Cassan grinned "My my Atemu you actually let a human kiss you?" Yugi blinked "Atemu?" Yami growled staring at Cassan "Atemu is my real name Aibou 'Shadow Yami' was the nickname I gained from my power," Yugi blinked "But why were you given that nickname?" Yami's eyes narrowed "It means darkness and I wield shadow magic and I have mastered it," Cassan laughed "Then prove it Pharaoh," the laugh turned to a growl as Cassan pounced lunging for Yami, Yami pushed Yugi away from him so Yugi was out of the way and stood ready and collided with Cassan, he fell back and both tumbled and rolled down the back and landed in the river, Yugi had landed on his rear and was staring at the two in shock and surprise, Joey who was passing by with Seto saw the commotion and ran over "Yuge? Are you alright?" Yugi got back on his feet and ran over "Yami is in trouble someone called Cassan from his past has come back and is trying to kill Yami," Joey nodded and looked over to see a soaking wet Yami and Cassan jumped out of the water and collide again biting scratching and snarling, Yugi looked on worriedly, Yami was taking more damage than Cassan was.
Cassan roared loudly as he swung his fist and knocked Yami flying backwards, Yami landed on his back wincing in pain and looked up to see Cassan running towards him, Yami's eyes turned sharply to see Joey come running and slam his fist into the side of Cassan's face "You leave my buddy Yami alone!" he bellowed, Yami smiled inwardly at Joey's statement then saw Yugi run to him and help him up "You alright?" he asked worriedly, Yami turned his head and spat out blood before looking to Cassan "Never felt better, now stand back because your going to see one very angry big pussy cat," Yugi nodded and stood by Seto, Yami transformed to his tiger self and stood on all fours his fur stood on end, Cassan had knocked Joey down and was about to slash him with his claws when he saw Yami change, growling Cassan turned onto Yami, his inner wild cat was a lion to which in a few seconds he'd transformed to.
The two wild cats roared and charged each other, Yami jumped from one side to another moving fast only appearing as a black blur, Cassan tried to focus on him but Yami was moving so fast it was difficult, the two collided Cassan slashed Yami round the throat while Yami slashed over Cassan's eyes, the two jumped back in pain then pounced and collided again, Yugi watched in fear hoping Yami would be alright, he'd seen Yami was taking more damage and seemed to be growing weaker. Suddenly Cassan knocked Yami flying backwards, Yami hit a wall and flopped down reverting back to his neko self, the wounds now visible, Yami struggled to get back up "Yami, look out!" Yugi cried, Yami looked up seeing Cassan charging towards him, Yami was about to try and jump out the way when he saw Yugi come running and jump onto Cassan's back "You leave him alone!" he cried tugging and pulling at Cassan's fur, Cassan growled and grabbed Yugi with a paw and threw him away "Stay out of this brat," Yugi's head hit the side of a bench and winced in pain and couldn't stand up, Yami watched crying out Yugi's name he saw Cassan moving closer to Yugi raising a paw to finish Yugi off, Joey was about to come running but Seto stopped him pointing at Yami, Cassan's paw raised higher staring down at Yugi's terrified face but then Cassan noticed it was getting a little brighter and looked round to Yami and his eyes widened, Yugi looked and saw Yami stood with what appeared to be a symbol of an eye on his forehead.
Cassan snarled and charged towards Yami pouncing when Yami snapped his fingers and from nowhere a golden beamed shot across in front of him, Cassan hit the beam and was knocked backwards, he looked up and watched as the beamed formed something and vanished, where there had been gold light was red and black scales as Slifer the Sky dragon appeared over Yami, "You should know very well Cassan that I am protected by the Egyptian Gods," Cassan got up changing to his neko form "No it's impossible no-one can summon forth the Gods," Yami smirked "As you can see Cassan I can," Yugi stared in amazement was this a portion of Yami's true power? He had no idea of what Yami was capable of, he looked at Yami and Yami's clothes had changed, he was no longer wearing the clothes for the dance but long baggy black trousers hung off his hips with a small blue flap just over the front of them, a golden band served as a belt round his waist, he no longer had his shirt or tank top on except he was wearing a golden chest-plate with a long crimson cape attached to it, golden bands were along his long slender arms and a golden crown was upon Yami's forehead, Yugi's eyes widened this was what Yami had looked like over 5000 years ago as a Pharaoh.
"No please Pharaoh I beg of you don't harm me," Cassan was now on his knees begging for mercy, Yami wasn't going to give any "You have committed the offence of making the attempt to kill a Pharaoh and the penalty is death, my father's law will prevail," Yami spoke with a proud tone in his voice, Cassan looked up at him and snarled "Your no Pharaoh, human!" he shouted, Yami's eyes narrowed "Slifer pass your judgement upon this traitor and rid this world of him," Slifer's mouths opened and launched two attacks, Cassan cried out as he was hit by the attacks, Yami shut his eyes not wanting to witness the sight though he couldn't rid the screams ringing in his ears, he opened his eyes again when the light had dimmed and Slifer returned to it's card, Cassan was nothing more than a burnt skeleton on the ground, Yami turned away unable to bare the sight true it was his doing but he had no choice it was in his blood and he had always followed and used the laws of his father, he turned and looked up and walked over to Yugi, he knelt down on one knee and held out a hand to Yugi "Are you alright Aibou? Are you hurt?" he asked softly, Yugi reached out a little shakily "Is…Is it over?" he asked, Yami nodded and gave a small comforting smile "Yes Aibou, it's all over now," he took hold of Yugi's hand and helped him up, he examined him carefully checking Cassan hadn't hurt him he noticed a slash on his arm and helped him back home with Seto and Joey following behind.
Yami carefully bandaged Yugi's arm having cleaned the wound that Cassan had left, he kissed Yugi on the cheek "You were brave Aibou for jumping onto Cassan's back but I really wish you hadn't put yourself in danger," Yugi looked at him "I know but I couldn't let him hurt you anymore," Yami nodded and kissed his forehead "I understand Aibou," he stood up and looked to Seto and Joey "How are you two?" he asked with concern, Joey smiled "We're alright Yami, it's you two we're concerned about," Yami nodded then felt Yugi put a hand on his shoulder, he winced and hissed he felt Yugi move his hand quickly "Sorry Yami, I didn't mean…" "Its fine Aibou," Yami cut in, Yugi nodded and sat Yami down and cleaned out the wounds and bandaged them, "Who is Atemu?" asked Seto, Yami looked up at Seto "Atemu is my real name," he looked down "Shadow Yami was a nickname meaning darkness because of my knowledge of shadow magic though I try not to use it often," Seto nodded "So why don't you use Atemu as your name again?" Yami shrugged "Guess Yami just stuck," Seto nodded then Joey stood up "Sorry Yuge we gotta get going Mokuba would probably start complaining at Seto and want to know what's happened," Yugi nodded "It's alright Joey, we can take things from here," Yami nodded and smiled "Thanks for helping me out Joey I really appreciate it," Joey nodded and grinned "No problem Yami sorry Atemu," he chuckled and left with Seto who gave a nod to Yami.

sorry if the fight was a little lame to people couldnt quite think of a way to make it really exciting but i hope it was exciting enough woot go Yami lol
