"The same darkness that nearly killed everyone will return to kill this world. Only this time, it will succeed."
'knock knock'
"Come in." replies Jou.
The door opens to re a s a slightly bruised Ryou and a shaking Malik.
"What's wrong?" asks Jou. "What happened to the two of you?"
"We know who's trying to kill Kaiba." replies Malik.
"Who is it?! Where is he?!" yells Jou.
"It's...my...my brother." whispers Malik.
"Brother?! What brother?! I thought you were an only child Malik!"
"Iya. I'm a twin actually. My brother is a master of dark magic. He has resurrected Atem and Akeifa."
Jou gasps. 'That was the same thing Seth was just speaking of!'
"It's dangerous fo us to be telling you this. Marik came by this morning and sent a message through Ryou."
"We may die today Jou." says Ryou.
"Pharaoh Seth." begins Malik as he begins to speak in an ancient dialect.
Kaiba's body glows and something seperates from it.
"Hai. I have heard everything that was said Malik-kun." replies Seth as he places a hand on Ryou and heals his
body.
"You know what, we heard everything too." an omnious voice calls in the room.
"Akeifa!" yells Seth as he stares at a wall.
"Pharaoh Seth. We meet once again. Oh and to Ryou and Malik, we never go back on our promises." adds another
voice.
"Atem!"
"That's why you all must die!" shouts a third voice.
"Marik..." says Ryou.
Three men appear in the room. Two are dressed in Domino High School unifoms and the other has a Domino Academy
uniform on. Kaiba wakes up and looks around.
"Dream...must be dreaming." he mumbles.
"Iya Seto-kun. You're not dreaming." Seth says as he faces his present self.
