The Nightmare!

The Nightmare!

Now that we've learned Dream Clown's motive, let's return to the main
story. We're going to pick up with Malik and Ryou. They have no memories
of their Sen'nin Items or their yami. Can Yugi and Yami help? What will
they find out? Let's start with 14, and a feature POV of Malik.

Chapter 14: Pieces of an Unsolved Puzzle *Malik's POV*

"Who is this Kura that Yugi and Yami speak of I wonder?" Ryou asks me.

"I don't know...I don't even know who Marik is."

"They seem to like them very much Malik.

Ryou and I are sitting on the sofa, trying to figure out what a yami is and what
Yugi was talking about.

"Well Ryou, they should be over soon to check out your place. We got a little
free time..." I say, brushing my hand over his thigh.

He kisses me. My hand unzips his pants and relieves his crammed shaft. He
does the same to mine. I began to stroke him, my lips feeling every vibration
of his sexy moans.

"We should have been done this Malik..." Ryou says, temporairly breaking
our kiss.

'Ryou? Malik? Are you there?' I hear someone say.

"Damn, they're here already!" I say, hurrying to get my pants back up.

"Yea, we're in here." Ryou replies, walking casually to the door and opening
it.

Yugi and his other self walk in and look around.

"Hmmm, looks like someone was busy..." Yami says.

"None of your business Yami." Ryou surprisingly snaps back.

"Becoming more like Kura every day I see." Yami replies smiling lustfully at
Ryou.

Yugi 'mistakingly' steps on Yami's foot and glares at him for a moment. Ryou
and I laugh and Yami's expressions.

"Well, we're here to get to business of finding your other selves." Yugi says.

"Let's start in the bedroom aibou." Yami says to us, every once in a while
sneaking a peek at Ryou.

We go up to my bedroom. I turn on the light and look around. Yami and Yugi
head straight to the mirror, where there are a lot of pictures of me and this
'Marik' they talk about. Ryou stands next to me.

"What could they be looking for?" Ryou whispers in my ear.

I shrug my shoulders and look on the nightstand. There's a photo album
and a letter. I go and pick up the letter. It's to me. Hmmm...I wonder who
wrote this? They have beautiful handwriting. It's written in Hieroglyph,
English, and Japanese. It's signed 'Marik...'

Yugi walks to me and notices the photo album. He sets it on the bed and opens
it up. I quickly put away the letter. Yami and Ryou are on the opposite side
of the bed, looking at the pictures.

"Look at these pictures Malik. They should refresh your memory of Marik."
Yugi says to me.

I look at the pictures and see me and Marik in a lot, then there's some with
Ryou and Kura. The last picture, is a group photo of everyone. Honda and
Otogi, Kura and Ryou, Kaiba and Jounouchi, Yugi and Yami, and then there's
me and Marik.

"When did we take this?" I ask noticing everyone dressed in red.

Yami takes the picture from me and looks at it.

"Just this past Valentine's Day." He says handing the picture to Ryou.

"Why don't I remember taking this photo?" Ryou says as he hands it to
Yugi.

"I guess it's because of your memories being erased somehow. Yami?"

"Yes aibou?"

"Do you still have the Sen'nin Tauk?" Yugi asks him.

"Of course I do. It's in my pocket." He says pulling out a necklace-like
thingy.

"What does that do Yugi?" I ask him.

"The Tauk was given to us by your sister, Ishizu during Battle City." He
replies.

"We are allowed to see the past and the future with it." Yami explains,
placing it around his neck.

He places his hand on the 'eye' and closes his eyes. What the hell is he
doing? What's that weird glow?!

"Umm...is this a good time to run?" Ryou asks backing away from Yami.

"No, don't worry. This is natural." Yugi says.

Finally the spooky glow fades and he opens his eyes.

"Well?" I ask.

"Your minds were probed by an unknown force. It looks as if they
wanted you to forget your yami." He explains.

"Wait?! I know, it was like the other night when you tried to choke me
and take the Puzzle! It was like someone was controlling your mind!"
Yugi says.

"I remember being sick. And when I woke up, that's when I saw the
photos of Kura. I don't remember anyone probing my mind..." Ryou says.

"It was done in your sleep." Yami says.

Sleep? Someone's trying to control us in our sleep?! What's this unknown
force he said something about? When will I meet that foxy guy in those
photos? Oh man! This gets worse and worse by the minute.

"I wish I knew who Marik was. I really do. I mean, what you're telling me
Yami sounds too far-fetched for me to believe. Where did all these photos
of him come from?! I'm so confused. I feel a blank area in my mind...I knew
there was something there, but what? What was there?!" I say falling
to my knees, almost in tears.

I feel Yugi rub my back, at the fustration that's setted upon me. I hope we
can get things back to 'normal' again. Whatever that may be...

*Shadow Realm* (Reader's POV)
Anzu is holding the Rod and the Ring. Dream Clown is pacing back and forth,
wandering what could have went wrong with Yugi and Pharoah.

"How could it have failed 3 times Anzu?!" He asks her.

"I don't know Dream Clown. We do have the Sen'nin Rod and Ring..." she
replies.

"No!" He says slapping the items away. "That's not enough! In order for
this to work, I...we must have the Puzzle!"

"But Yami isn't resting. He's trying to help Malik and Ryou regain their
memories.

'They're going to get them too!' Kura yells from the Ring.

"Just shut up!" Anzu says kicking the Ring across the floor.

"Don't worry about those too Anzu. We already have them. No worries. But,
Pharoah can't maintain that body forever. He needs to rest. And when he
does, that's when we'll strike!" Dream Clown says, looking at the Ring
and the Rod.

Well, there's 14! I'm glad Yami saw that their minds were probed, but why
couldn't he see who it was?? Hmmm... Oh well, you're going to find out! ;)
