On the way Down
Chapter 10: On the Way Down
At the moment everyone was in class when, the teacher told Joey, that she was wanted in the principles office. It didn’t occur to Joey that there should be no reason for her to be summoned to the principles office since technically she wasn’t really in school, she was just there as Yami’s visitor.
She quietly knocked on the door. “Come in.” Someone said on the other side of the door said. She casually went in and blinked looking around.
The lights in the room were out and she didn’t see anyone in the room, that could have called her. Then out of no where the door slammed shut behind her, causing her to jump and look back, no one was there.
She tried the door, but to her dismay it was locked, she was locked in the office which had no windows. She turned around to look for any sort of exit, she found none. She cast her gaze down when she heard something and what she saw scared her more than anything else had in her entire life.
All over the floor were little black bugs that looked like beetles of some kind, and they had begun to crawl toward her, when they got a little closer Joey could see the principle. He looked like he had been eaten alive and he was only bone and skin.
She began to back away in fear, “Oh my god.” She quickly got up on the desk to avoid the bugs when she just barely noticed one of the bugs was on her leg before it went under her skin.
Joey screamed, the pain was unbearable. In the distance she could hear someone call her name and the sound of the door breaking down. She then heard someone else scream before she felt someone grabbed her and pulled her from the room. As she felt herself falling into unconsciousness she already knew someone had tried to kill her, but who and why.
