Welcome to the 12th Chapter. So...Yugi's just playing games with his ex-love. What happens when the tables are turned and Yami starts playing the games. Find out now! Tanoshimu!
Chapter Juuni
Yugi gets in his car and drives home. He gets out and go straight to his bedroom. He opens his bathroom door in utter disgust that his best friend would actually be getting it on in there.
'Well, at least it wan't on the bed.'
He goes in and locks the door behind him. He sits at his desk and looks at the letter he started on yesterday. He reads it then signs it.
'I'll give this to Yami later.' He folds the letter then puts it in a desk drawer.
He rests his head in his arms and his gaze sets on a picture of him and Yami, shortly after Yami got his body. They were standing in the park, arms wrapped around each other.
'Too bad those days will be forever gone. It'll never be the same between us. That's why I can't take you back Yami.'
(Yami's Apartment)
Yami's eyes was fixed on the same picture...wandering...why.
'It's as if he wants to take me back, but these games he continue to play with himself...and with me...is shielding his heart from himself.'
"Wait a minute, how did he get the Sen'nin Puzzle?! I remember leaving that in Egypt with Seth!"
Yami stand up to the best of his ability and goes to the bathroom.
'Damn...game. Ok Aibou, if you want to play games, then so can I.'
Yami finishes his business then takes a shower. He puts a suit on and goes to work.
(Yami's Office)
Yami is still playing 'Reshelf of Destruction'.
'I'm going to destruct this game if I can't win!'
He loses his match with the Rare Hunter and turns off the system.
"Damn game!" He says taking out his report sheet.
'Day 67. Still, I haven't rescued Ishizu-san. 10:32am. Whoever thought the King of Games would be getting his ass repeatedly kicked by a stupid game?!'
'knock knock'
"Come in."
The door opens and Katrena walks in.
"Ohayo, Yami-kun. This just arrived for you from development." she says walking to Yami's desk. "It's for your PS2."
She hands Yami the game.
"What's the name of this?" he says opening the disk and taking out the CD.
"It's called 'Duel Monsters Quest I: Journey Through the Virtual World'. In this game, you and everyone else is trapped in VR. You have to complete your own individual journey through the world in order to defeat Noa-kun, then Gozaburo-kun. The more you battle and win, the more points you get in order to advance through the world.'
"Is it something like 'Reshelf of Destruction?! Please tell me the duel layout isn't like that!"
"Hold on...let me look at the screen shots." says Katrena as she flips through the papers. "From what I see here, the duel layout is closer to the real life game. So it's what you're used to, Yami-kun."
She hands him the papers. "Enjoy."
"Thank you." he says putting the game into the console and turning it on.
*Next Day. Yugi's Room*
Yugi is laying on his bed, playing 'Reshelf of Destruction'.
"This game is so easy. This is my 4th time playing it from the beginning."
Yugi gets to a part where he doesn't recogize.
"I don't remember this? 'Reshelf has came and kidnapped Yugi and Jounouchi. Take this card. This is the only way to rescue them!' What's going on?!" Yugi says as he presses the button to accept the card. "You have obtained: 'Reshelf's Glory'."
He goes to his deck list and looks at 'Reshelf's Glory'.
"Eien no Trap. 'Use this card when your opponent plays a monster above 1500 Attack Points in order to destroy it. When a monster of Yami, Hikari, Chikyu, and Kaze have been destroyed, you will automatically win the duel.' Wow...that's a great card! I guess I'm on another storyline!! I wonder has Yami made it this far?"
Yugi continues the game...but it disappears from his hands.
'What's going on?!' He looks around and sees that he is in the game...literally!
'No way! I'm a part of the game! I got to be dreaming! I have been playing this a lot lately. Oh well, guess I'll finish.'
Little did he know, someone had put him in the game...and was playing the game himself.
'Heh Aibou, you want to play games? Let's see how you like this little twist.'
"Yami?! Wait!" Yugi yells as he runs after him.
He catches up to him.
"Hey, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be rescuing Jounouchi and Yugi. Go to the train station and take the train to the Docks. Reshelf should be there."
Yami walks off.
"Wait!" Yugi says. "Are you stuck in the game too?"
"Hey, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be rescuing Jounouchi and Yugi. Go to the train station and take the train to the Docks. Reshelf should be there."
Yami walks off again.
'What's going on?'
Yugi looks around and sees many Yami-look-alikes. He then goes to the train station and gets on. The train stops near Domino Dock. When Yugi gets off, he sees someone who looks like him, and Jounouchi, and Yami. Yugi runs up to Yami.
"Yami?! What are you doing here?! It's me, Yugi!"
"Thank you for coming here. Now you will be put through the ultimate test Aibou. In order to rescue Yugi and Jounouchi, you must defeat me, in a duel!"
The scene changes to a duel arena, one that's very similar to the one Pegasus has.
"Boku no turn. Draw! I place one card face down and one monster face down. Turn End."
"Boku no turn. Draw!" Yugi says as he draws a card and analyzes his hand. 'I got Baffomet, Alpha, Beta, Fusion, Mirror Force, and Hurricane. He has one monster face down and one reverse card...Magic...or Trap?' "I play Hurricane which moves your cards back to your hands. Next, I play Maganet Warrior Alpha in attack mode. Alpha, attack his face down card!"
Alpha attacks and is destroyed.
"Why?! Why was it destroyed?!"
His opponent's face down card flips up to reveal Droll Bird, a Kaze monster. Yugi could feel his shirt disappear from his body.
'Where'd my shirt go?!'
"Heh, you are in my Yami no Game, Aibou, Yokubou no Game."
"The Game of Desire?"
Yugi looks up and sees Yami standing on the duel ring in a very sexy, revealing outfit.
"What's going on?!" Yugi asks as Yami begins to dance.
"Can you stand this test, Aibou?"
