Chapter 13

Ryou was woken in the morning by a hand gently stroking his side.

"Good morning, bunny." Pegasus said with a smile. "How did you sleep?" Ryou shifted a bit, then winced at a sharp pain in his rear end. "Aww... I'm sorry... was I too rough on my little bunny last night?" Pegasus asked, kissing Ryou's nose and petting his hair.

Ryou felt his ears droop slightly and nodded a little. "Yes...” he said softly making no movement to escape the hands that stroked him. "I... I'm hungry....” he whispered, forcing himself to slowly sit up, and whimpering slightly, his face in a slightly pained grimace.

Pegasus immediately gathered his bunny close his chest in a comforting hug.

"Ohhh... my poor little bunny... Come on... Let's give you a little bath before you eat, hmm?" And he stood from the bed with Ryou in his arms, and carried him into the bathroom. He set Ryou down on the floor and began to run a bath for him.

Ryou sat quietly in the tub as it filled with water and let Pegasus scrub him clean, not fighting with him once, though he wanted to. He wanted to bite him, to hate him, but he couldn't form a lasting anger and it made him crazy.

Pegasus crooned to Ryou throughout his bath, and covered his face in kisses when he took him out of the tub and dried him.

"Feel any better?” he asked, standing and looking down at his fluffy clean bunny. "Let's go get you your breakfast." And he turned and walked from the room. He dressed, then walked out into the hall and headed for the stairs.

Ryou followed Pegasus slowly. "Y-yes... I feel a little better...." he said softly. He curled up on the floor after they entered the kitchen and watched Pegasus closely. "D-did... you mean it?” he asked suddenly.

Pegasus blinked and looked down at Ryou.

"Mean what?” he asked, getting out some fruits and vegetables, beginning to chop them up.

"th-that you... would take me traveling?” he asked sounding hopeful. "please? I.... I...." Ryou sniffled softly. "I... I am a g-good bunny..."

"Of course." Pegasus said, pushing the chopped fruits and veggies into a bowl. Then he turned and walked out of the room with it, smiling as Ryou hopped after him. "Wherever my pet bunny wants to go, we'll go."

"Th-then... Paris?” he asked softly, still hopping after Pegasus until they reached their destination. "B-because... It w-would make me happy....” he said, his ears drooping slightly. "C-can we go?"

"Of course." Pegasus said. "I will have to go to the office and complete some business... but we will leave in a matter of days. Is that okay?” he asked, entering the Bunny Room and glancing at Tuc and Nod who grew excited when Ryou appeared.

Ryou nodded slightly, though he seemed disappointed. "That long?” he asked softly gratefully nibbling bits of fruit from Pegasus's fingers, and nuzzling Tuc and Nod.
Pegasus set Ryou's food into his food dish, and lifted Ryou into the cage as well, closing the door.

"I'm afraid so. But I want to book the best hotel and get us the best flight out there, and plan what I will do with my little bunny. So you be good while I'm gone, okay?” he said, smiling.

Ryou pawed the side of his cage lightly and whimpered, giving Pegasus a hurt look. "But! I... I don’t want to be alone!” he whimpered, slumping down and sniffling. "Please don’t leave me alone... take me with you!"

Pegasus blinked down at Ryou.

"You're with your little friends. But... I suppose if you want to come to the office with me, and promise to be good....” he sighed, then nodded and opened the cage, getting down Ryou's bunny suit, gloves, booties and harness. "C'mere, then...” he said with a smile.

Ryou hopped eagerly to Pegasus, followed by Tuc and Nod, all three eagerly sitting before Pegasus. "Can... can Tuc and Nod come too?” he asked hopefully, nuzzling Pegasus gently. "We're good bunnies!"

Pegasus blinked, then chuckled.

"Very well.” he said, petting Ryou and dressing him in his bunny suit and putting the harness on him. He then pulled down two smaller harnesses and fit them on Tuc and Nod.

He clipped their leashes to Ryou's harness, and then took Ryou's leash, standing up.

"There. Ready?” he asked, smiling and ruffling Ryou's hair.

Ryou nodded eagerly. "Yes!” he chirped nuzzling Pegasus's leg. "Oh lets go! Are we going outside too?” he added eagerly, ears raised halfway, signaling his eagerness and excitement.

Pegasus laughed. "We're going for a ride in the car.” he said, getting out his cell phone and calling for his limo. "We'll go outside once we get home, though. Is that okay?” he asked, grinning as Ryou hopped out in front of him for once, pulling on the leash.

Ryou nodded and hopped eagerly into the limo and curled up on the large seating provided. "hurry hurry!” he sang happily, poking his head out of a window and looking around outside, glad that Tuc and Nod couldn't hop onto the seat, for fear they’d fall out of a window.

Pegasus laughed and climbed in, telling the driver to take him to the office.

"If you stick your head out the window for the ride, your hair will be an impossible mess by the time we get there." Pegasus pointed out, eyeing Ryou's little puff of a tail. He reached out and flicked it.

Ryou squeaked and turned baring his teeth slightly, just barely stopping himself from nipping Pegasus. "Don’t!” he squeaked, blushing softly and turning back to the window. "I like to watch the outside!” he said softly. "I never get to see other outside! Just the same outside everyday!"

Pegasus stared at Ryou. Had... had he just bared his teeth to his master?! Pegasus frowned and grabbed Ryou's leash, jerking the bunny back in and rolling the window up. He seized Ryou's ears and forced him to look him in the eye.

"Did you just show your teeth to me?!” he growled, glaring down at Ryou, a dangerous gleam in his eye.

Ryou whimpered softly and shook his head. "N-no... y-you scared me i-is all.” he whimpered. "I'm n-not a bad bunny!” he said closing his eyes fearfully and whimpering. "I'm a g-good bunny. Good bunny!” he pleaded softly. "P-please d-don’t get angry..."

Pegasus frowned and released Ryou.

"Don't let me catch you showing your teeth to me again.” he growled. "Or I will have to call Rex to come back and remind you how that is a very bad thing for a bunny to do..."

Ryou looked at him with wide fearful eyes. "N-no please! Rex hurts me!" He pleaded softly. "He hurts me, I'm not a bad bunny!” he said backing away slightly, sniffling and whimpering. "M-master Pegasus please don’t say such things... I promise I'm not a bad bunny!” he sniffled, trembling slightly.

Ryou felt his ears against his head and knew he probably appeared immensely afraid... and he was. The idea of Rex coming back again frightened him. Last time he was called as a punishment he'd bitten Ryou several times.

Pegasus looked at Ryou.

"I won't call Rex unless you give me a reason to, Ryou.” he said, then grabbed him and pulled him into his lap. "But you've been such a good bunny recently, I'll let this incident slide." And he gently stroked Ryou's hair and back, flicking his tail again.

Ryou twitched lightly, still very defensive of his sore back end. "N-no... please do not... still sore...” he whispered. "It m-makes me want to bite..." He added softly. "please do not make me bad bunny.” he said giving Pegasus a pleading look. "I'm a good bunny...” he whispered, nuzzling him. "I'm a good bunny and I love you.” he said softly, much to his own surprise.

Pegasus smiled a perfectly wicked smile, and he flicked Ryou's tail again.

"A good bunny will not bite, even though he may want to....” he hissed into Ryou's ear. "You ARE a good bunny... but are you good enough?" And he continued to flick Ryou's tail and run his hand roughly over Ryou's backside.

Ryou whimpered and his ears flattened against his head, the fur beginning to bristle with each shock of pain sent up his spine from the harsh treatment.

"ah ah! P-please stop!” he said closing his eyes tightly and gripping Pegasus's pants in his hands tightly, twitching and yelping. He bared his teeth once more, and even went so far as to set them on Pegasus... but froze. He couldn't bite him... He began to tremble harshly and whimpered as soft tears fell from his eyes, mouth still set on his master's leg, ready to bite, but unable.

Pegasus gave a low chuckle.

"What a good bunny....” he murmured to Ryou, stopping his harsh treatment of the boy's aching rear. "You did very good. Perhaps... my little bunny deserves a reward?" And he slid his hand down over Ryou's bottom and between his legs, squeezing firmly.

Ryou's eyes became half lidded, and his demeanor immediately became serene, his grip loosening instantly as he mewled softly, now nuzzling Pegasus's leg and gently pawing at his pants, his body craving the attention like a starved man craved food. Ryou whimpered softly, confused as to how he was going through such changes towards Pegasus.... how he couldn't bite him... why he felt so attached.... why he loved him.

Pegasus grinned and moved Ryou onto his back on the seat, moving the cloth of the bunny suit aside so he could "reward" Ryou without interference.

"Are you a good bunny?” he asked, massaging Ryou's genitals.

Ryou began to pant softly, as Pegasus worked. "Y-yes a very good bunny!” he moaned softly. He squirmed softly under Pegasus, a soft blush creeping up his cheeks.

Pegasus chuckled at Ryou. He certainly was a charming little creature.

Pegasus smiled and held Ryou in his lap, cuddling him and soothing him, helping him to calm down. He chuckled as Tuc and Nod hopped up onto the seat and scurried over to Ryou and into Pegasus' lap as well, and began to nuzzle him and gently groom his ears. Pegasus smiled and pet Nod, who ignored him. Then, his limo slowed to a stop.

"We're here.” he said, and gently put the three bunnies on the floor. "Stay next to me, Ryou.” he said, and tied a little blue satin ribbon around Ryou's neck. Then he got out of the car, the three bunnies behind him making many heads turn and he strode towards the front doors of his company, Ryou hopping by his side, Tuc and Nod scampering at Ryou's heels.

Ryou looked around eagerly, loving the views outside the large business building.

However the inside was even more glorious! The smell of water... the sounds of fountains, green plants everywhere, just enticing him to nibble....

Ryou yelped however as his footing became very unstable. He slipped and slid and finally fell to the floor with a flump. Marble tiles....

Pegasus blinked and looked down at Ryou and chuckled, and many titters were heard from people in the lobby watching.

"Having some trouble, Ryou?" Pegasus asked, watching Tuc and Nod licking Ryou's cheeks.

Ryou go up slowly and looked at the floor with a puzzled expression, seeing his reflection in the highly polished surface. Blinking a bit he leaned down and sniffed at it for a moment, before doing something completely unexpected.

With his little fluffy tail in the air, he began desperately pawing at the floor, as though he were trying to get to his reflection, or perhaps just dig through. Thankfully since he was wearing the soft bunny gloves, he was getting nowhere.

The marble remained scratchless, and the only occurrence was a soft thrum of 'awww's were heard.

Pegasus blinked, then laughed.

"What on earth are you doing?” he asked, but Ryou offered no answer. Pegasus shook his head, both baffled and delightedly amused by Ryou's odd behavior, and gave the leash a tug. "Come on, now. Let's go.” he said, and headed for the elevators, tugging Ryou along. Ryou, who had not stopped the digging, suddenly found himself sliding across the floor on his booties and gloves. Pegasus grunted.

"Do I have to drag you the whole way?” he asked, looking back at Ryou.

Ryou blinked and looked up from the tile, moderately confused. He turned and slowly, carefully, began padding after Pegasus, slipping and sliding slightly glad to enter the elevator that seemed to have different flooring.

Ryou nuzzled Pegasus's leg slightly and yawned. Sitting in the large elevator was two small fern type plants, offering slight decoration to the otherwise dull elevator. After all this was a dignified place of business, everything had to have it's own sense of prestige.

Ryou blinked and slowly snuck towards the plant and sniffed it. He was still somewhat hungry from breakfast. He smiled and took a bite, being careful to rip off the whole leaf, so no one would notice his snacking.

However, he had no such luck. Pegasus tugged the leash.

"No!” he ordered, firmly. "No, Ryou. I'll have some food brought up for you if you're hungry, but no nibbling on my plants, please." And he knelt and pet Ryou who had huddled down at being scolded. "There you go... who's my good bunny?" Pegasus asked, smiling.

Ryou nuzzled into Pegasus's hand and looked up warily. "I'm a good bunny.” he said smiling slightly. Ryou offered the leaf he'd ripped off to Tuc and Nod, instead of eating it. Tuc and Nod were delighted and nibbled happily on their treat while they waited for the elevator to reach the top floor, which was Pegasus's personal office.

Ryou hopped around slowly, seeming to pace slightly during the wait. The elevator smelled quite strongly of cleaners and it bothered his nose slightly. The music was sleepy music, and if it weren't for the strong scent of cleaners, he would have laid down and started to take a nap. His ears twitched slightly as the elevator continued to rise. He could hear the people talking on each floor, as they passed it.

He looked at Pegasus questioningly, tilting his head to the side, before sneezing suddenly. He shook his head, sneezing again. Those awful cleaners were so STRONG! He wrinkled his nose and hopped back to the plant, sticking his face into it and sniffing the plant, glad that it drowned out the strong chemicals of cleaners.

Pegasus watched Ryou, amused. The poor little thing had a nose that was a little too strong for him. After the long wait was over, Ryou was the first one out of the elevator. Pegasus smiled and headed towards his office, watching Ryou hopping around and sniffing everything they passed, be it desk, plant, or person. The people they passed all paused in their work to watch the adorable little hybrid curiously inspect everything, the two little bunnies following his every move.

Finally they reached Pegasus' office. The man smiled and let Ryou, Tuc and Nod in, and closed the door behind them. He knelt and removed the leashes from the three bunnies' harnesses to let them hop around the room, freely. Then he went over to his desk and called his secretary, asking for three salads to be sent up, one with dressing, and the other two without. Then he turned on his computer and watched Ryou as he waited for it to boot up, wondering how long it would take the little fellow to find the doggie bed that Pegasus had bought a few weeks ago (hoping to be able to bring Ryou to the office with him) that was in the corner for him.

Ryou nuzzled the carpeted office floor, glad to finally have a good footing. He wandered slowly through the room and stopped suddenly, blinking at the small bed. His ears rose slightly, the tips hanging in his face as he slowly inched closer, inspecting the new device.

"What....?” he mumbled sniffing at the bed slowly, then stopping and sitting up, seeming to look around for danger, or perhaps the animal that was meant for the bed.

After a few repetitions of that action, he slowly climbed into the bed and curled up contently before beginning to chew on the edge of it, one of his most favorite activities, and the sides were coated in leather! Making them specifically chewy!

Pegasus chuckled.

"Do you like it?” he asked Ryou. "I got is especially for you for when I bring you to the office with me."

Ryou paused in his chewing to look at Pegasus, then back to the bed. A blush slowly crept up his cheeks and he smiled lovingly. "I love it...” he said softly his ears slowly falling back into their usual place. He nuzzled the bed and sighed, looking at Pegasus like a lovesick puppy.

His mate had provided for him... kept him safe… he was a very good mate. Ryou sighed again, longingly… and he was his mate's very wonderful bunny.

Pegasus smiled at Ryou and logged into his computer and began to work. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door, which sent a startled Tuc and Nod scurrying under the sofa.

"Enter." Pegasus called, and his secretary walked in.

"Three salads, Mr. Pegasus." She said.

"Thank you. Leave the one with the dressing on my desk and set the other two on the floor, lids off, please.” he instructed. The woman nodded and set one salad on the desk, then knelt and removed the lids to the other two and set them on the floor. She stood and smiled over at Ryou, then left the room.

Ryou got up and hopped over to one of the bowls and begin nibbling at the contents. It didn't take long however, for him to finish, and slowly hop over to Pegasus, noticing his salad had something that the bunny salad didn't. Crutons.

Ryou sat up and propped himself against the desk, trying to get high enough to sniff the interesting smell that the dressing gave off. "Mmm....” he said and looked at Pegasus. "Your salad smells different.” he said after a moment, giving his master the best adorable look he'd ever given anyone. "Can I have some?"

Pegasus blinked down at Ryou, then chuckled.

"I don't think so, Ryou.” he said, pulling his salad over and picking up his fork. "I don't think your little tummy will like the salad dressing very much. It might make you sick.” he said, glancing at Tuc and Nod who had discovered the other salad on the floor.

Ryou pouted. "I won’t get sick!” he pouted sliding down. He looked at Tuc and Nod, glad they were getting something yummy to eat. He hopped over to the windows, which were all that formed one wall. He blinked and looked out. "We're... so high!” he said backing away from them a bit. "Don’t you get scared you will fall?” he asked looking at the windows suspiciously.

Pegasus chuckled.

"No.” he said, typing away at his computer. "There's a chest over by your little bed, Ryou, with some toys in it for you if you get bored." Ryou turned and saw that there was indeed a chest next to his bed with little bunnies engraved in the dark wood. "Why don't you go see what's in there for you?" Pegasus asked.

Ryou nodded and hopped over to the chest and opened it. "Oh..." He said blinking at the collection of chewies, balls, puzzles and treats. He grinned and picked up one of the smaller toys and set it out for Tuc and Nod, once they finished their lunch and picked up a larger toy, that was brightly colored and had many buttons, levers and a mass of treats in plain view, but shielded by puzzles.

Ryou looked at a small tube filled with small bits of candy. He looked at Pegasus surprised. "I... I can have the candy too?” he said, sniffing the small tube. The smell of watermelon met his nose and he looked at Pegasus again. "W-watermelon candy... is for me?” he asked again. Little did he know that although it looked and smelt like candy, it was actually a health chewie, but he wouldn't notice... its whole purpose was to replace candy in a healthy, though equally delicious way.

Pegasus smiled over at Ryou.

"Of course it's for you. Everything in that chest is all for you.” he said, gazing at Ryou adoringly. This was just as he had always dreamed. Ryou was his perfect little pet bunny.

Ryou beamed with joy, and immediately hopped over to Pegasus and hopped suddenly into his lap, disrupting his work. But the annoyance of the disruption was short lived, as soft lips came into contact with Pegasus's in an adoring kiss.

Ryou pulled back blushing, and nuzzled his master. "You are a good mate.” he said softly, licking his cheek and closing his eyes content in his master's lap.

Pegasus blinked and his eyes widened.

"M-Mate?” he repeated, shocked.

Ryou blushed darkly and hunched down, surprised himself that he'd uttered such a word to the object of his affections. "I... n-not... i-if... you do n-not wish....” he stammered humiliated, his face beet red.

Pegasus blinked again, then chuckled and wrapped his arms around Ryou, hugging him tightly and kissing the tip of his nose.

"Awww..... my sweet little bunny. I can be that for you. Is that what you want?” he asked, delighted that Ryou thought of him in that way.

Ryou blushed and nuzzled Pegasus. "Y-yes... y-you... are my... my mate.” he said softly. "...right?” he asked tugging his own ears worriedly. "Y-you... d-did...w-we did....” he stammered softly, blushing all the darker.

Pegasus had initiated mating... hadn't he? Ryou looked at him fearfully. Maybe he didn't know... maybe he didn't want a mate. Ryou shook his head. "P-please! y-you are my mate right? you did! You want the good bunny right?"

Pegasus pet Ryou's head and back.

"Oh, I want the good bunny very much.” he crooned, soothingly. He kissed Ryou's cheeks. "I love my good bunny. And I am your master. And yes, I suppose I am your mate, too. Do you want that?” he asked, smiling and petting Ryou's hair.

Ryou nodded. "Yes!” he said nodding quickly. "y-you picked me!” he added blushing. "you want me as... a mate right?” he asked softly. "you... mated with me... you must want the good bunny right? I am the best bunny!” he said hoping to convince Pegasus he was the best suited for his affections. "I promise I will be good forever and ever for my mate!” he said hopefully. "I will love you forever, just you!” he added quickly. "Mates... for life?” he asked after a moment of silence, hoping Pegasus would agree to the idea of loving only him... and being his mate for the rest of his life.

Pegasus laughed at Ryou's enthusiasm.

"Yes! You are mine for life!” he confirmed. "And you ARE the best bunny. There is no one better than you. I picked you because I wanted you, and only you. You are my precious, beautiful, good, perfect little bunny. And you're all mine. Forever.” he said, patting Ryou's rump fondly.

Ryou shivered, still slightly sore, but enjoying Pegasus's hand despite the fact. "you wanted me forever? J-just for you?” he asked blushing and looking at Pegasus surprised. "I promise!! Just for you! No one but you! I am just your bunny... and no one else’s." Ryou mewled softly.

He kissed Pegasus once more, nuzzling him and giving him a longing loving gaze.

"Last night...." Pegasus said. "You asked me why I did this to you. Well, now you have your answer."

Ryou gave Pegasus a brief sad look. "I wish I could go home...” he said before covering his mouth. Where had that come from? He shook his head confusedly. He was home with his master... what other home was there?

Pegasus blinked, then frowned.

"And what home is that?” he asked in a low tone.

Ryou hunched down fearfully, not liking the tone he was receiving. "I... don’t know....” he said softly. "h-home... is... is with you...?” he hurried after a slight silence.

Pegasus snorted, but no smile came to his face this time.

"That's right. And you had better remember that if you want to be a happy bunny.” he said, and pushed Ryou off of his lap and to the floor. "Now, I need to get some work done, so why don't you go play with your toys and your friends...” he said, and began tapping away at the keyboard again, not even sparing Ryou a glance.

Ryou whimpered softly, backing away slowly, before bumping into the window. He turned and looked out once more. He sniffled softly, feeling bad for angering his master. He gazed over the city quietly, before his eyes caught a familiar sight. "School....” he said softly, blinking and staring at it softly. He tilted his head slightly and flicked his ears.

He had forgotten about school... the sounds of the bell ringing between classes... lunch with his friends. He gazed at the school longingly. "School....” he repeated, as he slowly recalled the things he'd forgotten about since he'd become Pegasus's loving bunny. It puzzled him that he'd remembered such a place... he was a bunny.

But as clear as day he was so sure he must have been in that building. The desks, the teachers... homework. 'I miss that... I wish I knew why.....' he thought pawing the glass of the window lightly.

Pegasus continued to work for hours, never looking up from his computer. Ryou had become quite bored and ended up napping in his bed with Tuc and Nod, and that was where Pegasus found him several hours later, a chew toy still hanging out of his mouth. The man smiled at the adorable sight and stretched, then shut down the computer.

"Ryou.” he called, standing and picked up the leashes. "Ryou, wake up. It's time to go."

Ryou yawned softly and shook his head, sitting up and stretching. "going home?” he asked softly hopping over to Pegasus and looking at him worriedly. "I… am still a good bunny?” he said softly, hoping Pegasus had forgiven him for his comment earlier. "Home... is with you.” he added quickly lowering his head in apology.

Pegasus smiled and knelt, clipping Tuc and Nod to Ryou, and then leashing Ryou as well.

"Yes, you are a good bunny. And yes, home is with me.” he said, and stood, heading for the door. Ryou hopped along side him on the way to the elevator. The doors closed and Pegasus pushed the button for the lobby and called his limo to the front of the building. Then he leaned against the back of the elevator and sighed, closing his eyes.

Ryou looked at Pegasus curiously. "Is something bothering you?” he asked softly, tilting his head to the side. "I will make the problems go away.” he added smiling.

Pegasus looked down at Ryou and chuckled.

"I have a headache from staring at that computer screen for too long. I'm tired, that's all.” he said.

Ryou nodded. "then you should take a nap.” he said matter-of-factly. "You can sleep when we get home.” he added smiling. "And I will wait for you to wake up!"
Pegasus chuckled.

"Sounds good.” he said, and stood up when the elevator reached the lobby. The doors opened and Pegasus walked out, three bunnies hopping after him, once again earning much attention.

Ryou slipped and slid through the lobby once more, and gratefully entered the limo and sat staring out the window once more. He somehow hoped to see more things he'd remember somehow. It stirred a strange feeling when he gazed at that school, and he wanted more. He felt like he'd forgotten something very important, but just couldn't recall exactly what.

He laid his head in the window, letting the wind toss his ears and hair a bit, enjoying the warm breeze against his skin. "Mmmm..."

Pegasus closed his eyes and relaxed in his car, Ryou's leash wrapped loosely around his wrist. Tuc and Nod were on the seat grooming each other, and Ryou was looking out the window. And by pure chance, they happened to drive by a certain park. Ryou's eyes widened when he saw Seto Kaiba sitting on a bench, talking with a young man with tan skin and blonde hair. But his heart nearly stopped at what he saw next.

Yugi was running across a field, shouting something, and a flash of color drew Ryou's eyes in the direction that Yugi was running. It was Yami in his familiar black leather, taking flight as Bakura in black shorts nearly bowled him over, and there on Bakura's heels in denim shorts, was Marik.

Ryou gasped and shook his head. He looked back at Pegasus and after picking Tuc and Nod up in one arm, and did something he never expected himself to do. He climbed out the window of the car, tumbling to the ground. He whimpered slightly from the pain and began darting quickly across the street, his beloved bunny friends in his arm, safe from harm.

Pegasus yelped as the leash around his wrist gave a violent tug, toppling him over. He sat up and looked around. Ryou was gone. He looked out the back of the car and saw his bunny scampering across the road with Tuc and Nod, heading for the park.

"TURN AROUND!!!” he roared at the driver.

Ryou hurried into the park, clutching Tuc and Nod and panting softly, looking around. Where had they been? He looked around, sniffing the air, before picking Tuc and Nod up once more and darting in the direction of the familiar scent. It was Marik! It just HAD to be Marik! He was alive! Ryou felt tears of joy rolling down his cheeks as he rushed through the park, looking for his lover.

Marik paused in his chase of Bakura (who was dive bombed by an angry Yami) and sniffed the air.

"R.... Ryou?” he gasped, and looked around.

"Hey... what's that?" Seto said, interrupting Malik mid sentence. The pair turned and looked at a white thing hopping around the park wall and running into the field, dropping two smaller white things which followed it.

"It... looks like a.... bunny.... Oh my gosh!" Malik gasped, leaping to his feet. Marik turned and his eyes widened.

"RYOU!!!” he called, seeing the bunny streaking across the grass towards him, the bells on his booties jingling. Bakura and Yami stopped their fight and both looked up.

"Holy shit! It IS Ryou!!!" Bakura gasped, eyes wide. Marik sprung forwards, charging across the field towards the bunny.

Ryou gave a delighted cry and sped up even more. "Marik!” he chirped happily. He was alive! "Bakura! Yami!” he called gleefully, glad to have found his friends after so long. "You're all here!” he giggled and romped through the grass, hardly able to hide the joy in him. Marik was alive! He was alive and just within his reach! Best of all it was all REAL!

Malik and Seto glanced at each other, then began running across the field, as did Yugi.
Bakura and Yami released each other and ran towards Ryou as well. Marik let out a joyful roar and leapt into the air, pouncing Ryou and sending them both rolling across the grass, hugging and laughing and crying all at once. Tuc and Nod dodged out of their way and huddled down together in the grass, startled and frightened by the lion's charge.

"Ryou!" Marik cried. "Ryou! It's you! It's really you! Oh Ryou!" And he smothered Ryou with licks and kisses.

Ryou giggled and nuzzled Marik. "You're alive!” he said sniffling softly. "I was so afraid... she killed you!” he said wiping tears from his eyes and nuzzling him once more. "B-but you're not! you're alive... you lived!” he said joyfully. Ryou licked Marik's cheek and hugged him close.

"I was afraid that I would never see you again..." Marik gasped, clutching Ryou to his chest. Bakura skidded to a stop and smiled at the pair as everyone else reached them. Bakura nuzzled Malik's leg, Marik's happiness affecting him.

Ryou clung to Marik crying tears of joy into his chest before suddenly stopping, his ears perking up. His eyes widened and he shook his head. "Marik... you have to hide!” he said suddenly. "Please, please!” he said quickly, knowing Pegasus would soon be there to reclaim him. "Please! You have to hide! He'll see you! He'll want you dead!" Ryou said squirming softly to get away. "Please!"

Marik blinked.

"Want me dead? Who?” he asked. But before an answer could be given, then answer made himself known.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" Pegasus screamed, beside himself with rage. Everyone froze and turned to look at him. "Ryou...” he hissed, and Marik's eyes widened, pulling Ryou tightly against him. "Come here... NOW!!!"

Ryou looked at Pegasus fearfully and then back to Marik. He whimpered softly and squirmed to get loose, and slowly crept back to Pegasus, hoping beyond hope he'd not recognize Marik. It had been a while after all... and he looked much different. If he could just keep Pegasus distracted... he could hopefully keep him from noticing.

He whimpered and looked up at Pegasus hoping that he'd just take him and leave... despite his longing to stay with Marik.

Pegasus knelt and seized Ryou's leash, roughly jerking him. He looked over those before him... Yugi and Yami... Seto Kaiba... The skunk that had been dyed pink nuzzling up to a boy.... and a... lion. Pegasus narrowed his eyes on Marik.

"It's you....” he hissed. "That lion! WHAT ARE YOU DOING ALIVE?!” he roared, and Marik bared his teeth and growled, but tucked his tail in and backed away until he was pressed against Malik's legs, opposite to Bakura who was also baring his teeth and growling, tail raised.

Ryou whimpered softly. He had to get Pegasus away from Marik! He shook his head giving his master pleading eyes. "Please....” he whimpered. "Don’t hurt my friends..."

He said softly, hunching down. 'I promise... anything you ask of me.... please just leave.... don’t hurt him... I'll do anything you ever ask of me....' he pleaded in his mind. 'I will do anything.... just leave them alone...'

Pegasus had a knack for knowing what he was thinking, and he prayed that he was paying attention now. Paying attention and willing to take his soul in exchange for killing Marik.

'Please... Master Pegasus... leave. You can punish me until I can no longer move.... I will be your mate forever... anything you desire... just please leave them alone....'

Pegasus did hear Ryou. And while he wanted to act he knew that it was useless in the presence of Seto Kaiba, who had just as much power as Pegasus himself, if not more.

"Say goodbye, Ryou.” he growled. "We're going home." And then he knelt and jerked Tuc and Nod's leashes from Ryou's harness and flung them aside. Then he turned and gave Ryou's leash a vicious jerk as he stormed back across the field towards the car.

"No.... NO!!" Marik cried, and moved to go after them.

"One more step and I will see you dead personally!!!" Pegasus snapped, whirling and glaring at Marik. "You and that skunk both!!!" Then he turned and continued dragging Ryou away.

Ryou felt his ears droop and he looked at Tuc and Nod. He carefully picked them up and hopped after Pegasus. But Pegasus would have nothing of it, and gave his leash a rough jerk.

"Put them down.” he commanded sternly. Ryou's eyes widened and he put them down, giving Marik a desperate pleading look. He started hopping after Pegasus again, followed by Tuc and Nod. Ryou whimpered as they neared the street and turned once more to Marik and mouthed 'Take care of them PLEASE!'

He couldn't bear the idea of his beloved bunny friends becoming road kill...

Pegasus got to his car and opened the door, pushing Ryou in. Tuc and Nod quickly darted in behind him, but the man growled and seized their leashes, jerking the bunnies out of the car. He turned, the rabbits kicking and squirming as they dangled in the air from the leashes and harnesses, and squealed as they were flung away.

They hit the ground and rolled, quickly up righting themselves and huddling together, shaking. Marik and Bakura ran over, eyes wide, horrified at what Pegasus was doing. But the man didn't even look back. He got into his car and slammed the door, and the limo pulled away.

Ryou squirmed and looked out the back window to see Bakura and Marik standing side by side, holding the bunnies gently by the loose skin on the back of their necks in their teeth, Marik with Tuc, Bakura with Nod. And the pair stared as the limo drove away, tears rolling down Marik's cheeks as the car turned the corner, disappearing with Ryou.

Yami came to rest on the wall of the park and folded his wings, Yugi, Malik and Seto running through the gate and stopping, looking down at the skunk and lion. Slowly, Marik turned and plodded back into the park, and the others followed. Marik lay down and let Tuc go, curling up around the shaking rabbit with a heartbroken moan. Bakura looked up at Malik, also near tears, Nod hanging from his jaws.

Yami frowned and looked at Seto. "We have to do something... even if I'm not human anymore... you still are... and you SAW what happened... Seto...” he said, looking at him with a sad expression. He looked away and shook his head. "Poor Ryou... I never would have imagined he'd end up with someone that heartless...” he said somberly shaking his head.

Ryou trembled softly, looking at Pegasus and tugging his own ears. It was a very long time before he pulled enough courage to speak. "... I'm sorry...” he said softly. "I... won’t ever l-leave you again....” he added pitifully, fearing the wrath of his owner.

Pegasus whirled and backhanded Ryou to the floor of the car.

"How dare you....” he hissed. "How DARE you do that?!” he seized Ryou by the ears and jerked him up. "You are in a LOT of trouble, mister..." And he shoved Ryou away and got out his cell phone. He dialed, then listened to it ring. Rem answered.

"Rem...” he growled. "I don’t care what you are doing, but I want you and Rex over to my house immediately... And just so you know... Ryou isn't the only one in trouble this time...."

Ryou whimpered, giving Pegasus wide fearful eyes. He'd known this was coming... but he was still terrified. "Please.... master I'm so sorry!” he whimpered, backing under one of the seats fearfully. "I w-was a bad bunny! B-but I promise I'll never be a bad bunny EVER again!” he pleaded, feeling fresh tears roll down his cheeks. "Please! Believe me! I will be the good perfect bunny! Anything you want!” he begged, as they neared Pegasus's home. "I-I know I d-deserve punishment! B-but please do not hate your bunny!" he sniffled tugging his own ears softly. "I am so sorry!"

Pegasus glared at Ryou in fury, showing no sign that Ryou's pleads were affecting him.

"You have been a very.... VERY.... bad bunny. And bad bunnies must be punished....” he growled. "There will be no trip outside for you today. Or for the rest of the week! There will be NO trip to Paris. Not until I am satisfied that you actually ARE a good bunny." The car stopped and he seized Ryou by the ears and flung him out the door, then jerked him towards the house by the leash. Rem would not be there for at least another ten minutes... and Pegasus planned to make the most of those ten minutes punishing the bunny himself.

Ryou hurried after Pegasus sniffling, ears flat against his head in sheer terror of what would become of him. Ryou whimpered as Pegasus opened the door and shoved him in with his foot, sending him tumbling across the floor. "P-please! I am a good bunny! y-you don’t have to take me outside! Or to Paris! Please don't hate your bunny!" He pleaded shaking his head. "I'm good! I'm not a bad bunny! Please believe me!” he whimpered sniffling and backing away from Pegasus fearfully. "I....I'm not bad! Please Master Pegasus! I swear! I won’t ever be bad again! I'll do anything for you!"

Pegasus growled and advanced on Ryou, grabbing him by the ears and lifting him up into the air.

"Do you love that lion, bitch?!” he spat, livid that Marik was still alive. "Does he love you? Did he mate you?!"

Ryou's eyes widened. "N-No! You are my mate!” he said fearfully. "I love you! Just you!" He whimpered shaking his head. "H-he loves me... b-but I love you!" Ryou stammered fearfully. "I'm YOUR bunny only! J-just yours! I... I just missed my friends!” he said whimpering. "I'm so sorry Master Pegasus please! I am still your good bunny!"

"Good bunny? Oh no... you are NOT a good bunny!" Pegasus snapped, then turned and carried Ryou up the stairs. "You are lying to me! You DO love him... You jumped out of the car to go to him! You are a VERY bad Bunny...." and he slapped Ryou harshly. He walked into the Bunny room and dropped him on the floor, tying Ryou's leash to a ring in the wall that Ryou had never noticed before.

"And like a bad bunny, you are going to be punished." the man said as the doorbell was rung. Pegasus glared down at Ryou, then turned and went down the stairs to get the door. He flung it open and glared at Rem and Rex. He stepped aside to let them in.

Rem bowed her head and stepped in, knowing she was in for the worst sort of rant she'd ever live through, but unwilling to speak to find out if her suspicions were true. She patted Rex's head and looked at Pegasus carefully. "Please give Rex his directions, before we proceed...." She said calmly, knowing if Rex was present for her berating, that he'd be too frightened to do much about Ryou.

Pegasus looked down at Rex.

"It's simple enough. The rabbit has been VERY bad. And he needs to be punished. I want you to give him a sounds thrashing. I want him to hurt. But no wounding to scar." Rex's eyes narrowed and he grinned, tail wagging faster and faster. "He's in his room." Pegasus said, and in a flash Rex was up the stairs. Then, Pegasus turned to Rem.

"And you have some explaining to do....” he hissed. "Ryou jumped out of my car today... and he ran into the park. And do you know why?" Rem shook her head. "He saw some friends of his... that bird, Yami... and the skunk... and do you know who else was there?” he growled in a dangerous tone.

Rem frowned and sighed. "I can imagine..." She replied softly. "A boy came in that day... and wanted to purchase the lion." She said softly. "By law I was required to sell the lion, since there was no lawful purpose for his destruction." She added.

Pegasus snorted. "A fine excuse.” he grunted. "You had better be grateful that I don't sue...." Then he turned and stalked up the stairs to find Ryou and Rex.

Rex had gone immediately to the Bunny Room and pushed the door open with his nose.

"Here bunny, bunny, bunny.....” he sang in a deranged voice. "I hear that someone has been bad...."

Ryou whimpered softly, trying desperately to stretch his leash far enough to hide... but unable, was left wide open for attack. He looked at Rex fearfully, hunching down and curling up tightly, preparing for the worst beating he'd ever suffer through.

Rex chuckled as he spotted Ryou, shaking violently.

"So..... wha'd ya do?” he asked, stalking closer and closer to his prey.

Ryou whimpered and shook all the harder. "Please... I... I'm sorry!” he wailed softly, tears already rolling down his cheeks.

"Not gonna tell me?" Rex asked, then chuckled. "Oh well. Not like it matters. Your Master told me to punish you REAL good...." And he pounced, slamming Ryou into the wall, hitting him harshly all over and covering him with bites and scratches.

"Were you a bad bunny?!” he asked, slamming Ryou into the wall again.

Ryou whimpered and nodded. "B-bad....” he mumbled wincing and looking at Rex blearily. "I'm sorry....” he sniffled.

Rex snickered, then looked around.

"Hey... where are those little rats you hang around with?” he asked, looking for Tuc and Nod.

Ryou sniffled. "They're gone." He sad softly.

Rex blinked, then snickered.

"Gone? What happened?” he asked, fiddling with Ryou's leash.

Ryou sniffled. "I was bad....” he replied softly, trembling from fear and pain.

"So... your master took them away from you, eh?" Rex snickered, and managed to get the leash off of Ryou. "How tragic. Well... if you don't want this day to become even worse... I'd suggest that you run.... now....” he hissed, baring his teeth.

Ryou sniffled, hating this part the most. He got up and darted from the room running through the house looking for the smallest possible nook he could fit into, and escape Rex. He found slight hope, and darted under Pegasus's bed, backing up against the wall, hoping that Rex wouldn't be able to reach him, and sure he couldn't fit under.

Rex ran into the room, having seen Ryou's tail disappear through the door and looked around.

"Here, bunny bunny bunny....” he sang again, sniffing Ryou down. He peered under the bed. "There you are...” he chuckled, and reached under for Ryou's ankle.

Ryou yelped and pulled it back, out of Rex's reach. "I'm s-sorry!” he wailed painfully. "please! I won’t EVER do it again!” he pleaded sobbing. "I'm not a bad bunny!"

Rex snarled and tried to wiggle under the bed after Ryou, but it was a tight fit.

"C'mere ya little rat....” he growled, reaching for Ryou's ankle again. And this time he caught it.

Ryou yelped and struggled to stay under the bed. "No!!!” he wailed digging his claws into the boards beneath the bed, to stay out of Rex's grasp. "Please! Master Pegasus I'm sorry! Please save me!” he wailed painfully.

Rex growled and hauled Ryou out from under the bed, then, with a roar, he sunk his teeth into Ryou's thigh.

Ryou yowled in pain and remained still, knowing struggling would just result in more pain. He sobbed wincing and hiccupping in his utter pain. "Please.... I'm sorry.... I'm sorry...” he mumbled softly, unable to even think through all the pain he had endured in the last half hour.

Rex snickered and released Ryou's leg, only to turn and seize his arm in his teeth. Then he moved back.

"You're lucky you master got rid of your little friends... otherwise it would be them I'd be biting." Rex growled.

Ryou laid still, too weak to even put up a fight anymore, wincing and whimpering with each new deep bite. "Please... I'm sorry....” he whispered as tears rolled down his cheeks. "Please..."

Rex snorted, then seized Ryou's ears in his teeth and dragged him out of Pegasus' bedroom and back into the Bunny Room. Once there, he forced Ryou into his exercise ball and closed it.

"I think you need some practice in using this thing... don't you?" Rex snarled, grinning sadistically.

Ryou sniffled softly, hardly able to move. He looked at Rex and whimpered.

"Please... no... It hurts too much...” he pleaded softly. "I can’t move...."

Rex grinned.

"You think I care?” he hissed, and charged at the ball, getting it rolling.

Ryou whimpered, curling into a tight ball, tumbling helplessly around in the ball, places beginning to smear with his blood as Rex played soccer with his body, trapped in the ball.

He even pushed Ryou down the stairs, the poor bunny groaning pathetically from pain after the ball came to a stop. Dizzy and in an amount of pain he'd never even imagined possible. All he wanted was for it to stop.

Rex chuckled and circled the ball, then charged and sent it flying into the wall with a crash. That brought Pegasus running. He looked down the stairs and winced at another crash that shattered a vase, and a moment later the ball came rolling into view.

"I think your coyote has had enough fun for now, Miss Rem...." Pegasus drawled, eyeing the blood streaked ball and its occupant.

Rem nodded softly and called Rex, quickly snapping his leash on, and leading him from the house, glad to finally escape the glares Pegasus was giving her.

Ryou whimpered pathetically in the ball, watching Pegasus draw nearer. "Please.... d-don’t hurt me anymore... I'm so sorry....” he whimpered softly. "I'm so so so sorry...."

Pegasus opened the ball and looked in at Ryou.

"Oh? Well, not sorry enough...” he snarled, glaring. "If you think your punishment is over, you're DEAD wrong...” he snapped, and reached for Ryou's ears.

Ryou sniffled softly, dangling in Pegasus's grip looking at him fearfully. "Please... I'm still... a good bunny...” he pleaded softly. "d-don’t you.... love me anymore?” he asked fresh tears streaking down his face, mixing with the blood from his many scrapes, bites and cuts.

Pegasus glared at Ryou and didn't answer. He turned and went upstairs, running a bath and dropping Ryou, fully clothed (if you could call his bunny suit that) into the water.

Ryou yelped. It was freezing!

Ryou whimpered and shivered in the water, his teeth chattering. His ears were drooping into his face and he gave Pegasus a pathetic look. "... I still l-love you....” he whispered sniffling softly. It hurt him that his mate would treat him this way. Even though he'd mated with Marik... he'd been mated with Pegasus too... it left him torn and confused... and right now he felt like he wanted to die. The only thing he could think of was how his mate seemingly no longer desired him, and was punishing him for the past, before throwing him out into the cold street.

Pegasus looked down at Ryou.

"That is good to know..." Pegasus said in a low tone. "But I want to know if you still love that lion. You may as well tell me the truth.” he snarled, ripping the torn bunny suit off of Ryou and scrubbing him harshly.

Ryou winced and whimpered as Pegasus scrubbed. ".... I....” he mumbled looking at Pegasus pathetically. "You are my mate...” he whispered softly. "You picked just me... b-because I'm a good bunny....” he winced once more. "Master Pegasus... p-please don’t hurt me anymore... I a-am just yours."

Pegasus frowned and took Ryou from the bath, plopping him onto the floor. This time, there was no towel... no gentle rubbing. He just stood there and glared.

"You're not answering my question.” he said firmly.

Ryou shivered and looked up at Pegasus sniffling. "I did... I am j-just yours!” he argued softly. "N-not f-for the lion..."

Pegasus seized Ryou's ears.

"DO YOU LOVE HIM?!"

Ryou yowled in pain and shook his head. "N-no!” he wailed softly. Part of him burned when he said that, but the other half felt utter relief, because if he could just love Pegasus... then the pain would stop. Pegasus had him first... he picked just him. "I am just yours!” he sniffled softly. "Please don’t hurt me anymore...."

Pegasus snorted and turned, carrying Ryou by the ears from the bathroom, and hurled him onto his bed.

"Yes. You are just mine. And you would do well to remember that.” he snapped, removing his clothes. "I am your master, and your mate. You are to bare a loyalty to no one but me." And he got onto the bed and moved over Ryou. "Is that clear?!" Ryou sniffled and nodded, and Pegasus flipped him over and wrenched his legs apart, grabbing Ryou's ears and jerking his head back. "You. Belong. To ME!” he shouted, and thrust into Ryou, not even trying to ease any pain Ryou might have.

Ryou wailed in pain and sobbed. "P-please master! I'm sorry!” he begged wincing, but making no move to stop his master. Just like before, he found himself unable to fight with his master's wishes. "I'm a good bunny! I d-don’t want anyone but you!” he whimpered clutching the sheets tightly and sobbing into the soft fabric. "N-no one but you! I love you! I l-love only you!"

"And it had better stay that way!" Pegasus shouted, still not bothering to ease the pain of the bunny beneath him. He moved in and out, hard and fast, and continued to pull on Ryou's ears. "I am your Master!” he growled. "And you are my pet!! SAY IT!!!"

Ryou sobbed softly. "You're my master... a-and I'm your pet....” he whimpered sure that he'd die from all the pain that night. Ryou's neck ached, his ears felt like they were about to rip off completely, his body was battered, bruised, bitten and scraped... and Pegasus was ensuring that no part of his body was left unpunished. "J-just your pet."

"That's right....." Pegasus said in a sudden gentle voice, and he slowed down to a stop, holding inside of Ryou. He released the bunny's ears and let Ryou's head drop to the pillow. "Just mine...." And he began to gently pet and stroke Ryou's body. "Good bunny...." And he pressed a kiss to Ryou's cheek. "Have we learned our lesson?"

Ryou sobbed softly, his ears falling limply to the bed. "Master... p-please... I hurt... m-make the hurt go away... I'm so sorry....” he breathed wincing once more, his wounds having begun to bleed a second time. "J-just your bunny... please stop hurting your mate...." Ryou pleaded weakly.

"Shhhh....." Pegasus whispered, pulling out of Ryou. He disappeared and returned a moment later with a first aid kit and a wet towel. He cleaned the blood from Ryou's wounds, then disinfected and bandaged them. Then, he held out a few pills to Ryou with a glass of water. "Here...” he said, softly.

Ryou looked at Pegasus blearily. "what...?” he asked, sniffing pathetically at the pills, but looking longingly at the water.

Pegasus smiled slightly and poked the pills into Ryou's mouth, then gave him the water. "Swallow those.” he ordered.

Ryou wrinkled his nose lightly at the taste of the pills, but drank the water, swallowing the pills as he'd been told. "What... were they?” he asked softly, laying his head back on the bed weakly.

"Some pain killers and another one to help you sleep." Pegasus said, gently petting Ryou. "Relax... And forget the lion... you will never see him again..."

Ryou whimpered softly. "How? A-am I n-never allowed outside again?” he asked pathetically. "But... I like outside... in the sun...."

"We will see..." Pegasus said sternly. "But the only outside you will see will be on the way to and from the car and the back yard. And you will not be seeing that either for the next few days at least... But first thing tomorrow, you are going to the vet."

Ryou whimpered. "why?” he whined softly. "I don’t like the vet...” he added pouting.

"I am getting you checked over, as required by law, you're getting shots, and I'm also getting you microchipped." Pegasus said.

Ryou whimpered. "Please? Can’t I wear a collar instead? They're much prettier... a-and less painful and scary!” he pleaded. "Please, please? I'll be a very good bunny, j-just not a microchip!” he pleaded.

Pegasus chuckled and lay down next to Ryou, hugging him and kissing his forehead.

"Yes, but a collar can come off. And I would hate to loose you. A microchip is the most dependable thing there is. So you are getting Microchipped.” he said.

Ryou pouted. "Please? Not a microchip... y-you'll never need to! I'll never run away again!” he pleaded sniffling. "Not a microchip!"

"What if you get stolen from me?" Pegasus asked. "I am not taking any chance. You are getting micropchipped and that is final.” he said firmly.

Ryou pouted and sniffled. "But it hurts....” he sniffled softly. "I hurt already... no more hurt... please!” he said weakly forcing himself up and crawling off of the bed, tumbling down and whimpering, before dragging himself under the bed to sniffle and hide from the ideas of shots and microchips and the vet.

Pegasus chuckled and chased Ryou under the bed, lying on his stomach next to him.

"Awww....” he crooned and kissed Ryou's cheek. "It will only hurt a little bit for a moment. I'm only making you do it because I care. Now... come back up on the bed with me?"

Ryou pouted. "I don’t wanna go to the vet.... I hate shots... and microchips...” he pouted wincing slightly. "I hate vets... the smell is so strong it makes me dizzy, the needles hurt... and there's so many animals... all bigger than me..."
Pegasus smiled.

"My poor baby...” he crooned, petting Ryou on the head. Then he wrapped his arms around Ryou and pulled him out from under the bed. He picked him up and put Ryou back on the bed and crawled in next to him, pulling the blankets up over them both.

"Go to sleep now, Ryou....” he whispered, and hugged Ryou close.

okay. There have been questions in regards to the fic. I am now going to answer them.

1. How big are the hybrids?

They are normal sized.

2. So how come Rem can pick them up?

Rem is not a small woman. She is quite tall and VERY strong. I thought it was wierd that she could pick them up, but my co-author insisted on it. The woman is an Amazon, okay? lol

3. Do the hybrids have fur or not?!

lol they have fur on their animal parts, like ears and tails. other times we mention them havin fur... ummm well... let's just say it adds to the animal affect.

4. Are we going to make Joey a dog?

NO!!! We are NOT gonna make Joey a dog!!!

5. If Ryou doesn't have the Ring and Yugi doesn't have the Puzzle and there are no yamis or magic or anything, why does Pegasus have the eye?!

Hey now... we never said he DID have the eye. We said he was missing one eye and could read minds. But no, there is no Millennium Item magic in this fic.
