Unresolved Conflicts

A/N: Well… I know this must look bad… but… well… you see, the maxillofacial surgeon gave me some really strong painkillers and some muscle relaxants, but both medications make me drowsy as hell and I kind of slept through my spring break, then spent a whole bunch of time trying to make up the work I missed, but then I took the pills again, and I slept through some more days, then spent time trying to make that missed work up. Then I had free time and I was going to update my stories, and I did update my other story, but I was kind of stuck on this one. I kind of know the story in my head but it’s such a horrible task trying to sort out all the different things in my head. I stopped taking my pills so that I don’t sleep through days, now. But the problem is that my jaw hurts so fucking much at night that I can’t sleep at all without the pills. I tried to cut the pills and take half, but that doesn’t help. So I haven’t slept in a while and yesterday there was this horrible storm going through LA (I know I shouldn’t complain considering that it is still snowing in some cities and that today was normal again) but, nonetheless, I had forgotten my umbrella so while I was walking to the bus stop I got drenched. And then I was crossing the street when I saw the bus coming so I ran and ended up twisting my ankle and missed the bus, and these buses come once every half and hour so I had to wait another half and hour out in the rain. And it was windy like hell, and I guess all that cold made my jaw hurt more (the doctor had told me to put heating pads on my jaw, but I never did that. It would probably be a good idea to start now). So anyways, I took the pain killers and those aren’t that bad, so I woke up today and I now I am updating. So there. You can’t be that mad at me because in the end, even though only a couple of people reviewed, I am still updating. And those who reviewed, Thank You!



Chapter 10


Jou woke up, feeling funny. He felt and arm rapped around his bare chest and for a moment he wanted to panic. Why was he naked and who was in bed with him? Opening his eyes sheepishly it registered in Jou’s brain that he was not in his room. Now panic hit him full force and, startled, he turned around.

He found sky-blue eyes staring back at him, strong hands of the owner of those mesmerizing eyes still holding him. As he remembered the tryst that they had just shared, a smile crept onto Jou’s face. Quickly he bent down and licked the tip of Kaiba’s nose.

The brunet wrinkled his nose and wiped it with the back of his hand. Jou chuckled.

“Now, who’s the puppy?”

Kaiba smiled, truly, genuinely smiled at the comment and drew Jou close, kissing him on the lips. Jou responded to the kiss with enthusiasm. This was one of his most reoccurring fantasies-to wake up in the arms of Seto Kaiba holding him naked.

Kaiba’s hand came to tangle itself in Jou’s golden hair. His tongue slowly made its way into Jou’s mouth, eliciting small moans from the blond. He turned the blond over onto his back, lying on top him.

“Come on, we have to go shower. Dinner will be ready soon,” the brunet said as he got out of bed.

At the mention of food Jou’s stomach growled. Kaiba smirked at the noise, then turned around and gathered Jou in his arms, carrying him to the bathroom.

Jou was amazed at the sheer size of the shower. And it wasn’t only the size. Even Kaiba’s bathroom seemed to be high tech. Seto punched in a few buttons, setting his preferred temperature and pressure for the bath. The water started to run down automatically, quickly reaching the settings.

Kaiba pulled Jou inside the shower, quickly starting to leather up Jou’s hair. Jou was about to take over the task himself, but Kaiba pushed his hands away, making it clear that he intended to wash Jou himself.

Jou didn’t complain. He rather enjoyed having the rich CEO’s hands touching him. Kaiba started rinsing his hair and Jou just closed his eyes, enjoying the moment. When he felt the other’s lips on his own, he opened his mouth, granting the other entrance. Jou could get used to this.

Kaiba was glad that Jou didn’t push the matter and just let him wash him. He took care to wash the blond mop of hair carefully, not missing a single strand. Then, as he slightly pushed Jou under the water to rinse his hair, he couldn’t help but kiss the full lips that pursed as honey orbs closed.

Once fully dressed in Kaiba’s pants, that hung loosely on his hips, and a shirt that was way too big on him, Jou’s stomach gave another growl, and Jou shot Kabia a grin.

“Well, lets go eat. I’m starvin’ here.”

Seto Kaiba kissed the smiling lips one more time before leading Jou down the stairs. Mokuba would be staying over at a friend’s house today. He had texted his big brother letting him know that while Jou was still asleep. And that meant that Kaiba would enjoy a nice meal with his puppy without worrying about explaining to his little brother why Jou was having dinner with them, wearing his clothes.

Of course, eventually, he would have to tell Mokuba since there was no way that he would be able to let Jou sleep away from him for much longer.
