A Guiding Light
Early In the Morning...
Teania and company are packed and ready to go but yet again, 5 of her servants want to stay here in Dali. Even though she was sad, she let them stay here to follow their own paths. They all gave each other hugs and kisses and waved goodbye. This time, Aria and her children came with them, as they rode into the desert. The sun was making its way up, while most of the desert was still covered in shadows, away from the sun. It took them most of the day just traveling through the desert and the rest of the night settling in the new city. Aria felt more free and relaxed as she left Dali. Maybe this is what she needed to do all along. They decided to travel through the next town, until they came to the third town named Aerith.
Inside the Palace...
The Pharaoh woke up early and stood on the balcony overlooking his palace. He watched his people slowly appear out of their homes to began their daily work. A tall woman with long hair and a fairly thin body approached the Pharaoh and put her arms around his waist. “What’s wrong my love?” He was still looking over the balcony not paying much attention to her. She really likes a lot of attention especially from the Pharaoh. It pisses her off when she is ignored. “Hello is anyone there?” He was still looking at the sun, which was slowly rising up and making its Eternal appearance into the sky. “HELLLLOOO????” She hit him in the back, and finally got his attention. “What is it?” She rolled her eyes and walked away. He couldn’t understand why she was so mad, except the fact that she has a bad attitude. The Pharaoh headed back towards the throne as his servants served him wine, and fanned him.
Inside the Village...
Yochiko and company finally returned home from their long journey. There were lots of people waiting for them to see if they brought Akeyana back.
Yochiko told everyone that Akeyana was not with them. She thought that Akeyana would be here waiting on her but, she is still not present. Yochiko still didn’t give up. She told the people that Akeyana is on her way home and they felt happy. Yochiko couldn’t do anything but wait and pray that Akeyana returns soon. Maya looked at the palace sadly, because she knew she would have to go back in there and face the Pharaoh. Maya didn’t want to go back but, she had to see her friends. Yochiko walked up to Maya and gave her a hug. “Thanks for all your help.” Maya smiled because she actually felt important. When she was living in the palace she was just another servant. When she was with Yochiko and friends she was taken care of and she felt happy to be alive. “No problem, I loved helping you guys and I hope that since our journey is over we can still become friends.” Yochiko put her arm around her. “Of course we can. I’ll always be your friend.” Maya almost had tears in her eyes. “Yochiko, could you come back to the palace with me.” Yochiko nodded as the two girls headed towards the palace. When they got in front of the gates. Maya hesitated. “What’s wrong?” Maya sighed and looked up at the large golden gates. “I’m just nervous that’s all.” Yochiko patted Maya on the back, to cheer her up. “I’m right here with you, now lets get you inside the Palace.” The two girls slowly walked through the gates and into the palace.
Inside the Palace...
When they got in, the Pharaoh, his 6 Priests, Nadia, Natasha, and Sarai, atoodtood their staring at her. Nadia, Natasha, and Sarai all ran over and gave Maya a big hug. Yochiko smiled and departed from the palace. As she hugged her friends, she still had her eye on the Pharaoh who seemed to do nothing but, focus his creepy crimson eyes on Maya. She thought that she would be in a lot of trouble because she disobeyed the Pharaoh’s orders. The Pharaoh waved his hand and everyone left the room except Maya. She was afraid of what the Pharaoh might say or do. She thought maybe she would get the same punishment as Akeyana did but not as worse. Maya slowly walked over to the throne and kneeled down. The Pharaoh just stared down at her as she continued to kneel. “I’m really sorry for leaving you my Pharaoh.” The Pharaoh didn’t seem to blink let alone make a movement. “Its okay, just don’t let it happen again.” Maya looked up at him, appalled by his answer. She was surprise and lucky.
Priest Seto, stood by watching and was not at all happy with the Pharaoh’s decision. He felt that she did not deserve any forgiveness, and that she should be punished for going against the Pharaoh’s orders. After Maya departed from the Pharaoh’s presence, Priest Seto walked up to the Pharaoh and bowed down. “My Lord, why must you take this situation so lightly?” The Pharaoh chuckled. “Why must you make a big deal out of the situation?” Priest Seto looked up at the Pharaoh angrily. He then stood up a with a big grin on his face. “You remember that peasant girl you loved?” The Pharaoh arched his eye brow up wondering what Priest Seto was getting at. “I think her name was Akeyana. You punished her for stealing Priest Karim’s millennium scale and you said it yourself that you know she didn’t do it and you would find out who the real criminal was.” The Pharaoh was caught dead in his tracks. He knew Priest Seto was right but, this ordeal was not as serious as the one with Akeyana. “Priest Seto, I already clarified that the problem was solved.” Priest Seto just laughed at him. “It seems it hasn’t been clarified as you say it has. If you want justice for your people then you will do what is fair.” The Pharaoh stood up and walked over to Priest Seto. “I’ve heard enough from you. You are dismissed.” Priest Seto shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Before he left the room he turned around to say one last thing to the Pharaoh. “If you care about your people so much you will do what is right, or you can just lie to your people and let them get away with whatever they want. You make the call.” Priest Seto exited the room.
The Pharaoh sat back down on his throne with his hand on his head because he is really confused. He knew what Priest Seto was saying is true but, he still didn’t want to punish her. In the meantime, he was trying to think of a way to help Maya. He vaguely remembers Akeyana. All he remembers is that she was whipped for a crime she didn’t commit. Now once again, he was caught between an external debate between his people and his servant. Right now, he wished that his father was here to guide him because he seems lost. The Pharaoh stood up and walked up into his chambers. He decided to put on a disguise and go out on the town for a while to think about what he should do.
Inside the Village...
Yochiko walked back home and unpacked all her things. She then got a pale, and walked to the Nile to get water. One her way, she saw Marlene. She walked over to Marlene and to chat with her. “Hi, Marlene.” Marlene was also headed to the Nile to get water. “Hi Yochiko, is there any sign of Akeyana yet?” Yochiko sighed and turned her head away. “No, I haven’t seen her yet but, I know that she will be home soon.” Marlene looked up into the sky, as the clouds passed by the sun. “I hope your right.”
In the Meantime...
The Pharaoh was walking into the village with his brown cloak on still thinking about what to do with Maya’s situation. Should he punish her or should he let it go? As he was walking he saw the large stone by the Nile were he and Akeyana once met. As he watched the sun’s reflection sparkle in the Nile, there were two shadows sitting on the rock. One was the Pharaoh and the other one was Akeyana. He watched her raven hair blowing in the wind, as her pretty smile lit up like a bright light. As he got closer the two shadows faded away. He looked around and they were no were to be found. The Pharaoh sat down on the stone and stared out into the deep blue sea watching the calm waves of the ocean slowly make its surface to the dry sandy land. The Pharaoh sat down alone, thinking to himself about what he should do. He doesn’t even love Maya and he has this sudden urge to save her life but, when it came to Akeyana, he choose his people over her.
He never would of thought that something so small could make a big dienceence and it can mean a lot. He started to recall Akeyana but, his memory was sometimes not very good. As he sat on the stone looking up into the sky, the stars formed an image of what appears to be his father. The Pharaoh then stood up and the image was gone. He needed his father more than anything now. The Pharaoh though that a little small punishment should be best, not anything dramatic. He felt that he would just work her harder than before. That seemed fair enough but, knowing Priest Seto he would want to go through the extremes and make her work out in the hot scorching sun. Justice has been served and now that will be her punishment.
The Pharaoh was satisfied with his decision so as he got up off of the stone. A woman with long black hair, fairly large breasts, firm behind, curvaceous body, and long white wings appeared in the water. She had no clothes on and shst sst stared from a distance. It was like something frofairfairy tale, with a beautiful Angel that had glorious wings that spread out like an eagle’s wings as the feathers moved slowly in the wind. The Pharaoh looked out into the water and couldn’t believe what he saw. His eye’s widened as the Angel’s appearance reflected into his crimson eye’s. “Was this an illusion?” The Pharaoh thought to himself as he carefully stepped into the water, slowly making his way towards this mysterious Angel.
As he got closer and closer, a warm gentle like sensation flowed around her lovely presence. The Pharaoh felt like he was in another world or maybe another dimension. “She is beautiful.” The Pharaoh replied as his eyes continuously stared at the lovely Angel and her seducing figure which lit up her surroundings. “Who are you?” The Pharaoh whispered as the Angel smiled happily and came closer to the Pharaoh. He stood there gazing into her silver eyes as she gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek and disappeared. The night was dark again and the moon’s bright rays peeked from behind the clouds producing light that shined on the Pharaoh’s muscular body. He looked down at his hands and slowly rubbed his fingers across his cheeks, were she planted her kiss. The Pharaoh looked around in amazement. He then started heading out the water and back onto the dry land. Before he headed back to the palace he took one last glance into the ocean and walked away. The Angels appearance came back again and she giggled softly as she disappeared into the night.
