Reddish eyes opened immediately, asleep one second, awake the next.
“What the hell?”
They scanned the surroundings, but saw nothing. Abso-fucking-lutely nothing. Fucking boring Shadow Realm…
He sat up slowly. Whatever had awakened him, it wasn’t here…
“Welcome back, Bakura.”
He spun around, almost instantly on his feet, eyes narrowed and scanning the nothing. There was no one there. Nowhere for the voice to’ve come from…
“What’s the matter?” the voice asked. It sounded closer. “Don’t recognize your god?”
He tried to utter a scream as the familiar dark arms enfolded his mind once again.
It died in his throat.
