Nazo no Kisu (Mysterious Kiss)
Welcome to Chapter 10. I bet you all are wondering where in the world I could be taking this
story. Well, it'll be headed in a direction in this chapter, the final direction? Maybe, maybe not.
You just have to stay tuned to find out. Oooo, my lime tree is in bloom!
Chapter 10: Bad Timing
(7:15am, KC Duel Dome)
Someway or another, Atemu and I have made it here...on time with 15 minutes to spare. I still
feel a bit sleepy, but it's ok. I hope my duel isn't at 8.
I look around and notice many top duelers from across the nation. I wonder who I will be dueling
first.
The line finally shortens and I stand in front of an official. I hand him my invite I had recieved from
the city tournament.
"Mutou Yugi. Well done in the previous tournament." the man says to me.
"Arigatou."
"May I see your deck please?"
I hand him my deck and he goes through it, checking for fake cards, limitability, and other things. I
guess he doesn't find a flaw, because he stamps 'clear' on my form.
"Here is your duel number." he says handing me a slip of paper. "You will need this at all times in
order to participate in the second round of matches."
"What about the first round?"
"For duelists who won their invites, they are honored with having a BYE in the first round. The 2nd
round will begin at noon, so you have plenty of time to do what you want. Matchup boards are
posted all over, so you can stop by one and see who your potential opponents may be."
"Arigatou."
I get to skip the 1st round woohoo! That leaves me at an advantage. I will be able to see the duel
of my two potential opponents and see their decks and strategies.
"Good luck in the tournament, Mutou-kun."
I bow before him and leave to find Anzu. She's supposed to meet me near the restaurant at 7:30. It's
only 7:28. She still has 2 minutes.
"Yugi? Yugi! Here I am!" She says running up to me and giving me a hug.
"Ohayo, koi." I say, hugging back.
"Sorry I'm late."
"You're not late."
"Oh, I'm not. That's good. But I saw Atemu on the way in and I stopped to talk to him. So when does
your duel begin?"
"At noon."
"Noon?!" she says walking into the restaurant. I follow her in line, but of course for obvious reasons,
I don't get anything to eat. Just some orange juice. Mmm..everything does smell and look great! Stupid
problem... I wish it would go away!
"Yea, duelists who got an invite from their city tournies, get BYEs for the 1st round." I say sitting in
a chair across from Anzu.
"No wonder Atemu said he had all the time in the world to do nothing." she says laughing. "So, did
you stay the night with him?"
"Yea, I did. I wish you could stay the night with me sometimes. My parents don't mind."
"But my mom does. Ever since dad and my brother died, she's become extra protective of me. Some
mornings, she hardly lets me out the house to go to school. She says that the same thing that
happened to dad and Akira could happen to me."
"Yea, but death's going to find you, no matter where you are." I say.
"I wish mom could get that through her head." Anzu says faking a laugh.
I watched Anzu finish her breakfast and we went to the nearest board. I had to see who my potential
opponents were.
"What's your number Yugi?" Anzu asks me as she looks at the board and all the arrows and lines that
connected...
"San." I say looking.
"Here it is. The two potential duelists you may face are numbers 19 and 20. Their duel begins at 10."
"What's time is it now?" I ask looking around for a clock.
"It's umm...9:24. We still have plenty of time." I say leaning against a wall.
"Do you want to go and check out some of the other duels?" Anzu asks as she stands directly in front
of me.
"Not really..." I reply as her breasts are now at eye-level...
What I wouldn't give to suck on those...
"So, what do you want to do?" Anzu asks in a deeper, sexier voice.
"We could go find a quiet corner and..."
"Hey Yugi! Anzu!"
Dammit! Not now Jounouchi!
"Hello Jounouchi. Hello Kaiba..." I say robotically.
They just spoiled the mood...a very good mood I may add. Who knows the next time I'll have a chance!
"Hey there guys. I was just leaving to go to the restroom for a minute. Wait on me Yugi."
"I will." I say, watching her walk towards the restrooms. Watching her hips sway from side to side...
watching her ass bounce a little with each step...
"Uh...ummm...Yugi?"
Kaiba, dammit! That was a very happy train of thought right there!
"Yes..." I say slowly turning my head and looking at the two.
They withdraw back a little, I guess taking the hint from the now pissed off expression of my face. Yea,
you two literally ruined an opportunity for me to duel much happier later today!
"Sorry about that. We didn't know." Jou says.
"But here of all places?" Kaiba asks.
"Anzu's mom is really strict and has a early curfew. So, it's very hard for us to do anything else but kiss."
"Ahh..so now no mom...you two were going to..." Jou says.
I nod.
"Damn, so sorry about that Yugi. I know how long you had been waiting on her. Well. The longer you
wait, the better it will be when it finally happens." Kaiba advises me. He puts his arm around me. "Now
listen here. When you and Anzu finally do it..."
" 'Do it'? Don't you mean fuck around, have sex, make love... I don't know what the first time for them
will be. So you can stop using those words like Yugi's in grade school or something." says Jou.
"Will you shut your trap over there Katsuya? I"m trying to give some advice here. I don't know what
their first time is going to be like, so that's why I said 'do it'. Well maybe I should say...sexual
intercourse?"
"Ummm...no. Now you sound like the sex-ed sensei."
Umm..can we get back to me?
"Ahem...' I say, getting their attention.
"Oops..sorry about that Yugi." Jou says. "Carry on Kaiba."
"Now listen here Yugi, when the two of you finally come together in that way, if the two of you truly
love each other, it will reflect in the way the two of you have sex. It reminds me of the time when I
lost my virginity to Kisara Meioh. Now that was some damn good sex. No...love making. That's what
it was. It felt so magical. So right...everything was right."
That's how it felt with Atemu. Everything was right.
"Arigatou Kaiba." I say noticing Atemu walking towards me.
"Come on Seto, let's go." Jou...wait, did he just call Kaiba by his 1st name? I guess so, there he goes
through the crowd.
"Oh Jounouchi? Did I just hear the 'S' word come from your mouth?!" Kaiba says as he walks in the
direction Jou left.
"Hey there Yugi." greets Atemu.
"Hello. I guess your duel doesn't start until noon either."
"Duelist #2 duels at 12:05pm."
"12:05?"
"Yea, each duel begins in 5 minute increments. Duelist #1, Jou, duel begins at noon. #2 at 12:05, #3 at
12:10 and so forth until the 16 matches have started."
"I hate to be in the 16th match. They would have to wait until 1:10 to start."
"Come and follow me. I have to show you something." Atemu says grabbing my hand.
I follow him to a more quiet area of the dome. Now, what could be here he wants me to see?
"Explain." I say looking around.
"I just wanted us to be alone for a while is all. We have until noon before our duels start. Two hours Yugi
to do nothing.'
"I could be with Anzu." I say. "I'm supposed to meet back up with her so we can watch the 10:00 duel."
"Don't worry, you'll win." He says grabbing my crotch.
An unfamiliar noise escapes from me as his lips meet with mine.
"I just want to show you your happy place..." Atemu says then goes back to kissing me.
Indeed, moments later, I'm at the place where I feel the best...the lightest...the happiest. I feel my arms
wrap tightly around his, pushing his body as close to mine as possible. I feel his hands hold my head
and gently massage my neck...sending me to heights of unknown.
I somehow managed to pin him to a nearby wall, and kiss him even harder and more passionately than
before.
Our lips seperate...and I realize how little breathing I had done in the past few minutes.
I catch my breath and kiss him once more.
"Ra, Yugi! Your kisses are breath taking! I wish we could go further with this!"
"You know our deal. As long as I'm with her, all you get are my kisses."

After a few more minutes of faking lost, and seeing that no one else is where we are, we leave and
go back to the lobby.
I spot Anzu standing near the place where we were supposed to me. I go over to her...now what lie could I
make up...
"Gomen ne Anzu. I waited for you, but you took much longer than..."
*SMACK*
"Yarou!" she yells then storms away. (AN: Bastard)
She slapped me... Now, what was that all about?
