Chapter 11: To The Past To Find The Future

Kali's POV

I'm such an idiot!

Why did I follow these two to that temple in the first place? Maybe I wouldn't be knocking on Anubis' door right now. I stood up and studied the world outside through the barred window and sighed. I was in a prison cell in Atemu's palace...mistaken to be the thief king's accomplice or twin sister or something. Hell, I don't understand Egyptian like I thought I did. Now I'm to hang at dawn. Gods, why do this happen to me all the time?

FLASHBACK
-----------------
"Why are we here?" Nick asked looking around the temple with his arm around my waist. Laya looked at us. "Beats me," she said. "We were summoned here and no one's here." "If you ask me, I think someone's tricking us," I said seriously leaning on Nick's chest a moment. The boy had a crush on me. He's such the playboy. "Could be it, Kali," Laya said seriously and frowned. "We should leave." We turned when the door slammed shut on us locking us in. "What the hell?" I asked frowning. The floor beneath us began to glow and a hard wind blew. I grabbed Nick and screamed in shock.

Everything went black after that.

When I woke up, I had one hell of a migraine and no one was around. My friends were gone. "Nick? Laya? Where are you guys?" I asked standing up on shaky feet. I was still in my normal clothes thankfully, but lying in a palace. I groaned at the pain and rested against a pillar for a moment. "This is too weird," I said to myself. "Where the hell am I?" "HALT!" a voice said and spears were pointed at me. I gulped as a man that looked like my uncle Yami appeared wearing royal attire. "Uncle Yami?" I asked in confusion. He frowned deeply and looked at me. "She's with the Thief King," he said. "For his crimes, you shall be punished to death in the gallows in the morning!" "Wait!" I said backing up. "I didn't do anything!" "Take her away!" he ordered.

That's how I got here...now how the hell do I get out of here?

Normal POV

Kali noticed the sun was rising and swallowed hard. She would be the first immortal to die by hanging. It was her worst nightmare. She shook uncontrollably and dropped down sobbing. "I want to go home," she whispered wanting Ryou and Bakura to hold her and tell her she'd be safe. Her sister's necklace clung to her neck and she touched it. "Kyra," she whispered. "Kyra, I love you. Take care of yourself." The door opened and a guard stood there tying her hands behind her back and placed a yoke around her neck. "Come on," he said yanking her like a dog on a leash. She dro her her head and followed staring at the ground as she walked tears sliding down her cheeks. She was led to the gallows and pushed on the platform as the hangman led her up and tied the waiting noose around her neck tightening it in the process before placing a bag on her head. She could hear the drums sounding and swallowed hard.

This was it. Her final minutes secoseconds. She prayed to every God she knew to forgive her of her sins.

The platform beneath her feet disappeared and she dropped, but her feet hit something solid. She grunted and frowned wondering what was going on as she worked her way out of her ropes and removed the bag. "Red Eyes!" she shouted happily looking at the dragon. He roared and flew to the platform landing safely to allow her to slide down. The crowd was in shock and stood back in fear. Atemu gasped in shock. He knew only one other person who could summon monsters.

That was Kyra, Seth and Jou's adopted child!

He walked to her and frowned. "Who are you?" he asked. She dropped to one knee bowing before him. "Kalista Bakura, your majesty," she said. "I'm the reincarnation of Kyra, Bakura's daughter." He allowed her to rise and looked at her. "You look exactly like the thief king," he said. "I'm his reincarnation's daughter now," she said. "I'm from the future...5,000 years in the future where monsters like Red Eyes live through the power of a game called Duel Monsters." He frowned and nodded. "And to think I almost hanged you," he sighed. "Forgive me, Kalista." "Please, call me Kali," she said. He nodded and smiled. "You're my honored guest at the palace," he said. "Make yourself comfortable." "Please...I must find my friends," she said shaking her head. "Laya and Nick are out there and I have to find them." Red Eyes snorted and flew off to locate them.

Later that evening, Nick and Kali walked the palace halls together since Laya was sleeping and sighed. "Shadi and Mahaado are trying to find a way to transport us home," he said. She nodded. "I know," she said. "I know our parents are gonna bitch at us until the day we die from this." He nodded. "Yeah," he said and looked at her. "Were you scared up there?" She nodded. "I thought I was done for," she said. "Red Eyes saved my ass." "I'm glad he did," he said and stopped pulling her close to him. "I almost lost you," he whispered running his hand through her hair. "I couldn't live if you died." She studied him frowning. "Kali, I love you," he whispered and brushed his lips on hers in a passionate kiss. Her eyes closed as she rested her hands on his chest moaning slightly in the kiss.

He lifted her in his arms and dragged her to a private area and kissed her again sliding his tongue in her mouth tasting her sweet taste as their tongues dueled the dance of love. He pulled back slightly and looked at her. "I wanna be inside you," he whispered. "Please, let me do so." She nodded and he pulled off his shirt and jeans and boxers revealing his naked body to her. He then reached up and pulled off her shirt and all her clothes. His lips left a trail down her body and he stopped at her breasts taking one in and sucking it nipping the flesh gently as his tongue swirled on her nipple. She moaned arching back a little. He slipped her legs around him entering her as he did so. He held still to allow her to adjust to his length. "Ride me," he whispered lying on his back.

She moved so she was on top of him sliding him back inside her body and licked his chest as she began moving her hips on his body. He groaned and arched his back thrusting his arousal deep inside her. She rocked her body against him moaning. "Gods, you feel so good," he panted. "So do you," she whispered as he ran his hands down her spine and felt her every inch. She felt her orgasm build up and grunted. "Cum on me, baby," he whispered. "Don't hold back." She nodded and released her orgasm covering his arousal with her juices. He flipped her over and thrusted hard inside her body. "Nick..." she whispered gripping his strong shoulders. "Harder please!" He slammed into her burying himself all the way inside her. She could feel her second orgasm build up and moaned arching har back. "Cum with me," he whispered. She nodded and he slammed in her again and again feeling his climax hit hard. She released within moments of his own. He shot his seed deep inside her and laid against her panting.

He never pulled out of her body. They slept in the area with his length buried in her for another round in the morning.

Later that afternoon, Laya and Kali walked to the High Priests and bowed. "Have you found anything?" Laya asked. "We found the spell," Shadi said seriously. "However, it can transport you three one at a time within seven moons of each." "That means we'll be leaving a week apart," Kali said frowning. "Isn't there another way?" "The portal can stay open for so long," Mahaado said seriously. Laya and Kali looked at each other. "All three of us have to go now," Laya said. "Get Nick and..." "I'm right here," Nick said walking in the room. "I'm ready when you guys are." The girls nodded and looked at the priests. "Do it, Shadi," Kali said and they began chanting the spell opening the portal. The three ran for it and jumped through.

Kali woke up laying on Nick and Laya in ways. She sat up groaning feeling pain in her body. Laya and Nick felt the same way as they sat up in the ruins of the temple once more. "We're home," Nick whispered. Laya nodded and hugged them. "Come on!" she shouted leading the charge back to the village. Kali saw Bakura and grinned. "DADDY!" she shouted and ran in his arms as he held her close. "My baby," he whispered with tears streaming down his cheeks. "I was so worried!" Shadi grabbed Laya in a hug and Kaiba and Joey hugged their son. "What happened?" Kaiba demanded. "Where the hell were you three? You had us scared to death!" "It's a long story," Laya said seriously. Kali nodded. "You three better tell all because you guys are in trouble for worrying us like this," Ryou said sternly. "Papa!" Kali whined. "I don't want to hear it, young lady!" he said. "Move it!"

Later that afternoon, the three sat together in the village looking at each other. "How long did you get grounded?" Laya asked. "Two weeks," Kali sighed. "Same here," Nick said. "Me too," Laya groaned. "I don't think they believed us." Kali chuckled. "In ways, I think they did," she said causing them to laugh. Their parents watched this and looked at each other. "Hmm," Shadi said. "They could be right." "Who knows?" Joey said and sighed. "Dey seemed serious enough." "Yeah," Bakura said seriously. "But why would all three be sent to the past?" Shadi frowned deeply. "Unless the story is true," he said. "I'd have to check my scrolls."
