Bakura’s Request
I somewhere in my sleep noticed that Bakura had
returned but I couldn’t open my eyes, they were a bit too heavy at the moment.
“Hey” I said and informed him that I was awake.
I heard him setting himself next to me.
“Hey”
“Did you find Mokuba?” I asked and half opened my
eyes, still they were being too heavy.
He nodded “Yes I did” he shifted a bit “He wanted me
to say to you that he was okay and that he loves you lots”
I smiled “Was he afraid of you?”
“At first but when I said that you had sent me he
opened up” He looked me straight in the eyes.
“He is fine... he isn’t afraid of the darkness around
him anymore after I talked to him, he’s only worried for you”
For me...?
“All will be fine Seto... relax...” His voice sounded
so... soothing and I closed my eyes again.
I didn’t open my eyes when Bakura cleared his voice...
“Yes?” I asked causally.
“About my reward...” he started
“That you’ll get when we all get out of here”
“Yes! I know!” he said first sounding a bit irritated.
“What do you want?” I asked.
He didn’t answer me. I could hear him shift again. I
was getting a bit impatience when he in about five
minutes didn’t answer.
I sighed, still not opening my eyes “Bakura what-...”
I couldn’t finish the sentence when Bakura’s lips crashed onto my own and
warmth washing all over me. I snapped my eyes open before letting them once
again close. For a while the kiss stayed that way, chaste and shy... wait a
minute... shy...?!!! What the?! I’m Seto Kaiba! I don’t know the meaning of the
word shy!
And it seemed that the very same thought also hit
Bakura as the both of us were coaxing against the others lips and...
And I’ll be damned if I don’t win!
But sadly enough it had to end because we all need
oxygen to function... Well I would call it a tie between us, since no one of us
would like to lose.
As we parted, he was still only a few inches away and
we both panted a little.
I smirked at him through half-lidded eyes “Was that
your reward?”
He looked at me with half opened eyes and mirrored my
smirk “Partly...”
I raised a brow at his smirk “Partly...?” I echoed
before he leaned in and we shared another deep kiss... and this time I must
admit defeat.
As we once again parted I realised that he was
standing on all four above me. When did that happen? And why is my shirt
unbuttoned?
Bakura panted a bit “Yes... partly...”
Partly...?
Oh! He was still taking about his reward “Spit it out”
He then got on his feet and sat down next to me “I
want you to let Ryou move in with you and Mokuba” he said and absently played
with my hair.
“Huh?”
He looked at me “Ryou’s living all alone in an
apartment in central Domino... I’d want him to have people around, 24-7”
“Doesn’t he have you? Or other
family members?” I asked.
“Does this mean your not letting us stay at your
place?” he asked with a bit of irritation in his voice.
“I didn’t say that, I just wondered”
“No, Ryou doesn’t have any family near. His sister,
Amane, died a couple of years ago” Bakura sighed. “And every time I ‘take over’
he’ll get amnesia, but when I’m resting in the Millennium Ring, I can talk to
him”
I got up in sitting position and started to button up
my shirt “So your presence is known to him?”
“Yes” Bakura said and seemed a little disappointed
that I button my shirt “Will you now take him in?”
“Yes, we have a deal, as soon as you get Mokuba and me
out of here I will let Ryou, and you since you share the same body, in”
“Good” he said and smirked “Now I will go and do some
ass-kicking and brother-saving” and with that he was gone.
