Can't Erase What I Feel

Hello everybody and here is Chapter 14 to “Cant Erase What I
Feel!” Enjoy!

Sorry this is so late its not all my fault some of the blame
goes to FF.net! And sorry Media Miner reviewers/readers I don’t update till I
can update on both otherwise I will get very confused, anyway ENJOY!

“What?” Yami asked in disbelief

“But…why?” I’ve seen them together Seto, I cant remember the
last time I saw two people so happy together and your telling me the one person
Joey loves most in the world he…” Yami stopped shaking his head. “It’s just it
seems so out of line and far fetched is all, I know Joey very well Seto but now
I don’t know what to think.

“I understand your position Yami but do you think I would
really lie about something like that? I saw Ryou afterward you see and…if you
could have seen him how broken and bruised he was, it liked to kill me seeing
him like that.” Seto trailff

“Would Ryou be willing to talk to me?” Yami asked

“He might, I have no control over that really, but please
try not to upset him, and he is still trying to recover from all the emotional
damage…I would be too.” Seto said looking upstairs from his viewpoint in the
kitchen.

Yami nodded in silent agreement as he walked away from the
kitchen and from Seto. Yugi was sitting in the room across from them reading a
magazine that was on the coffee table. Yami lingered a moment looking at his
Hikari, he was so young and frail…true the two of them were a couple but they
were not physical with each other, Yugi wasn’t ready or so he said. He thought
about how truly innocent a Hikari was, the Yami was a part of them so that they
would be protected…that rose question in Yami’s mind though, where was Bakura
in all this? He should be the one who is protecting Ryou not Seto but he
shrugged it off as he walked upstairs and walked silently into the room where
Ryou was. He was quietly sitting on the windowsill looking outside but more
blankly staring than looking.

“Ryou?” Yami asked cautiously “I wanted to ask…” Ryou cut
him off

“Yami why do you ask questions to which you already know the
answer?” Ryou said looking at him sadly

“I don’t know the answer that’s why I’m asking.” Yami said
taking a step closer

“Yes you do…you just don’t want to believe it is all, trust
me if I could have forced myself to believe otherwise I would have I didn’t
want to know either.” Ryou said looking away.

“I’ve known him for so long though Ryou…I cannot picture him
doing something like that, it just doesn’t fit right.” Yami said shaking his
head

“He pictured it as showing me he loved me.” Ryou said
solemnly

“What?” Yami asked

“That was his reason, most would think you’re not given one
but I guess he wanted to justify what he was doing to me any way possible. He
basically told me if I wasn’t going to accept his love he would make me feel
it…and I guess it worked, I never knew he was capable of such a thing.” Ryou
said tears breaching his eyes

“But he loved you Ryou.” Yami said

“And I loved him Yami…but he wouldn’t let me explain, he
wouldn’t listen to me, he wouldn’t let me do anything…he hit me and then he
raped me! Out of love.” Tears began to flow down Ryou’s delicate features.

Yami walked over to him and embraced his trembling form. It
was enough to break Yami’s heart ng Rng Ryou like this. A Hikari had just been
violated in a way that should be punishable by death. He wouldn’t allow this to
go unpunished for sure as he pulled Ryou closer to him.

“Don't cry Ryou, I promise I’ll see he gets what he
deserves.” Yami said

“No, I don’t want him to be hurt…” Ryou trailed off

“Why?” Yami asked

“You saw him earlier didn’t you? He is putting himself
through enough punishment as it is…I want to put this behind me Yami, I want to
forget.” Ryou said pulling away from him.

Yami nodded his head as he bruised the few tears on Ryou’s
face away.

“Ryou, where was Bakura during all this? Didn’t you try and
call him?” Yami asked still curious.

“I did but, he had a block up I couldn’t get through…it’s a
long story but he didn’t know that something like that was to happen I don’t
blame him.” Ryou said looking away

“Well then why isn’t he here with you now?” Yami asked

“He doesn’t know…and that’s the way it will stay, he will
kill Joey if he was to find out Yami. Bakura can’t know it’s to dangerous and
he is to unpredictable.” Ryou said looking up at him.

“I still think he has a right to know though Ryou…regardless
of what he says and what he did to you he dose care for you.” Yami said

“I know…but I’m getting plenty of care staying right here
and I don’t have to worry about a psychotic Yami either.” Ryou smiled slightly.

“Regardless of what you want for Joey Ryou I am going to
confront him about this, he can only punish himself so far until its complete
you know, he’ll have to face the rest of us sooner or later too. Lets make it
sooner.” Yami said

“Please Yami…don’t tell the other’s” Ryou said looking
hopeful

“All right it will stay between the three of us and Joey.”
Yami said walking out of the room.

Ryou sighed heavily as he heard Yugi and Yami say their
goodbyes and leave. Seto walked into the room quietly.

“You all right?” Seto asked

“I’ve been better, but I’ll be okay.” Ryou said softly

Seto embraced him and kissed him gently on the forehead and
rocked him softly.

Joey sat quietly in his room as every once in a while a tear
would escape his eyes and roll down his cheek. He hated himself and his life,
he wanted to so badly apologies to Ryou but to be punished for what he had done
but no one would grant him redemption…it was hell for him to be living at the
moment and he wasn’t sure how much longer he could last.

All around me are
familiar faces
