Sorting it out
I've only got a few minutes before work, so I might as well post this. Once again, thanks to all my readers and reviewers, and on with it!

Today surely wasn’t going to be fun. If Chazz wasn’t able to make the grade on that test, he’d be stuck with the physical embodiment of evil for another treacherous two weeks. That was something he really didn’t need.
There were only minutes left to class. One anxious slifer felt his anticipation may kill him. If his tutor decided to sit next to him, he could have just asked if he had passed, but since yesterday the ra seemed distant. The tutor didn’t even give Chazz a glance from his seat on the other side of the room. Now there were only seconds left, three, two, one...
As usual, the bell rang and everyone left, except Chazz, his tutor, Crowler and surprisingly, that girl from before. What was she doing here? Did Bastion think bringing her to tutoring sessions was a romantic gesture? Or was he trying to rub it in that he had a girlfriend?
The angry slifer watched as Bastion led the girl to the front of the room toward Crowler. The teacher handed her a sheet of paper. She immediately took the sheet and sat in the front row. Was she taking a test too? Once she was situated, the ra tutor seemed to be instructing her of something, then he started coming toward Chazz. He had a look of melancholy about him.
“Chazz,” the ra began as he neared his student, “I’m sorry, but you only achieved a grade of 87.9%. I can’t request advancement with such an average grade.”
No!! This can’t be! The black clad slifer said nothing and just glared.
“So, are you ready for today’s lesson?” Bastion asked in a defeated tone.
“Psh. Why don’t you just write down everything I need to know, so I don’t have to put up with you anymore?”
“Because, I’m simply not allowed to do that. So are you ready or not?”
“Don’t you have better things to do than ruin my life?” The slifer stated, while glancing down toward the girl. Chazz was aware of how childish he was acting, but right now he didn’t care.
The tutor made note of his student’s glance at the obelisk girl. “If you mean tutoring her, today is her last day, she’s taking a make up exam right now.”
Wait, did he say she was taking an exam? Of course, that made perfect sense, Bastion was only helping her with her studies. Chazz felt like kicking himself for not considering such an obvious conclusion. Guilt started to set in, as he acted rather brashly yesterday. “So what you’re saying is, you’re done with her?”
“Pretty much. I told her if she has any future questions she can ask me, but other than that I won’t be seeing her again. Why do you ask?”
“Never mind that! Get on with your ranting already!”
“Very well. There’s not much to go over today, and if you get it all done you don’t have to stay tomorrow.”
“That’s the best thing I’ve heard out of you yet.” The slifer mumbled in response.
Once again, the tutor began preaching about various ways to use fusion while the student diligently scratched down notes. It was getting harder to focus on what that ra was ranting about when the guilt was growing. The troubled slifer would have to relieve himself of this guilt, no matter what! Even if it meant apologizing.

“Now that didn’t take long, did it? If you have no further questions, you’re free to go.”
“I, ah, well, about yesterday; I didn’t mean what I said, I was having a bad day.” Chazz said as humbly as he could.
Bastion smiled from ear to ear at that comment. “Don’t worry about it then. I forgive you.” The slifer noted the joyful edge had returned to his tutor’s voice as well, and it made Chazz feel happy too. After a very brief moment of happiness together, the tutor announced, “If you don’t have any questions, I’ll see you later!”
“Whatever!” The student barked, trying to conceal his moment of joy. Getting up out of his chair, he ran out of that classroom with a wide grin on his face. He was so happy to be forgiven, though he didn't want anyone to know about that.
Perhaps he would enact his plan to meet with Atticus for some romantic advice. Sorting out his feelings seemed like the proper thing to do, so that would be on his to do list. It was pretty obvious that his tutor was getting to him.
At long last, he made it to the red dorm, yet he hesitated to enter his room. Perhaps now would be just as good a time as any to ask duel academy’s self appointed love doctor for direction. Yes, that’s a fine idea, he should do that. So instead of entering his room, he kept on going toward the blue dorm.
