11: Meeting Bakura
Darkness... darkness.... all around me... darkness...
I walked forward, not knowing if something was beyond
the darkness. If Pegasus had condemned both Mokuba and me in this darkness so alike
the one schizo-Yugi had put me in, I would likely met
my brother if I kept walking.
After what felt like hours of walking I decided to
take a break and just sat down on the ground... hmm? Something feels wrong... I
feel like I’m watched.
“Come on out” I said out into the nothingness “I know
your there, show yourself” I didn’t sound mean or harsh,
hopefully it could be Mokuba, but this style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Verdana;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>presence
of evil... I couldn’t shake it, it reminded me of the
evil flicker in silver hair’s eyes.
When I heard footsteps behind me I just casually
turned my head and saw to my suspicious silver hair, it was the one I saw
before the shadows swallowed me. He sat down next to me as he stared at me. His
eyes were to my surprise not chocolate but mahogany.
“What?” I asked.
He first shook his head “Who are you?” he asked, I
raised a brow at him.
“As one of Yugi’s friends I’m amazed that you haven’t
heard my name” I smirked at him as he snorted.
“It’s Ryou that’s friends with Yugi not me!”
“Ryou?”
“He’s the one you have been seeing most of the times
when you have in some strange way sensed me” he answered.
So the chocolate eyed silver hair’s name is Ryou...
this one seems schizo too...
“What’s your name then?”
He eyed me a while as to think out a good answer.
“Actually I have forgotten my real name... but
everyone calls me by Ryou’s last name” he finally answered.
“And that is?” I asked trying to resist the urge of
drawing my hand through that wild hair. His hair was different from Ryou’s it
was a lot wilder. There was a lot of difference between them just as there were
differences between Yugi and his schizo form.
He looked deep into my eye while answering “Bakura”
I smiled and reach out my hand to him “Nice to meet
you Bakura, I’m Seto”
He took my hand “But I wonder...” he said not letting
go of my hand “How you, a mere human without any obvious hints of magic, can
sense my presence around Ryou when that little twit Yugi can’t” he asked and
still not letting go of my hand or break the eye contact.
Magic?
Did he believe in all that witchcraft...? I don’t have any magical powers...
“I don’t know what you’re talking about... But I knew
it were something beyond... Ryou was it right?” I awaited Bakura’s answer
before continuing “... eyes and I thought it was obvious that something was
there”
Real shame that the boy Ryou were schizo...
it could have been something there... but still something about Bakura wasn’t
like Yugi’s schizo side... I couldn’t put my finger
on it... yet...
Bakura chuckled a bit “Speaking of eyes, all Ryou have
been thinking about is your eyes, your searching, cerulean blue eyes” He
finally let go of my hand as he chuckled a bit more “You have made a big
impression on him” he said and looked out in the nothingness around us.
“And by the way... Ryou and I aren’t schizophrenics
and neither is Yugi” he smirked at me. How did he...?
“...know what you were thinking?” he finished my
sentence! Okay... that was freaky...
“Don’t worry Seto, I can only read your mind in the
Shadow realm and only if I want to”
What? Huh? Wha...?!
“What do you mean not schizophrenics and read my mind
if you want to?”
