{Joey’s POV}
Oh god. Why is Seto asking me this? Now of all days? What should I answer? I love Seto, with all my heart. I just…I don’t know…
“No…” I finally say. Seto looks at me in shock but then lowers his face looking down letting his bangs cover his eyes. Standing up from the ground he doesn’t even look at me. Walking out of the room not saying a word once.
“Fine,” He finally says when he reaches the door but not looking back at me. I stare at him wide eyed. He walks out of the room as I just stare at him slightly hurt.
“You didn’t let me finish…” I whisper tears streaming down my face. I don’t do anything to stop them. My friends run out of the kitchen staring at me in shock.
“Joey, what’s up with that? Why’d you say no?” Tristan asks me looking me in disbelief. I look up at him as more tears stream down my eyes. I finally lose all control and cry in my hands bawling like baby.
“Joey?” I look to see Yugi’s with sadden eyes in the brink of tears. I can’t help it and wrap my arms around him crying on his chest. Also seeking comfort from him. He gives it to me by wrapping his arms around me rubbing my back soothingly.
“I don’t get it? What’s up with Joey?” I hear Duke asks as Yugi shrugs. I start to slowly fall asleep from all my tears and soon end up in dreamland.

Later Yugi woke me up saying he had to leave and that I should get some rest but I stay downstairs in the living room. I don’t want to know what Seto might be doing.
At the thought tears start to well up in my eye. What if Seto never wants to talk to me again? God, maybe I should’ve explained. Please Seto…don’t hate me. I love you…

{Seto’s POV}
God! How’d this happen? Why didn’t Joey say yes? Does Joey not love me? Am I going to fast for him?
“Uh Seto what is wrong?” I hear Magician say. I look up at him with puffy red eyes from the crying I was doing before hand.
“I purposed to Joey…” I mumble looking down at the floor.
“Really? That’s great!!” Magician says happily but then his facial switches from one of joy to confusion. “But then why are you crying?” He asks.
“He said no,” I say sniffling as I feel more tears come to my eyes. Magician looks at me in shock and then gives me a sympathetic look.
“Oh god Seto I’m so sorry.” Magician says before I hear knock at the door and hear someone call my name…….It’s Joey.
“Seto…please Seto let me in.”
{Joey’s POV}
Please don’t let him hate me. I just have to explain. What if he doesn’t want to see my face?
“Seto?” I say as I knock on his door. I hear no answer but still wait. Please give me one more chance. I won’t let this happen again. Please I want to stay with Seto.
“Seto…please Seto let me in.” I say making my voice louder then usual scared that he might say “Go away”.
“Seto? Please Seto! Please, let me in!” I cry tears now starting in my eyes again. He hates me. I just know it. I know how important these weddings are to humans. I know it’s important to them and I know that it just proves they’re in love but…I still don’t understand…and I want…
The door opens to show Seto looking at me with cold, emotionless look on his face. I tense at the cold stare that he is giving me.
“What do you want, mutt?” He asks cruelly. I look at him wide-eyed. He has never called me mutt before. And if he has cried then he must teach me how to hide it because it doesn't look like he has been crying on bit.
“Oh god, Seto! I’m sorry!!” I cry falling to my knees crying in my hands. I start crying and screaming “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, Seto!!” never once looking at him.
{Seto’s POV} (Yuji: Sorry about all the POV switching but I just want everyone to know what these guys are thinking. I mean it is getting emotional!)
My puppy is crying on floor yelling at me that he is sorry. My eyes soften at the sight of Joey so vulnerable. I kneel down in front of him softly placing my hand on his shoulder.
“Shh,” I try to sooth him and calm his tears. Seeing that he that he just won’t stop crying I place him in my arms and carry him inside the room closing the door.
I place him on the bed with a sigh. He won’t stop crying and now won’t let me go. I lay down in bed placing Joey on my lap, letting him cry on my chest.
“Do you hate me?” He asks in between sniffles. I look down to see his eyes being covered by his bangs. I sigh.
“If I did, do you think I would be holding you?” I say kind of harshly. My puppy tenses by my harsh tone I think. I sigh again and nuzzle my face in his neck resting it there.
“I’m sorry.” He says kissing my check, neck, and shoulder. What is he sorry about? For saying no? Is that not what he meant? I’ll ask him tomorrow about it but right now I just want to act like nothing happened and rest with my puppy.
{Joey’s POV}
Oh god is Seto forgiving me? He is holding me so is that I sign of being forgiven. This is the first time I wish I understood humans better.
God I’m so lucky to have Seto by my side. He must have really forgiven me. I thought he would hate me. Tears swell up in my eyes as I again cry on his chest.
“What’s wrong?” He whispers in my ear. I look up to see his face. It looks just like the Seto I always saw. Beautiful blue eyes and brown hair.
“I just love you so much.” I say leaning in kissing him on the lips. Seto wraps his arms around me kissing me deeper.
“Then why did you say no.” He asks once we broke the kiss. I look at him straight in the eyes. I lower my head in either guilt or shame not even I can tell.
“I didn’t mean no, Seto. I would love to marry you but…don’t you think we’re still young. I…wanna wait. Seto I’ve seen a lot as a puppy. And I’ve also seen married people hate each other. I don’t want that for us. I want to love you forever.” I confess.
Seto looks at me slightly wide-eyed. I guess I’m pretty wise…for a puppy. Seto lays me down on my back going on top of me putting more weight on his hands and knees.
“Fine, let me rephrase myself. Joey, will you marry me but lets have a long term engagement?” Seto asks with a smile. I smile as tears come to my eyes and I quickly kiss Seto wrapping my arms around his shoulders.
“Yes, Seto. I’d love to marry you.” I say as tears slowly fall from my eyes. Seto smiles and leans down to kiss me in the lips.

Yuji: This is weird yes but I’m almost done so that’s why.
Yumi: Now it is your decision again. Lemon or just skip to them telling their friends?
