chapter ten
“I can’t believe you’re making him do this puppy.” Seto tried to suppress his smile at the sight of his brother.
“Eh, I think it’s the perfect revenge.” Joey replied.
“Oh shit! Those guys over there go to my school. Please don’t make me do this Joey.” Mokuba pleaded, “Can’t you just break my legs or something?”
“No, I think I like the original plan better.”
“You did promise that you’d go through with it Mokuba.” Seto admonished.
“Yeah…”
“A promise is a promise kiddo.” Joey grinned, “Now off you go.”
Mokuba sighed, gritted his teeth and stepped out of the limo.

“Hurry up Yami! I want to see what Joey got Mokuba to do.”
“Calm down Aibou. We aren’t going to miss it.”
Yugi turned around and his eyes widened when he saw Mokuba hesitantly leave the limo, “Oh my god. I can’t believe it.”
“What is it Yugi?”
“Can’t you see?” Yugi pointed to Mokuba.
“Yes, I see. Do you know her? She looks familiar.”
“Kinda like Princess Adina yeah?”
“Yes, now that you mention it.” Yami’s eyes also widened when he realised what Joey had made Mokuba do, “Oooooh, I get it now. Poor Mokuba.”

‘I’m never gonna hear the end of this.’ Mokuba thought glumly as he walked through the mall with his head down, ‘I guess I’m getting off lightly though.’
***Flashback***
Joey leaned down and whispered his request in Mokuba’s ear.
“I want you to dress up like Princess Adina and walk from one end of the mall to the other.”
***End Flashback***
“Hey there beautiful. I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before.”
‘Oh god no. Please leave me alone.’ Mokuba pleaded mentally.
“You look kinda familiar though. A bit like… Mokuba Kaiba!”
“Hey! It is him. What the fuck are you dressed up like a girl for you stupid rich brat?”
“Where are your manners man, that’s no way to speak to a lady.”
“Shut up!” Mokuba growled.
“Aw, have we upset the little pansy boy.”
“Look, he’s blushing.”
“You look so cute when you blush Mokie.”
“Careful, he might think you’re hitting on him.”
“Damn, I wish I had a camera.”
“Fuck off!” Mokuba tried to shove past them but they blocked his way.
“Now now Mokie. That isn’t very lady like.”
Suddenly an angry voice interrupted the two bullies and made them freeze, “Who are you two assholes terrorizing now huh?”
“Hey sis, this is Mokie.”
“What’s she done to you then?”
“Don’t you mean what’s ‘he’ done?”
“What on earth are you blithering about?”
“This is Mokuba Kaiba you dumb idiot.”
“Oh my, the Mokuba Kaiba?”
“It’s not exactly the most common name is it?”
“I guess not. So, why are you picking on him?”
“Well duh! The guy’s wearing a dress!”
“So what? Mother says you used to love dressing up in dresses at his age.” She paused, pretending to think, “What was it you used to imagine you were? A fairy?”
“No!”
“Hey yeah man, I remember that game. It was pixies, not fairies.”
“You idiot! Shut the hell up!”
“I am not an idiot.”
“Come on Mokuba. They’ll be like this for ages.”
“Thankyou.” He said.
“No problem.” She gave him a funny look, “Why are you wearing a dress anyways?”
“Long story.”
“Let me guess. You either lost a bet, got dared or owed someone big time.”
“Big time would be an understatement. I expected a lot worse than this.”
“Guess you’re lucky then. My name’s Chrys.”
“Is that abbreviated?”
“Uh, yeah.” She blushed.
“What’s you full name?”
“Well, I don’t really tell people. It’s kinda embarrassing.”
“Hey, can’t be more embarrassing then what I’m doing.”
“Fair point. Okay, it’s Chrysanthemum.”
“Uh…”
“It’s a type of flower. When I was born my dad brought mum a bunch of chrysanthemums. She thought it was romantic to name me after them.” Chrys rolled her eyes.
Mokuba grinned, “That is a pretty weird name.”
“Yeah, I suppose it is.” She also grinned, “So, where ya headed?”
“Oh, I just have to walk from one end of the mall to the other.” He looked up, “And I guess I’m here.”
“Cool. So, goodbye Mokuba Kaiba.” She turned and started to walk off.
“Hey! Wait a sec.”
“Yeah?”
“Can you come outside for a minute?”
“Sure.”

AN: Just in case any of you are wondering I do actually know someone named Chrysanthemum, and she got that name the same way as the girl in this story did.
