Chap 14 Heal my Wounded Heart
At the hospital the trio waited anxiously for hours in the waiting room hoping their friend would be fine.
"I hate this, all this bad luck keep happening to Yuugi lately ever since that Cleo chick showed up."
"Face it Jou, Yuugi's life got warped ever since Yami showed up." Anzu said.
"What can we do, we can't do much." Honda said.
"We can, we can support him no matter what." Anzu said.
"We can start by staying here till he get's better. Maybe us keeping him company would cheer him up."Said Jou.
"excuse me you three, Your friend will be just fine, he's in recovery. You can see him now if you like?" Said a flimsey blonde nurse.
The nurse lead them to Yuugi's room. When they entered the room Yuugi had a look of exaustion on his face and bandages around
his torso.
"Hey guys." He said breathless.
"Your not having a good day are ya Yuge?" Jou asked.
"Where's Yami?" Yuugi asked but became worried that they didn't answere him right away. "Well, where is he?" He tried to sit up.
"We aren't sure." Said Honda.
"That last time we saw him, was when he was facing Cleo and her monsters." Said Anzu.
"YOU LEFT HIM ALONE!" He coughed. "HE'S GONNA GET HURT, OR WORSE!" Yuugi tried to get up.
"DON'T TRY TO MOVE, YUGE, YOU NEED TO REST!" Jou held him down by his shoulders.
"I'M ALRIGHT JOU, MOVE IT, HE NEEDS MY HELP!" Yugi shouted fighting Jou's grip.
"YOUR THE ONE WHO NEEDED HIS HELP!" Jou slapped Yuugi to make him stop. Yuugi's eyes teared and he squeaked. "I'm sorry buddy, but there isn't anything you can do for him now."
"YOU ASS HOLE (sob) YOU HIT ME!" He cried.
"You can't even take little tap, what makes you think you can stand up to those deadly monsters?" Jou tried to explain.
Yuugi realizing Jou was right fell back on the back and covered his face with his hands.
"I'll never see Yami again!" Yuugi sobbed heavily. "She's gonna kill him!"
Anzu sat on the gurnie with Yuugi and he turned to place his throbbing head on her lap as she stroked the hair of the tiny teen.
"She's not going to kill him, don't worry, you will see him again. We'll make sure." Anzu said anything to make him feel better.
"We'll help him, Anzu, stay here with Yuugi." Said Jou and he and Honda left the hospital and stopped out front.
"What are we gonna do, we're just as useless as Yuugi is."Honda complained.
"We don't have to face anyone, we just need to find Yami." Jou said as they headed to the battleground of a street they last saw Yami. "All Yuge wants is Yami."
