Can't Erase What I Feel

I am so, so sorry I have been so bad with updates lately,
I’m having some school schedule mess up’s and my days are being cut in half
cause of night school so I only really have the weekends to write but I promise
to try and finish this and pay more attention to my other stories and I’m
really sorry. Well I hope you like
Chapter 15 of “Cant Erase What I Feel!” ENJOY!

After Yami had safely walked his Hikari home and tucked him
to bed he left the game shop and headed to Joeys place. He wasn’t sure what he
would do or say either. On one hand he had his best friend his Hikari’s best
friend too, someone he could trust and rely on. On the other hand he had a
monster, someone who had ravaged one of the purest things this world had to
offer…a Hikari the few people in this world that are pure and innocent and he
ripped that innocence away from him. Yami shook those thoughts away they would
do him little good he needed to focus, and for Ra’s sake stay calm.

He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he ran straight
into a very irritated Bakura. Bakura glared at Yami in contempt but Yami could
sense a hint of pain in his eyes as he glared at him.

“What are you doing out so late Pharaoh? Won’t your little
Hikari be worried about you?” He targeted

“I have my business…Tomb Robber.” Yami spat back although
calm

Yami shook his head at the spirit; it was hard to believe
that Ryou, someone who was even more innocent that Yugi at times was Bakura’s
other half. Yami looked at him he looked restless like he was facing a problem
that he couldn’t answer. Yami bit his lower lip it was a long shot but huld uld
ask, it couldn’t hurt.

“Are you okay?” Yami asked warily

Bakura snorted, “Funny…you being concerned over me. What
makes you think anything’s wrong in the first place?” He sneered

“Maybe nothing is wrong, that’s why I asked. You seem
worried.” Yami said while he shrugged. “Is it about Ryou?” Yami asked testing
the unpredictable Bakura

Bakura looked away from him and nodded silently, he was
obviously slightly ashamed about giving into the Pharaoh.

“Yes…I know something’s wrong, more than he is letting me
know and it worries me. He usually tells me everything but he has a constant
block up on our link now.” Bakura sighed deeply.

“Since when do you show such compassion?” Yami asked in
disbelief

Bakura smiled slightly as his features softened to an extent
that Yami had never seen before as he turned to face him.

“Despite popular opinion I can care every sten.ten.” His
features suddenly did a one-eighty as his face turned to stone again. “I have
to care about Ryou, he is my Hikari you of all people should understand that.”
He said angrily

“I do Bakura but you should take comfort in knowing that he
should be okay and your link will be restored shortly.” Yami said brushing past
him

“That’s not what worries me Yami…” Bakura trailed off

Yami turned cocking an eyebrow “Oh?” He said softly

“You know how fragile my Hikari is…he would much rather
punish himself than another, no matter how much they hurt him he will twist it
around to make it his own fault and justify their actions no matter how vile.
That’s why he won’t tell me what’s wrong for he knows I will justify it
rightfully…I know how he is, much to forgiving for his own good. That is what
is troubling me whoever hurt him did a number on him Yami and he doesn’t need
any self punishment at the time I need to clear up that thought in his head
before he allows it to continue any further.” Bakura said

Yami was curious “I saw Ryou earlier today Bakura, I don’t
think he is blaming himself.” Yami said

“Slowly on the inside yes he is, he blames himself for
everything I put him through even…what makes you think he wont do the same in
this situation?” Bakura stated “Unless that person takes responsibility for
what they did, admits it to them, and apologizes he will never get over it and
will hate himself…for he will think it was his fault.” Bakura said “I need to
know what’s wrong so I can set it straight.” Bakura said

“If he wanted you to know he would tell you Bakura…he wants
to keep you safe is all, he doesn’t was to hurt you.” Yami said

“And blocking me dose good a plenty?” Bakura snorted, “I’m
not asking for much Yami you know what’s wrong…please I only want to help him.”
Bakura said

Yami sighed “Then talk to Ryou…despite the block you two are
still linked and he does need you if you give him the chance to lean on you he
will take it.” Yami said walking away leaving a stunned and slightly awed
Bakura behind him.

Bakura nodded his head at himself and headed off to Setos
mansion.

Yamok aok a deep breath as he knocked upon Joeys door, and
surprisingly Joey himself had opened it.

“Yami?” Joey said

Yami tilted his head his voice nearly cracked when he spoke
and sounded strained

“Hello Joey…may I come in?” Yami asked casually so not to
let on or let his anger take control.

Joey had stepped aside to let him in and had offered Yami
something to drink or eat but of course he refused it.

“Joey…” Yami began, as Joey looked at him cautiously “I-I
know what happened between you and Ryou.” Yami said looking away

Joey looked down at his feet as he closed his eyes “You here
to banish me to the shadow realm or something?” Joey asked “Please?” Joey said

Yami looked at him shocked “W-what?” Yami asked

beyond mortal comprehension, I deserve it!” Joey said tears straining his voice
further.

“No Joey…Ryou wants to put this all behind him…but you have
to face him.” Yami said

“I…I can’t! I want to, I really do! I want to pour my heart
and soul into apologies even though they will do nothing for Ryou…I want to see
him again more than anything in the world and apologies hav have him forgive me
and…I don’t deserve that though! I will not allow him to forgive me so I will
not face him!” Joey screamed

“Regardless of what you want you still have to take
responsibility for it, and if that means seeing him again so be it.” Yami said

“Yami you don’t understand! I still love him I can’t face
him! I…I should have never had the privilege of being with him.” Joey screamed

and telling him it’s not his fault!” Yami screamed back

“What? H-he is blaming himself?” Joey said in disbelief

“Yes! That’s why you must go to him.” Yami said

“B-but it was my fault! He did nothing wrong.” Joey said

“Yes I know you have to tell him this so that we can all go
on with our lives you must confront him.” Yami said

“When?” Joey said

“Now would be best.” Yami said

“Then lets go.” Joey said as they walked from his home
toward Setos.

Bakura looked at Ryou dumbfounded.

“Please Bakura don’t hate me…I-I’m sorry that I am so weak
and I couldn’t stop him, I’m sorry I was so stupid.” Ryou said tears breaching
his eyes.

Ryou felt so imperceptive, he had let his guard down as soon
as Bakura walked through he door and he knew instantly what Joey had done.

“I’ll deal with you later…” Bakura growled as he stormed
from the mansion.

God I need help, I’m so sorry for these late updates ‘n’ all
I really wish I had the time to write them but I don’t, especially since I’ve
started night school now…I will try my hardest to keep my updates coming but I
cant promise anyththanthanks to all my reviewers! And of course:
