Chapter 12

Several hours later, the drive was over and the people were boarding Pegasus' jet. The pilot stared.

"Mr. Pegasus! What happened?!" He gasped.

"We don't know." Pegasus said. "We found them like this. We're going home to try and deal with the problem." He sighed and turned, looking at the car where Marik refused to let anyone but Rem near him.

The pilot nodded. "Well your bunny is adorable." He said pinching Ryou's little cheek, and Ryou giggled, licking the man's hand.

"yay!" he squeaked, before giggling again and snuggling into Pegasus' chest more.

"I'm sure the stewardess will have a blast."

"I'm sure she will." Pegasus said, watching Zaine carry Bakura up the steps and into the plane. Everyone began buckling the babies in, and soon everyone was ready, and just waiting for Rem and Marik. And they finally appeared, little Marik purring and clinging to Rem, resting his head on her shoulder.

Rem hugged Marik and plopped him down in the seat next to her, far from the window. "Who's my big tough kitty?" she cooed, buckling him in, before beginning on her own seat belt.

Marik made a face and squirmed, trying to get out of the seatbelt.

"Murrr.... no! Up! Up!!" He cried, reaching for Rem. Bakura was playing with his own tail, but Malik was also whining and struggling in the seatbelt.

"No!" He grunted, and finally began to chew on it.

"No no, Malik." Hinaru said, petting the little fennec and smiling at her husband sitting between Malik and Bakura, and Zaine was on Bakura's other side. The bunnies were all in their carriers, and were napping quietly. For the most part.

"Angel is beautiful..." Spunky cooed, nuzzling Angel.

Angel wrinkled her nose slightly. 'No, Angel WAS sleeping...' she mumbled swatting at him lightly with a paw. 'why aren't you sleeping too?'

Rem patted Marik's head. "You just stay there for a few minutes ok Marik sweetie?" She said, giving him his squeaker. "Play with this, and if you're good mama will let you up to play in a little while. Understand?"

Marik gasped and tackled the squeaky, beginning to play with it eagerly. Seeing the jealous look on Kumani's face, Emiko quickly offered her a squeak toy, as well, and gave Ivy a little baggy of grapes. She glanced at Pegasus, who was smiling and sitting between Tachi and Ryou. Rem was by Tachi with Marik on the other side, and Jennette and her four were taking up a row of five. Seto was sitting with Yami, Syrus and Mokuba, and Otogi and Yugi were napping in the back on the bed. The plane began to move.

Ryou peered around Pegasus, playing a half game of peekaboo with Tachi, who giggled and returned the favor.

Yami chirped softly, flapping his little wings and nuzzling into Seto, cooing at him. "warm." he cooed peeping softly, little wings quivering slightly, because he felt a bit cold.

Seto chuckled and opened the side of his trench coat, draping it around Yami. "Better?" He asked, tapping the tip of Yami's nose. Mokuba and Syrus snickered.

Yami chirped softly and laid his head on Seto's side, yawning softly, practically burrowing into him. "thankew" he mumbled softly.

Seto smiled and sighed, leaning back and closing his eyes as the plane picked up speed and lifted off of the ground.

"Mama!!!" Marik gasped, looking up with wide eyes. "Loud!" He clapped his little paws over his ears. "Feel funny!"

Rem hugged Marik and rubbed his back. "Shh it's ok sweetie, just hold still, and it'll be all better in a second." She whispered nuzzling.

Ryou peered out the window, his tail flicking wildly. "YAY!"

Marik hid his face and clung to Rem, whimpering softly. Then he, Bakura, Malik, Tachi, Ivy and Kumani all jumped and gasped, clapping paws down onto their ears as they popped. They all started tugging on the people next to them and chattering in alarmed amazement.

Rem chuckled as the plane leveled out and they were given the green light to take off their safety belts. "Alright sweetie, you can run and play now." She cooed, putting him on the floor. "Be a good boy, and try to have some fun."

Marik squeaked and turned. "Bunny?" He asked, looking for his plushy while Bakura chased Ivy to the back room to play. "Bunny, mama..."

Rem sighed. "You'll have to ask Ryou to share sweetheart. You never apologized to Pegasus, so until you do it's Ryou's bunny." She said calmly. "Though I don’t think Ryou will mind sharing with you."

Marik's eyes widened. "Sorry!" He screamed to the whole plane, and Pegasus, Seto, Emiko and Zaine burst out laughing. Hinaru gave Rem an amused smile.

Rem laughed softly. "Marik sweetie don’t scream. Tell Pegasus in a nice voice you're sorry, then ask Ryou to give your bunny back." She explained patting his head and handing him a piece of jerky.

Marik gasped, snatched the jerky, and hugging it to his chest, took off running. Zaine was laughing so hard he had tears in his eyes now. Malik blinked and looked at Zaine from around Inogawa, blinking and flicking his ears.

Rem chuckled and shook her head, watching as Zaine unbuckled Malik and Bakura, setting them on the floor as well, with their own bits of Jerky. "You two scamps have fun." He said grinning as they scampered off to enjoy their treats.

Ryou gave Pegasus a look. "yum?"

Pegasus smiled and reaching into the sack he had. "Oh.... look what I have for my precious baby bunny..." He cooed, and pulled out a cored apple filled with peanut butter. "Lookie, Ryou!"

Ryou squeaked in delight and began nibbling the apple as soon as Pegasus gave it to him, his face soon getting covered in peanutbutter. "YUM!" he gave Pegasus a gooey sticky grin.

Pegasus laughed again and when Ryou was done, had the stewardess bring him a wet cloth. But when he turned to clean Ryou, he found Tachi had beat him to it. The little black bunny was licking Ryou's face clean, and both bunnies were cooing and giggling. The birds were just... napping.

Ryou giggled and gave Tachi a mucky little kiss on the cheek. "Yum!" he giggled when Tachi wrinkled his nose and began wiping at the goo on his face. "Yum yum!" Ryou squeaked, plopping down on his lil bum and clapping amusedly.

Pegasus smiled and enjoyed watching them, then turned and Rem.

"You're certainly gonna have you hands full with that little stinker of a lion." He said.

"Would you like to trade?" She said chuckling. "I don’t think it's fair you got such a well behaved little angel..." she added when Ryou began licking Tachi's cheek clean and nuzzling him once his own face was clean.

Pegasus laughed. "Ah, I'm sure Marik will settle when you get him home..." He said. "So, ummm... what are we gonna do? I mean, when we get home? We all have jobs..."

Rem looked thoughtful. "Well...we could kennel them at the pet shop...I'm sure the customers would just adore them... plus I could watch them." She said slowly. "Does that sound ok?"

Pegasus cocked his head and thought. "You mean... in one of those interaction pens? Hmmm... yes... yes, that's a wonderful idea. And imagine all the attention they would get. It will be like a little hybrid petting zoo. I'm sure they would love the attention as well. Dr. Inogawa... what do you think?"

"I think it's a fine idea. The attention might be good for Marik, plus it'll keep the little ones entertained while we all do our jobs." He reasoned.

Rem grinned. "Then it's settled." She said with an affirmative nod.

"You sure you can handle them all, honey?" Zaine asked, watching Kumani chase Bakura up past them and towards the cockpit.

"I'll be fine, I have Amelda and Varon helping, Rex will too. It will be fine." She said laughing as the stewardess ushered the two little tykes away from the cockpit. "They're just kids."

The plane ride was relatively peaceful. There were a few diaper changes and a shredded pillow, courtesy of Marik, but finally, the plane landed and everyone disembarked, claimed their luggage and hybrids, and headed home. Pegasus sat in the limo with Rem, Zaine, Inogawa, Hinaru and Seto with Mokuba and Syrus, Yugi and Otogi, and Yami, Ryou, Bakura, Marik and Malik.

"So... who will take who?" He asked. "I of course will take Ryou." He held the bunny in his lap. "Seto will take Yami and Miss Rem will take little Marik. But what about Bakura and Malik?" He looked at the two.

Rem smiled. "Ishizu can take them. It's her brother and her hybrid after all." She reasoned. "I'm sure she'd enjoy spending that time with the babies." She added.

Ryou yawned broadly and curled up in Pegasus' lap. "sweepy..." he mumbled beginning to suck his thumb and look at Pegasus sleepily.

Pegasus smiled. "Okay... umm... who's going to be the one to, um.... deliver them to Ishizu...?" He asked, looking around at everyone.

Rem grinned. "I'll do it, since she's most friendly with me." She said calmly. "After all, who else would?"

Yami squawked loudly. "AHH!" he said pointing to his mouth eagerly, having just woken to discover his hunger. "AHH! AHH!" he squawked loudly, tugging Seto's jacket.

Malik flicked his ears and covered them. "Loud."

Seto sighed and stuffed a puzzle into Yami's little hands. Pegasus snickered at that, then looked at Rem.

"Well, we all wish you luck." He said, smiling down at little Marik who was sucking his tail and beginning to doze off.

Rem nodded. "Alright. Would you mind watching Marik while I do it however?" She said motioning to the snoozing lion. "I don’t want to wake him."

Ryou yawned once more and a soft squeaky sucking noise was heard. He was happily in slumberland, sucking his thumb, his oversized ears flicking occasionally, and his little tail twitching from time to time.

Pegasus glanced down at Ryou.

"Uhhhh...."

"I've got him..." Hinaru said softly, and took Marik, cradling him like a baby, and the lion yawned and cuddled close.

"Want me to come with you?" Zaine asked Rem, glancing at the house and then down at Bakura in his arms.

Rem smiled and nodded. "Alright." She said plucking Malik up and getting out of the car. "Wish us luck." She added walking to the door with Zaine and knocking.

Rem crossed her fingers in hopes things would go over well.

A few minutes later, and the door opened. Ishizu looked like she had just gotten home from work. "Oh, hello, Rem... What... What's... this?" She asked, staring at Malik in Rem's arms with an astonished look.

Rem coughed slightly. "Malik and Bakura." She said slowly. "Something happened during the trip... and well... we were hoping you could take care of them until we find a way to undo whatever it was that happened..." She said softly, offering Malik to her.

Malik grinned cutely. "Sis!" he squeaked beginning to yap eagerly, his tail wagging a mile a minute.

Ishizu's eyes widened, and her mouth opened and closed. She looked pale and shook her head, staring at her brother. Then, with a tiny squeak, she backed away and closed the door on them. Rem and Zaine stood there, awkwardly, then Rem knocked. After a moment, she let herself in, and Zaine followed. They found Ishizu in the kitchen, drinking a bit of gin and tossing back some aspirin, looking stunned.

Rem frowned. "Are you ok Ishizu?" She asked slowly. "If... if you think it's too much I can... find someone else to care for your brother." She said slowly.

"How... is this possible?!" She asked finally, turning and staring at Malik. "What happened?! What happened to my brother?!"

Rem put Malik down, and he scampered over to his sister, yapping eagerly. "Sis! Sis!" he yapped, hopping into her lap and nuzzling her.

"Well... we're not exactly sure. They went for a walk... and when we went looking for them... this is how we found them. It seems they... stumbled into some sort of occult ritual..." She said looking down. "We'll do everything in our power to get them back to normal...."

Ishizu stared down at her brother, then crushed him to her chest and began to sob hysterically. Bakura blinked and cocked his head, squirming out of Zaine's arms and toddling over to Ishizu. He pet her knee.

"No cwy..." He cooed, and Ishizu slowly looked down at him. "Misseshizu... no cwy..." The woman sobbed and the little skunk looked upset. "I dig gwubs! No cwy! I dig gwubs!!!" And this time it was a half laugh and a half sob. The woman pulled Bakura into her lap and hugged both little hybrids, kissing their faces.

"When you're at work, Rem will be keeping them all at the pet shop, so... you can drop them by when you go to work." Zaine said softly, and the woman simply sniffled and nodded, rocking the babies.

Malik licked at Ishizu's tears. "Sissy no cwy...ish ok!" he cooed trying to puff up and look strong. "I still twouble maker!" he said grinning. "Knock down... vase." he said eying one. "Make happy?"

Rem smiled. "It'll be ok Ishizu, I promise...just enjoy this bit of time...Bakura never had a loving family...this might be your chance to impact his life in a positive way..." she added softly.

Ishizu wiped at her tears and nodded. "Yes... I'll do my best..." She said, looking down at the babies.

"Misseshizu... hungwy...." Bakura sniffled. Ishizu blinked and looked up at Rem.

"What do I feed them?" She asked.

Rem smiled. "They're just little babies Ishizu, just feed them what you think will help them be healthy. fruit, meat, grubs...it's up to you. They love you."

Malik nodded yapping. "Wuv you!" he cooed nuzzling into her and sighing cutely. "I wuv sis!"

Ishizu gave a laughing sob again, tears still streaming down her face as she hugged both Malik and Bakura tightly.

"Oh you little dears... you precious little things... I love you too... Oh babies... I love you too..." They both licked her tears away and nuzzled her and hugged her, and the woman finally seemed to calm down. "Oh Malik... Bakura... you sweethearts..."

Malik's tail began wagging once more, his little diapered butt wiggling with the force of his wagging. "Play?" he asked hopefully. "Play!"

Rem smiled. "It'll be ok miss Ishizu...I promise. " She said backing to the door, Zaine with her. "Lets go dear... leave her to take care of the babies." She whispered softly.
And the pair quickly slipped out of the house and scurried back to the car.

"So?" Seto asked as soon as they got in. "How'd she take it?"

Rem made a face. "Well... better than expected, but she still took it a bit hard..." She said shaking her head. "Certainly not as well as Pegasus." She said noticing Ryou had woken from his nap and was eagerly hopping in Pegasus' lap, licking his cheek when he jumped high enough to do so.

Pegasus was grinning as Ryou did this, and laughing. "Well, Miss Rem... My driver will be taking Drs. Inogawa and Hinaru home first... Zaine, will you be staying with Rem tonight to help with that little... stinker." Pegasus said, wrinkling his nose as the smell of a dirty diaper became apparent.

Ryou squeaked and whined loudly. "STINKY!" he whined loudly clapping both hands over his nose, his ears bristling slightly. "EW!"

Everyone chuckled at that, and Hinaru looked down at the little sleeping lion in her arms.

"Poor little dear..." She said softly as Marik's little paw groped about. "Where's his bunny?"

Ryou blinked and pulled the bunny out from behind him. "Bunny toy!" he said proudly, handing it to her, before clapping his hands back over his nose. "STINKY!" he grumbled, making the most amusing 'ick' face.

Hinaru smiled and took the toy. "thank you, Ryou." She said, placing the bunny toy next to Marik's paw, and he quicly grabbed it and cuddled it close with a happy coo and purr. Then, the limo stopped and she transferred Marik into Rem's arms.

"Hideo and I will check on them often." She said to Rem, and she and Inogawa got out of the car and entered their home with their bags. The limo continued to Rem's small house.

Rem smiled and got out of the car, Zaine grabbing their bags. "If you don’t mind watching Marik tomorrow Pegasus, while I clean up an area for the babies at the shop?" She said smiling. "I'd be more than happy to take the babies the day after though... one day's more than enough time to get a place for them set up." she explained

Pegasus nodded. "Of course. Good night." He said, watching the pair go to the front door and carry the little lion in. Pegasus sighed and looked at Seto, who also sighed.

"What do we do now?" Pegasus murmured.

"Well... I have a couple of employees who dabble around in... magic." Seto said, frowning. "I'll ask them to look into it..."

Ryou hopped in Pegasus' lap again. "mickey!" he squeaked eagerly. "Annose!"

Pegasus blinked. "Huh?"

"What did he say?" Seto asked.

Ryou wrinkled his nose and tried again. "Mikeydo! Annose! puppy!" he tugged his ears, and made a frustrated look. "PUPPY!"

"Ummm... the employees I mentioned..." Seto said slowly. "Are twin jackals named Mikado and Ahmose."

"Ah..." Pegasus nodded. "I see..." Then he chuckled. "I can't wait to see that bouncer's reaction to Ryou."

Ryou's eyes widened and he gave a squeal of delight. "Con!" he squeaked clapping. "Fun! Play now?" he asked hopefully. "Want play!"

"No sweetie." Pegasus said softly, petting Ryou. "Home now. Then bath time, then bed." Seto looked down at his own little baby, and glanced at Mokuba and Syrus, fast asleep with Yugi and Otogi, who were the next stop.

Yami turned the pouty eyes on Seto again. "ahh..." he whimpered, pointing to his mouth and sniffling, tears welling up in his eyes from being ignored. "Hungie..."

"As soon as we get home, Yami." Seto said, petting Yami's head. They dropped off Yugi and Otogi, and then headed for Seto's house. Finally arriving, Seto bid goodbye to Pegasus and Ryou, and sent Mokuba and Syrus to bed while taking Yami straight to the kitchen.

Ryou whimpered softly, the company depleted. "P-play..." he pouted softly, large ears drooping into his face. He sniffled and gave Pegasus a heartbroken look. "Not like... alone..."

"You still have the bunnies, Ryou." Pegasus said, pointing to the carriers. "They will play with you."

Ryou sniffled. "Mark..." he pouted softly, turning to look at Pegasus with heartbreaking sad eyes, which were welling over with tears, that slid down his cute little face.

Pegasus sighed and hugged Ryou, and was still hugging him when they got home. Pegasus released all the bunnies and they followed him up to the bunny room and all hopped into the nesting box, beginning to make a nest. "Here you are baby..." He said, setting Ryou down in the box with the bunnies.

Ryou wrinkled his nose and hopped to the door of his cage, stumbling slightly over himself, before trying to climb out. "nooo!!" he whined.

"It's time to sleep, baby." Pegasus said, retreiving the little lion plushy and giving it to Ryou. "Here you go. Sleep with your bunny friends." He removed Ryou's diaper. "Remember where the litter box is?"

Ryou nodded. 'I know where it is! I'm perfectly capable of using it too!' Ryou thought wrinkling his nose. "Potty box." he said trying to squirm out of the cage once more. "Play!"

"No baby. Sleep. But I'm sure some of your friends will play with you. But Master is sleepy..." And he yawned and stretched dramatically.

Ryou wrinkled his nose. "Nooo! Want play...please?" he said giving Pegasus the cutest look he could muster. "Little play?"

Pegasus sighed. "Play with your friends, baby. Or your toys over there... Master is going to bed..." And he stood and walked out of the room, turning off the light and closing the door.

Ryou whined softly and tried to climb out of his box once more, despite the lights being off. "W-want play..." he whined clawing at the sides of the plastic, trying to hoist himself up high enough to climb out.

Tuc and Nod hopped over, nuzzling and licking Ryou.

'Come on... time to sleep...' Tuc said.

Ryou dropped to the bedding and blinked. "Not sleepy..." he pouted wrinkling his nose and giving Tuc a sad look. "Play?"

Tuc sighed. 'I'm sleepy.' He said, and looked back. 'But Hunter and Scamp will play.' And Hunter and Scamp ran over and eagerly tackled Ryou.

Ryou squeaked eagerly and rolled around in the bedding with them, scampering around until finally the little tyke was worn out. He panted softly, hopping to the finished nest the bunnies had made and curled up inside. "Sleepy..." he mumbled licking the nearest bunny, Tuc.

Tuc turned and began to groom Ryou. 'Sleep tight, little one...' he crooned, and slowly all the bunnies fell asleep, Ryou curled up among them...

First thing in the morning, Pegasus leapt out of bed and ran to the Bunny Room, Precious on his heels. He had to check on his precious baby bunny before he did anything else. He also had to alert his employees to the arrival of several infant hybrids today. Because not only was Marik being brought over, but so were Yami, Malik and Bakura. And Emiko would be bringing Tachi, Kumani and Ivy over a bit later in the morning.

Ryou was in his cage grooming his ears cutely, shaking his head every so often, his hair and ears flopping in every direction. He squeaked in joy when he saw his precious master. "YAY!" he said hopping to the door of his cage, hopping and trying to climb out. "Master!"

"Good morning, baby." Pegasus said, opening the cage and gathering the tiny bunny up into his arms. "Ready for breakfast?" He asked, watching all the bunnies pour out of the cage and head for the kitchen, knowing that dishes would be filled for them.

"I'm taking the day off so I can be with you." Pegasus told Ryou. "And your friends are coming over, too. Marik, and Malik, and Yami, and Bakura... And later, Tachi!!"

Ryou licked Pegasus' cheek and sighed happily. "Master master master master~" he sang cutely. "Yummy?"

"Yes, it's time for yummy." He said. "Let's go get you fed and take you and your friends out to the backyard."

Ryou clapped and nuzzled Pegasus. "yummy yummy." he said softly tail flicking quickly in his eagerness. "cookie?"

Pegasus laughed. "No, no cookie. How about oatmeal with fruit?" He asked, petting Ryou's little naked tush.

Ryou wrinkled his nose and stuck out his tongue cutely. "Yucky!"

The man laughed again. "Oh, sweetie... I'll put some sugar and cream in it..." He said in a tempting tone.

Ryou made another ick face. "Yucky! crunchy! Want crunchy!" he squeaked softly. "Crunchy yummies!"

"Okay... cereal? Cheerios?" Pegasus asked, walking into the kitchen while the cook and maids set down bowls for the bunnies.

Ryou grinned broadly. 'Cucumber on toast.'

Pegasus sighed and looked at the maids and chef, who were staring at Ryou.

"There has been an... accident. Ryou has been... well... here he is." He held Ryou out, and the employees stared. "The same thing has happened to Marik, Bakura, Malik, Yami and some other hybrids we met up with... they will all be coming here today. So for now, you are excused from your usual duties. Your priorities are the babies. Is that clear?"

The maids and chef nodded. "Yes of course sir." They said bowing.

Ryou giggled gleefully and clapped. "good bunny!" he said loudly kicking his feet and squirming in Pegasus' hands. "GOOD!"

Pegasus and the maids laughed. "Now... My baby bunny wants breakfast! And he wants something crunchy!!! So make with the crunchy!!!" And the man sat down on a stool and held Ryou on his knee.

Ryou giggled and clapped more. "GOOD!" he squealed before beginning to play with his toes. "Master master master master~~ Make crunchy yummmmmmy!" he sang while becoming enthralled with the fact he had toes.

Pegasus smiled and watched the chef work, and soon enough he set Ryou's breakfast before him; frosted flakes with cream, blueberries, strawberries, peaches and bananas, and toast with rasberry preserves.

Ryou squeaked eagerly and dug in, making a horrible mess, but having fun. "Crunchy yummy! YUM!"

Pegasus smiled and tried to wipe Ryou's face between each fistful of food, but as soon as Ryou was done, Pegasus took one look at the clock and plopped Ryou into the kitchen sink, beginning to give him a quick bath. But he was only half done when the doorbell rang...

Ryou clapped his hands eagerly, splashing the water slightly. "DING!"

Pegasus laughed and looked at the maid. "Here, you take over." He said to her, and ran from the kitchen and to the door.

Rem smiled when Pegasus answered. "Good morning, I brought Marik." She said smiling brightly, putting the little lion down, who eagerly trotted into Pegasus' house. "he's already been fed, and I'll be back to get him as soon as I can." She added quickly, turning before Pegasus could object or stall her further. She had a lot to do, and very little time to do it.

Pegasus smiled, watching Marik drag his bunny along with him.

"Miss Rem! What should I give him for lunch? Some milk and maybe some of those canned sausages or should I give him some fresh meat?" He called as Rem got into her car.

"Fresh meat! Something from the beef area!" She said climbing in and motoring off.

Ryou tugged Pegasus' pants leg, fully dried and completely nude and diaperless. "Master! Up!"

Pegasus smiled down at Ryou. "Your friend is here, Ryou. The kitty. Marik!" He said. "But he ran off... can you find him?" Pegasus asked, kneeling down. "With your nose?" He tapped Ryou's nose and smiled as Tuc hopped over and nuzzled Ryou.

'Yes. Let's use our nose to find Lunkhead, Ryou.' He said.

Ryou blinked confusedly. "Nakey?"

"Yes, Ryou. Nakey is okay. Because we're going to play outside!" Pegasus said. "I'm going to go get dressed. You find Kitty, okay?"

Ryou blinked and nodded eagerly. "OUTSIE!" he squealed and hopped eagerly up and down. He gave Tuc a curious look and wiggled his ears. "What kitty stink?"

'Remember how he smells?' Tuc asked. 'Smell the floor until you find his smell. Tell me when you think you found it, and I'll smell and tell you if you're right'

Ryou gave Tuc a big lick, knocking the poor bunny to his side from the eager force of it. "Okie daddy." he cooed, before planting his nose to the floor and sniffing around.

Tuc stared, eyes wide. Nod hopped in at that moment, and Tuc turned and stared. 'He... he called me... daddy....' He gasped, stunned.

Nod cooed and nuzzled him. 'you ARE his daddy in a way Tuc, besides he's just a baby, he probably knows no better...you're a bunny, he's a bunny.' she reasoned softly. 'Doesn't it make you happy to be his dad?'

Tuc nodded, blushing 'He's a BIG baby though... he's twice the size of Precious!!!'

Nod chittered a laugh. 'But he's the sweetest one. Besides, as far as we've seen he's got no other family... it's an honor.'

Tuc nodded, and watched Ryou. 'He's trying to pick up Lunkhead's scent. He's around somewhere...'

Ryou blinked after a moment, flicking his ears in confusion. "Kitty stink?" he asked softly.

Tuc turned and hopped over. 'Did you find it?' He asked, and sniffed at the spot Ryou was sniffing. 'No, that's Hunter. But you're close; Hunter is part kitty... try again, you're doing very well.'

Ryou giggled and hopped up and down in place for a moment, before licking Tuc again. "Okie daddy." he cooed once again beginning to sniff around.

Nod chuckled and hopped after Tuc, who was slowly following Ryou. 'Such a proud father.'

'Yeah, yeah...' Tuc said, amused. He turned and licked Nod's cheek, and both sat down and watched Ryou.

Ryou blinked again. "Kitty?" he asked, sitting up and wrinkling his nose. "Ick."

Tuc hopped over and sniffed. 'Very good. That's him. Now, can you find out where he went?' He asked Ryou, nuzzling him in praise.

Ryou squeaked proudly and hopped along, sniffing the ground, his little tail in the air as he went. "Kitty...kitty...stinky kitty..." he cooed hopping around, following Marik's scent.

Tuc snickered and looked at Nod. 'Heh... Stinky kitty....' He said, amused.

Ryou whimpered softly, ears tilting back. "No... stinky kitty?"

'What?' Tuc asked. 'What about the kitty?'

Ryou shook his head. "No kitty! No stinky!"

'His scent is gone?' Tuc asked, cocking his head.

Ryou nodded. "No stinky!"

Tuc frowned and sniffed around.

Ryou sniffled. "KITTY!" he wailed starting to cry. "NO KITTY! WAHHHHHHHH!" he began sobbing loudly, wanting to find the kitty.

Tuc sighed. 'Ryou, calm down. just look around and try to find it again.' he said. 'I'll help.' and he began sniffing around.

Ryou sniffled softly and nodded slowly, wiping away his large tears and sniffing around again. "Kitty?! Kitty play! Bunny want play!" he called, while sniffing.

Suddenly, a nearby planter rustled, and a tiny little growl was heard. Tuc and Nod's ears shot up.

Ryou blinked and grinned eagerly. "Kitty?" he called, hopping towards the planter "kitty kitty?"

"MROOWL!!!" Marik roared, and flew out of the planter, awkwardly tackling Ryou. The pair tumbled over and finally landed with Ryou sitting on Marik's back.

Ryou blinked. "KITTY! RAWR!" he squealed gleefully, licking Marik's back. "Kitty pretty..." he cooed nuzzling him.

"Murrrr...”

Marik pouted, and sat up, Ryou toppling off of his back. Then he turned and trotted back to the planter, pulling his plushy out. He sat down and hugged it, and stared at Ryou.

Ryou blinked and scratched his ears, looking at Marik. "hiya."

"Hi." Marik said softly, staring at Ryou.

Ryou stared back for a moment. "What look at?" he asked confused.

"... Bunny." Marik said softly, hugging his plushy and beginning to suck the tip of his tail.

Ryou blinked softly, looking over his shoulder at Tuc and Nod. "Bunny? mommy an daddy." he said softly. "Kitty pretty..."

Marik blinked, then smiled slightly.

"Bunny pretty, too..." He said. "My bunny. My mate." And he smiled broadly at Ryou, tail lashing. He growled and glared at his thrashing tail, dropped the bunny and began going after the tuft.

Ryou blinked and flicked his ears. "Mate?" he said confusedly. "Play mate."

Marik blinked and cocked his head. "Okay!" He chirped happily.

Ryou giggled. "why mate?" he asked hopping closer and sniffing Marik. "Pretty kitty no mate?"

"My mate!" Marik sang, glomping Ryou.

Ryou squeaked loudly. "Nooo! little little!" He squeaked out. "Little little no mate! kitty not bunny!"

Marik blinked. "Huh?" He asked, cocking his head and an ear.

Ryou blinked. "Kitty need kitty? ..." He said confusedly. "Kitty...not bunny? Bunny need bunny?" he mewled confusedly. "Mate same?"

Marik blinked. "I dunno." He said, picking up his plushy again and sucking his tail.

Ryou blinked confusedly. "...mommy and daddy bunny mate." He said looking at them. "Kitty no want bunny mate? Kitty want...kitty mate?"

Marik blinked and shrugged. "Ryou." Pegasus called, walking in. "It doesn't matter what you are. Anyone who loves each other can be mates." He smiled. "Hello Marik."

"... Hi." Came the timid answer.

Ryou grinned broadly. "MASTER!" he squealed delightly, trampling Marik to hop up and down at Pegasus' feet. "Bunny! UP UP!"

Pegasus laughed and scooped up both Ryou AND Marik as there was a knock on the door. Pegasus went to see who it was. The butler opened it, and there was Ishizu, Malik and Bakura in her arms, playing with each other's tails.

She smiled and put the two eager children down. "Thank Pegasus very much for caring for these two little ones today." She said kindly. "I'll be back soon to pick them up...I don’t have much at work to do." She said bowing.

Pegasus smiled. "Oh, it's quite alright... I'm so sorry I had to bring you back two little ones within three days as opposed to a pair of adolescents in three weeks with lots of gifts for you from Europe!!!"

Malik yapped loudly, beginning to dart through the house, exploring.

Ryou squeaked. "KITTY!" he mewled, looking at Bakura. "Ohhh VERY pretty kitty!"

Bakura glared at Ryou. "NO KITTY!!! Skunk!" He declared, and promtly trotted off on all fours, tail held high. Pegasus chuckled and looked at Ishizu. "I'll take care of them. Have a good day." He said.

She smiled and nodded, turning and heading off on her way. Ryou cooed at Bakura. "pretty pretty pretty kitty."

Pegasus laughed and closed the door. "No Ryou. Skunk." He said, and walked out towards the back yard. "Malik! Bakura! Come on, babies!" Malik came loping in, Spunky and Scamp flanking him, and the other bunnies followed. "Time to go outside!" He sang.

Ryou clapped his hands. "YAY!" he squeaked, as Pegasus finally put him down outside. He pranced along the soft dirt path, heading straight for his personal garden. "Yummies..." he squeaked softly, hopping in and pulling up the first plant he laid eyes on. A carrot.

The bunnies were off faster than Pegasus could beleive it. They scattered, chasing each other, frolicking, and playing, Bushou waddling towards the garden. Marik looked around, clutching his plushy, then headed for the large tree in the middle of the yard. Malik took off running with Scamp, and Bakura headed for the shrubs, beginning to dig for grubs with Spunky.

Angel however hopped slowly on the grass, nibbling at clover occasionally, looking for possible mates among other wildlife-bunnies. 'Hmm...'

Pegasus snickered and nudged her with his toe. "I see you lookin' around..." He said. "Sorry Angel. No wild bunnies in THIS yard!"

Angel wrinkled her nose. 'Then I'll just leave this yard to find them.' She said calmly, flicking her ears. 'If a man won’t come to me, I'll go to him.'

Pegasus of course didn't understand her. But he knelt and stroked her. "Such a pretty little thing... Now that Ryou can't pamper you... I hope you'll let me... the gay man in me would just LOVE to groom you up into a show bunny..."

Angel's eyes widened and she squeaked delightedly. 'Well get to it!' She said eagerly, hopping into his arms.

Pegasus blinked, then laughed. "Oh, sweetie! I didn't mean now! I'm sorry, sweetie..." He kissed the top of her head. "Right now you need to play. Tonight before bed I will groom you. But why don't you go play with your brothers and sisters?"

Angel winkled her nose. 'You horrible tease! I wanted to be groomed now! Don’t say you want to groom me, unless you mean it!' she huffed and thumped her foot at him furiously.

"Oh, you'll get over--"

"MAAOOOOO!!!" Came a sudden cry, cutting Pegasus off. Marik had gotten stuck in the tree, and couldn't get down. Pegasus ran off to rescue him.

Ryou came running too, tripping over the carrot he'd began to drag with him. He looked up the tree just as Pegasus was getting Marik down. "Kitty...not smart." he giggled clapping and beginning to nibble his carrot. "No climb tree!"

Pegasus chuckled and set Marik down. The lion immediately pounced his plushy and watched Scamp and Malik chase each other through a series of burrows in the far side of the yard, while Bakura stuffed a grub into Spunky's mouth, startling him. Bushou was happily eating a tomato, and Skitter hung from a branch of a small tree, grooming herself and watching everyone. Sugar was perched nearby, also watching, and Dust was on a higher branch, preening. Xanga and Hunter were wrestling, Precious and Trigger were sunning on rocks by the pond where Sparkle was swimming. Tuc and Nod were lounging in a soft bed of clover, watching all their children. Pegasus then turned to locate Angel, just to make sure he knew where everyone was.

Angel was digging a burrow to get out of the yard. 'I bet the boy bunnies here have REAL class...'

Ryou licked Marik's cheek. "Silly kitty!"

Pegasus sighed and walked over, scooping Angel up. "Don't bother." He said. "You won't be able to dig under the wall. There's a wire fence under it I put there to keep Ryou and Malik from burrowing out of the yard when they lived here. That fence also keeps other rabbits out. I don't want ANY one to ruin the garden I had made especially for Ryou and you all..." He kissed the top of her head. "You're getting yourself dirty, too."

Amgel pouted, ears drooping. 'this blows.'

"Now go play." Pegasus said, setting her down and looking around to make sure that everyone was in sight and doing okay. But a moment later, the backdoor opened, and Seto emerged, carrying Yami in a pair of blue shorts over a diaper, and a cut up T-shirt to fit around his wings.

Yami sniffled softly, pouting at Seto. He made a soft whimpering sound, tears welling in his eyes. "Want!" he sniffled brokenly shoving the toy he'd been trying to solve since they'd left Scotland. "WANT!" he whimpered, starting to cry. He desperately wanted the treat inside... but he just couldn't solve the puzzle…

Seto sighed and smiled. "Okay." He said, and knelt. He set Yami down and took the toy. "Now watch..." He began to fiddle around with it, the toy jingling and clicking and making all sorts of delightful noises that would please a bird. And finally, something popped open and a little chocolate cherry popped out. "There you go!" Seto said, handing Yami the treat.

Yami chirped and took the treat, cramming it into his mouth and chewing gratefully. He nuzzled Seto and peeped him a soft happy little baby-bird song.

Seto smiled and pulled something out of his pocket; another puzzle. Smaller and full of cheerios, and much MUCH easier. "Here... you should be fine with this one." He said, and stood to greet Pegasus, handing him a bag. "Here. There are more puzzles in here, and his lunch is in a little tupperware, okay?" Pegasus raised his eyebrow.

"Anal, much?" Pegasus asked, and Seto gave him a look.

"Shut up. He's not a mammal. He's a bird. He has different needs."

Yami giggled and did something he'd yet to do before. "Shut up!" he mimiced Seto's voice, clapping his hands, quite proud to have honored his beloved owner with such a hard trick!

Seto froze. Did Yami just... mimic him? Like Jennette said he could? Oh fuck...

Yami grinned at Seto. "Shut up! Shut up shut up shut up!" he mimicked, giggling. He wanted praise, attention, and love for his wonderful trick. "SHUT UP!"

Seto turned and frowned. "Yami, no. Don't do that." He scolded.

Yami blinked, and in an instant his giggles were gone replaced with sniffles, as tears welled in large, HURT eyes. He'd worked so HARD to honor his beloved master with that trick....

Seto winced and knelt. "Yami... it's not nice to say 'shut up' okay? Let's try to say OTHER things instead, okay? Hmm? C'mere..." The man hugged the little bird, petting his pin feather wings. "Oh, look! Your feathers are starting to come out of their sheathes!" He announced, scraping away at the flakey coating and freeing the bright plumage.

Yami's sniffles died down into soft cooes of approval. Every bird loved being preened by their masters, and he took special pride in being groomed by Seto. It made him feel special and wanted... something he didn't always feel, when the man worked so hard on the computer and just gave him puzzles that were too hard to solve.

He chirped softly, spreading his little wing for Seto to continue to groom and preen.

Seto sighed and smiled, slowly standing. He knew Yami wanted attention. "I have to go to work, Yami." He said softly, petting Yami's hair. "How about this... I'll see about coming home early and we'll have dinner and play and I'll help you with your wings and tail, okay?"

Yami blinked and pouted. "No go..." He sniffled. "Like Seto...'shut up!' Like SETO!" he whined, latching onto Seto's leg tightly, wrapping his wings around him for extra grip.

Seto chuckled. "Can we try to be like Seto in another way? Why don't you practice, and you can surprise me when I come get you this afternoon, hmm?" He asked, trying to keep their parting as tearless as possible.

Yami sniffled, giving Seto a hurt glare. "Shut up! NO GO! TAKE ME!"

"I can't Yami. Stay and play with your friends. And look!" He pointed. "There's Dust!!" The bunny chirped and turned upon hearing his name.

Yami glared. "No dumb." he grumbled. "Take Me! Me go!"

Seto sighed. "I know you're not dumb, Yami. But I can't take you to the office with me. I have a last minute meeting today. I've taken you to a meeting before and you went out of your way to be a pain. And now you're little and you need a lot of attention and... I just can't give it to you at the office." He knelt again, placing gentle hands on the little boy's shoulder. "I promise... I'll make up for it when I come get you, okay?"

Yami sniffled, and gave him a pathetic heartbroken look, letting go of Seto's leg. "No like me..." he mumbled looking down. "Hate bird..."

"No, Yami... You're my special little bird and I love you very much." Seto said with a smile. "But everyone has to leave the people they love when they go to work. Pegasus will be leaving Ryou with Rem when he has to go to work. Rem had to go to work and she had to leave Marik." He pointed at the lion, then to Bakura and Malik. "Ishizu loves Malik and Bakura very much but she had to leave them to go to work. And later, Ivy and Kumani and Tachi will be here while Emiko goes to work... understand? We go to work so that we can make money to keep the ones we love healthy and safe and happy. But we have to leave them for a while to do that."

Yami frowned and sniffled. "Not like bird...Always work, no play! No play...work work...like rat better...Seto...not want bird..." he mumbled drooping slightly. "Hate rat...Seto love rat, not bird..."

Seto sighed. "Yami, that's not true." He said. "You are MY bird, and I love you. Syrus is MOKUBA's rat, eh, Meerkat... And Mokuba loves Syrus. I didn't even want to KEEP Syrus at first. But Mokuba made me. YOU are MY hybrid. And I don't want anyone but you." and he kissed Yami's forehead.

Yami perked up a little and nuzzled Seto. "okie...wait for Seto..." he mumbled giving Seto a hopeful look. "Seto come soon?"

Seto smiled and nodded. "A while after lunch, Yami." He said, petting little Yami's head. "You be a good boy and play nice, okay?" He asked, watching little Ryou hop closer.

Yami jammed his thumb into his mouth and nodded. "Okie..." he said as Ryou practically tackled Seto.

"YAY! PLAY!" he squealed licking Seto's face. "Come to play!"

Seto sighed. "No, Ryou. Yami's here to play. I'm going to work." He detached the bunny from his leg.

Ryou blinked and latched back on giggling. "YAY!"

Seto groaned, and Pegasus chuckled, pulling Ryou off and picking him up, tickling him. "Stop that, silly boy...."

Ryou licked Pegasus' cheek. "Master play?" he cooed his little tail twitching rapidly. "Play baby bunny?"

Pegasus laughed and turned Ryou upside down, tickling him. "I've got my baby bunny!" He sang as Seto snuck off. "I've got him!!!" He blew on Ryou's tummy and tickled him more. "I got him I got him I got him!!!!"

Ryou squealed and squirmed, giggling up a storm. "EEEK! HELP! TICKLE TICKLE HELP!" he squealed, yelping as Pegasus raspberried his tummy. "AIEEE!"

Pegasus laughed and turned Ryou right side up, and tossed him up into the air, laughing with the bunny while Yami toddled off. "Whose my precious baby bunny?!" Pegasus cooed, tossing Ryou up again before bringing the naked little chibbi bunny down for a barrage of kisses.

Ryou giggled and licked at Pegasus whenever his face was near enough. Kissing and licking his loving master. "YAY!" he squeaked latching onto him in a hug. "YAY PLAY!" he giggled nuzzling his master.

Pegasus laughed and dropped to all fours, putting Ryou down and wrestling with him. The back door opened and Emiko stepped out with the maid, who sighed. "I do beleive that Master Pegasus will have grass stains...." She said to Emiko with a smile and a sparkle in her eye.

Ryou squealed loudly and scampered away, only to dart back towards Pegasus and lick at him in play.

Emiko giggled softly, putting her hybrids down. "Pegasus?" she called softly, watching Tachi make a beeline for Ryou.

Pegasus clumsily chased Ryou, but stopped and turned. He blushed and quickly got to his feet, brushing himself off and walking over. "Good Morning Miss Emiko." He said with a smile, watching Tachi tackle Ryou to the ground in play, tail flicking delightedly.

She chuckled softly, bowing. "It seems you're completely devoted to that little fluffball." She teased smiling. "I'm extremely thankful for you watching the little ones today." She added.

Ryou squeaked and sniffed at Tachi curiously. "...bunny?"

"Bunny!" Tachi replied, and licked Ryou's face, squeaking happily. Marik peered out at them from behind a tree, pouting and hugging his plushy.

"No..." He mumbled. "MY mate..."

"It's not a problem." Pegasus said with a smile. "They're all so dear... They've stolen my heart."

Emiko chuckled softly. "That's how pets become best friends...you get them young...and they grow up, and grow onto you." She said watching Ivy wander around, sniffing things.

Ryou giggled loudly and pressed his lips to Tachi's in a childish kiss. "BUNNY!"

Marik's eyes widened, and then he sniffled and slunk off to hide in some bushes in the far corner of the yard. Pegasus smiled and pet Kumani in Emiko's arms.

"They're all so charming and precious..." He said. "How did you do with them last night?"

"As well as could be expected with so many young ones." She said softly, putting Kumani down. "They kept me up for a while, but wore out fast enough."

Pegasus nodded. "I put Ryou down with all his bunnies. It was so late, but he was wide awake and wanted to play... but I was just so tired..." He said, watching Kumani.

Emiko nodded. "I know the feeling...it's a bit of a shock...but they're so cute..." She laughed loudly when Tachi kissed Ryou and the little pale bunny blushed. "Aww....young little crushes...your poor bunny."

Pegasus frowned. "actually... I'm thinking more about the poor lion. He still calls Ryou his mate..." He looked around the yard. "Where'd he go?"

Emiko blinked. "I haven't seen him. Tachi sweetie, why don’t you track down the lion for me? You've got the best nose of all." she said grinning as Tachi giggled and saluted her in play, before hopping around, sniffing the trail of Marik.

Ryou hopped after giggling and sniffing too, hoping to learn a thing or two from Tachi. "Daddy I find kitty!" He chirped as he sniffed.

Tuc nodded and watched Ryou, loathe to leave his cozy place among the clover with his mate. Pegasus also watched.

Tachi hopped into the bush Marik had been sulking in, pouncing the poor lion, followed by Ryou. "FOUND KITTY!" he called out.

"MAO!!" Marik roared, and pounced Tachi angrily, clawing at him with claws that Rem had filed down when she caught him clawing her sofa.

Ryou squeaked and bit Marik, to defend his bunny friend. "NO! BAD KITTY! BAD!"

Emiko hurried over pulling Tachi away and cradling the terrified bunny. "Shh it's ok..." She cooed softly rocking him and checking for injuries.

Ryou glared at Marik. "Bad kitty no hurt! BAD!"

Pegasus knelt and picked Marik up, giving him a swat to his bottom. "NO!!" He shouted. "NO!!! It's time-out for you!!!" And he turned and marched inside, taking Marik to what had once been Malik's cage, for a very short time. It was a large enclosure full of sand and scrub brush, a small watering hole and a cave to hide in. Pegasus plopped Marik into the sand and locked the door, leaving the room. Marik turned and began mewling and pawing at the wall, crying. He hated to be alone...

"Meeeewwll.... Maoooo.... mreoooowww...." He cried, even more upset without his plushy, which was still in the shrubs he had been hiding in.

"I'm so sorry." Pegasus said upon returning to Emiko. "Is Tachi okay?"

Emiko nodded kissing a few scrapes. "Yes, thank goodness." She said putting the shaken bunny down. "He's just frightened... he's lucky that lion's claws were filed... He'd have been mauled otherwise..."

Ryou licked Tachi's cheek and picked up the bunny plushy in his teeth, wiggling his ears. "Bunny!"

Pegasus sighed and frowned. "I wonder what made Marik attack?" He mused. "He's not usually so... violent. He won't attack unless provoked..."

Ryou wrinkled his nose. "Bad kitty bad anger no yucky yuck!" he explained, in his own cute little way.

"...... what?" Pegasus finally managed to blurt, raising an eyebrow at Ryou. He had NO clue what that meant... "ahhh... well, I'll take care of them, Miss Emiko." He said, turning to the woman.

Emiko smiled and nodded. "I'll be back after work for them... thanks again." She said softly, before turning to exit.

Ryou hopped into the house while Pegasus was distracted, dragging the bunny, his carrot forgotten. He hopped up the stairs slowly, and into Malik's old room. "Kitty?"

Marik didn't hear the soft call. He was yowling and crying and running around the cage, trying to find a way to escape the prison, but so far all he had accomplished was to topple into the pond, making him yowl even louder and become MORE frantic.

Ryou winced slightly and hopped closer. "Kitty!" he called louder, peering into the cage. "Kitty kitty?"

Marik turned and ran over. "Maooo!!! Maoooooo!!!" He cried, and upon seeing his plushy, began trying to dig.

Ryou blinked. “Kitty...want bunny toy?" he asked softly.

Marik sniffled and nodded. "Mine..." He whimpered. "My bunny... like... you.... Mine."

Ryou blinked. "why me yours?" he asked, staring at him slowly. "tell?"

"Mate." Marik said softly, pawing at the sand.

Ryou scratched his ears. "Mate? Playmate? no...know...mate?"

Marik shrugged. "I dunno... just... know..." He stared at Ryou, tail lashing. "Black bunny no touch mine!!!"

Ryou blinked. "but...no old!" he said making a cute wrinkled icky face. "Mates OLD! No old! No mate...old old" he cooed pawing lightly at the glass. "Kitty love kitties..no bunnies!"

Marik frowned. "Love bunny." He said firmly.

Ryou blushed slightly. "But... kitty EAT bunny..."

Marik smiled. "Yeah! Eat BLACK bunny! Not you."

Ryou wrinkled his nose. "Love...master..." he cooed softly. "Master is...master..." he said nuzzling the bunny plushie. "like kitty...b-but...kitty...not master."

Marik mewled. "Want bunny. My bunny. My mate." He slowly lay down, eyes fixed on Ryou. Meanwhile, Pegasus was in a panic at finding Ryou missing, and had his maids searching for Ryou now.

Ryou blushed again. "But... little little..." he said softly, tugging an ear. "How...kitty know...kitty so little." he cooed, hearing footsteps moving around the mansion, though none seemed near them at the moment. "Kitty little...long time grow big...change mate?"

Marik shook his head. "Never." He said firmly.

"B-but...bunny s'posed love master...o-or bunny!" Ryou squeaked, blushing more. "Bunny...not kitty...little bitty...bunny...bunny pet."

"Master say bunny loves anyone bunny wants!" Marik whined.

Ryou nodded. "Bunny s'posed love master...?" he asked looking confused. "Master love bunny before...kitty love bunny?"

Marik blinked at Ryou and thought, trying to remember... he got a flash of a bunny... an older bunny... and he was bigger than him... they were under a log and he... Felt something... really good down in his diaper areas... But as soon as the flash came, it vanished into a splitting headache. "Maoo!" Marik whined, clutching his head. The headache faded, as did the memory. He looked at Ryou, sighing.

"Love master..." He said softly. "Love mama! But... love mate, too...."

Ryou blinked and tilted his head. "Owie?" he asked picking up the bunny plushie and looking around slowly. He hopped over to the cage and lifted a small latch and began crawling inside. He whimpered loudly when his little bum got stuck in the space.

After a few moments of struggling, he freed himself from the space, rolling across the sand. His side was scraped badly from the fall, and when he sat up. "I-in with kitty..."

Marik blinked at Ryou, then mewed and ran over, tackling him gently and tugging his ear in a playful manner. "My bunny! Mine! Ry!!!" He squealed happily, nuzzling Ryou.

Ryou winced slightly and pouted, his side was bleeding slightly. "Owie...bunny owie ow..." he sniffled, trying to clean the area, but not really able to reach it without making more pain. He sniffled and flopped onto his good side and nuzzled Marik. "Kitty owie..."

"I fix!" He squealed, and began to gently lick Ryou's side with his warm rough tongue, purring.

"Oh!" A maid gasped, walking in. "Oh, Ryou! How on earth did you get in there?!" She ran to the door and Marik blinked as she opened it and scooped Ryou up. "Come on, sweetie. Mr. Pegasus is very worried. He didn't know where you were.”

"Me? Mew?!" Marik whined. But the maid ignored him and carried Ryou out, closing the door and leaving Marik inside. Marik whined as Ryou was carried out of the room and ran to the little door that was meant for food bowls to be slipped in through. But he was too big and too chubby.

Ryou whimpered as the maid carried him. "Owie owie..." he sniffled. "Have owie ow ow!" he squeaked squirming. "Kitty play..."

The maid smiled and walked down stairs and into the backyard. "Here he is, sir. He was in the cage with little Marik. He's scraped up his side, here." She said, handing Ryou to Pegasus.

"Oh, my poor baby bunny..." The man cooed, gushing over Ryou. "Ryou, what were you doing up there?" He asked, glancing up at the window where the cage was, and seeing Marik's little face in it, his mouth open in furious crying screams, tears streaming down his face. A moment later, his face disappeared from the window.

"Please get me some stuff to take care of Ryou's scrapes." Pegasus asked the maid, who gave a little nod and scurried off.

Ryou nuzzled Pegasus. "Kitty want bunny mate." he explained, flicking his ears. "Say me his only!"

Pegasus blinked. "Really? hmm... do you WANT to be kitty's mate?" He asked, sitting down into the grass and smiling when Tachi ran over and nuzzled into his legs. He pet the bunny.

Ryou blinked confusedly. "Bunny is little...?" He asked flicking his ears as Tachi inched over and licked his cheek. "Bunnies love bunnies, an masters...kitties EAT bunnies..." he said softly after a moment, pawing at Tachi's floppity ears. "Kitty...eat bunny."

Pegasus laughed. "No! The kitty won't eat the bunny! He loves you!"

"Nuh uh!! He owie Tachi!" Ryou said wrinkling his nose. "He owie me!"

Pegasus blinked at Ryou. "Marik hurt you?" He asked.

Ryou shook his head. "NO! Kitty owie..." He said pointing to his side. "Why...kitty want mate?" he asked stopping his play with Tachi. "Bunny...kitty...LITTLE!"

Pegasus sighed. "You'll understand some day. Maybe he just has a little... crush on you, Ryou." He said, petting both bunnies, smiling when the maid brought some bandaids, cotton balls and antibacterials. He began to clean Ryou's scrapes.

Ryou squealed loudly when he felt the sting of the antibacterials. "OW!! OWIE!! OWIE! NO!!!" he wailed, squirming away and whimpering at his stinging side. "BAD!" he glared at Pegasus. "Bad hurt owie!"

"Shhhh... it's okay, baby. I know it hurts, but it's killing all of the bad germs on your scrape that could make you sick!" Pegasus said, trying to soothe Ryou.

Ryou stuck out his tongue. "be sick!" he pouted sniffling and looking at his side, the sting slowly dying down. "owie..."

Pegasus smiled. "There you go. Who's my good bunny?" He asked, throwing Ryou onto his back on the ground and tickling his tummy.

Ryou squeaked and giggled. "ME!" he squealed, forgetting his anger instantly. "Me good bunny!! MEEE!"

"That's right!" Pegasus crooned. "You are my precious baby bunny!!" And he blew on Ryou's tummy, then began to wrestle with Ryou and Tachi both.

Ryou squealed delightedly and scampered away, hunching down, his little tail flicking madly, his bum in the air. "Wheee!" he giggled hopping into Pegasus and wrestling with him.

Pegasus laughed and allowed his self to bed tackled to the ground, and laughed even harder when Tachi jumped on him. And with a howl from Malik, the call went up for a dog pile. Malik, Bakura, Ivy and Kumani all joined in and pounced on the man.

Ryou giggled licking Pegasus' face from under the pile. Yami tottled over to perch on Pegasus' head, looking down into his face. "ha ha." he giggled.

Ryou giggled harder. "Master let kitty out?"

Pegasus laughed and shoved Yami off. "You crazy bird!" He snickered, and pet Yami's head. Then he sat up, sending all the babies tumbling into a pile on his lap.

Yami peeped and climbed up Pegasus' back, perching on his shoulder contently, yawning and burying his face into his wing. He'd found his warm napping spot for the hour.

Ryou giggled. "Master PIRATE!" he giggled as the babies all toppled slowly out of Pegasus' lap. "Master let kitty out?"

Pegasus laughed and gently stroked Yami's wings. "No, baby. He needs to stay up in time-out for a while. He hurt Tachi. That's not nice." He said.

Ryou sniffled. "B-but he sorry!" he said ears drooping. "Kitty come out... kitty sorry!"

Pegasus sighed. "No Ryou." He said, petting the bunny. "Play with your friends."

Ryou wrinkled his nose before darting back into the house. "Kitty!" he squeaked, hopping awkwardly up the steps and skittering back into Marik's room. "Kitty!"

"RYOU!!" Pegasus howled, chasing after Ryou. He darted up the stairs and scooped Ryou up, carrying him from the room, Marik mewling loudly. "Ryou, if you visit him he's not in Time-Out."

Ryou whined. "KITTY!" He sniffled giving Pegasus a hurt look. "Please? Kitty...want play kitty..." he sniffled giving Pegasus one of those looks his master couldn't refuse. "Please? Good bunny...want kitty no punish good bunny.."

"Good bunny needs to go play with his other friends." He said with a smile. "And it's almost lunchtime." He poked his head into the kitchen. "Please start preparing lunch for the little ones."

Ryou squirmed out of Pegasus' hands and dashed RIGHT back to Marik's room, this time he slid under the feeding hole and hid in the cave, hoping Pegasus wouldn't find him. "Kitty..."

A few moments later, Pegasus sighed and stomped in. He entered the cage, (Marik hid behind some tall grass) and scooped Ryou up. "Ryou. If you don't stop, Marik will not come out at all." He said and left the cage, then the room, closing and locking the door behind him to prevent Ryou from getting in again. Marik began yowling.

Ryou sniffled and pouted. "Meanie..." he sniffled crossing his little arms and glaring. "Want kitty...."

"You can have kitty later." He said, petting Ryou and carrying him back out to the yard.

Marik in the meantime curled up with his plushy in the cave and sniffled. "Mama..." He whimpered, and continued to mewl for her until he fell asleep. And fifteen minutes later, lunch was served out back.

The little babies all dug into their food, and almost instantly after finishing, they curled up in sunny patches for their nap, Ryou and Tachi snuggled together amongst the other bunnies in a warm patch of clover...

Angel nibbled the clover slightly, looking around boredly. 'not a single eligable male here..' she grumbled.

Upstairs, Marik sniffed at his dish, but then made a face and hissed, backing away and went right back to his nap in the cave.

In the back yard, Bakura laid out with Ivy and Spunky, and Kumani sunned herself on a rock. Bushou had fallen asleep on a half eaten zucchini. It was time for the afternoon nap…
