Guardian - Seth & Seto
The boy sighed and curled up around his stuffed animal, his thumb in his mouth. His eyes moved gently in his dreams as he clutched the fuzzy blue dragon tightly.
A larger hand gently combed unseen through his chestnut hair. Eyes that matched those the boy hid behind closed eyelids lingered sadly on his comparatively tiny form. The pale moonlight shone through his form as he watched his young charge, casting soft shadows.
“You have a hard life ahead of you…” he murmured. Whether it was spoken aloud or merely in his mind was really inconsequential.
The boy barely stirred.
