Pancakes

Pancakes

Marik grabbed two towels off the hanging rack next to the shower while Yami turned off
the water.

“I’m not sure what to say to Yugi.” Yami said nervously as he squeezed the water out of his tri-colored hair.

“Try, ‘Hey sexy,’that one always works on Malik.” Marik replied with a grin.

Yami tied his towel around his waist. “Uh...right, I think I’ll just go let Yugi in. ”

Marik dried himself off and pulled on a pair of jeans laying on the floor.

“Damn, these must be Bakura’s.” he whined as he sucked in his stomach and buttoned them.
The jeans fit Marik, but just barely. Marik had just a bit more muscle than Bakura, making him a
size larger when it came to clothes. He turned around and admired his butt before dashing out
after Yami.

“Sweet gods I’m hot.” he winked at himself.

Yami slowly turned the knob on the door. He could see his hand shaking. This was the
moment he’d been dreaming of for a month, so why did it suddenly feel so awkward? Yami held
his breath as he pulled open the door. His heart was beating so fast that he was sure it was going
to jump out of his chest. He swallowed hard as his eyes locked with Yugi’s.

“Hi Yami” Yugi smiled brightly as he stepped into the entry way. Joey and Seto

Kaiba were right behind him.

“Interesting jewelry, Yami.” Seto remarked, noticing the shiny gold nipple and bellybutton rings
on Yami.

Marik rushed to Yami’s side and handed him a small pile of clothes.

“You might want to put these on before you go.” Marik smiled.

Yami nodded his head as he walked away to put on the clothes.

“Yes, good idea, thank you Marik.”

Joey cocked his head and looked at Marik with an awkward expression.

“You guys friends now or something?”

Marik shrugged his shoulders as he escorted Yugi, Joey and Seto into the livingroom.

“So where’s Bakura?” Seto asked, looking around the house.

“Uh.well...he’s um......” Marik rambled nervously. “He’s a little tied up at the moment.”

“I have to duel him for the puzzle before I can take Yami home, is there anyway you can ‘untie’
him?” Yugi ask.

Marik shifted around nervously and scratched his head.

“Uh........I gotta go talk to Yami, Ill be back in a few.”

“Whatever” Joey and Seto said in unison as Marik ran out after Yami.

“Yami, what are we going to do? We have to free Bakura so he can duel Yugi for the
puzzle.” Marik ask the half dressed pharaoh.

Yami pulled a black sleeveless t-shirt on and laughed.

“Switch his deck with all shit cards, than we’ll go get him.”

“Ooh, naughty pharaoh!” Marik chuckled as he ran to retrieve Bakura’s duel deck.

Yami finished dressing and rejoined Yugi in the livingroom. Aside from smiling and saying hi,
they remained quiet until Marik returned.

“Check these loser cards out! Bakura doesn’t stand a chance!” Marik laughed evilly, handing
Yami the deck he had compiled. Yami looked the cards over and burst into gut rolling laughter.

“Marik! You’re so.......EVIL!” He giggled as he handed the Egyptian yami the deck of cards.

“Let’s go get Bakura, this is going to be a blast!” Marik grinned.

Yami and Marik walked upstairs together. They both were grinning like cheshire cats.
They opened the bedroom door and walked in, finding Bakura still thrashing against his
restraints.

“I DEMAND YOU FREE ME!” Bakura hissed evilly, his eyes glowing with anger.

“Chill out you pissy old thief. Yugi is here to duel you for the puzzle.” Marik smirked.

Bakura’s eyes lit up eagerly.

“Oh? The boy is here to duel me? His deck is no match for mine! I hope you’re prepared to
spend eternity being my slave, Atem!”

Yami rolled his eyes and casually unsnapped his jeans. He turned around to leave, and as he did,
he dropped his jeans to his knees.

“Kiss my ass, tomb robber,” He snickered as he left the room. “I’ll see you downstairs.”

Minutes later Marik and Bakura joined Yami, Yugi, Seto, and Joey, who’d set up
everything for the duel.

“You’re going down, boy! Your Yami will be mine!” Bakura snarled to Yugi.

“We’ll just see about that!” Yugi replied sharply as he shuffled his cards.

Seto rolled his eyes.

“Just duel already. I have a business to run and I don’t have time to stand here watching the two
of you jaw jack each other.”

Bakura shoved his cards into his duel disk without looking at them once.

“Fine. Let’s duel!”

The life point counters spun to 4000 on their duel disks.

Yugi went first. He looked at the cards in his hand and grinned.

“I’ll place the Mystical Elf (800/2000) in defense position and lay these two cards.”

Bakura looked at the cards in his hand in shock.

“What the........since when did I have a.....”

“Something the matter?” Yami smirked.

Bakura glared sharply and picked a card.

“No! Nothing is the matter, I’ll just lay this in defense.”

A hologram of a pathetic Basic Insect (500/700) appeared in the game field.

Yami turned his head and tried to cover his laughter. Marik was doing the same.

“That bug ainR gon gonna help you much, Bakura. Even MY weakest monster could smush it no
problem!” Joey laughed.

Bakura scrunched up his nose. He had too much pride to admit his deck had been tampered
with!

“Just shut up.” he hissed as he ended his turn.

Yugi drew another card.

“Cool! I sacrifice my elf to summon my Dark Magician Girl!”(2000/1700)

Bakura glared at the perky blond hologram.

“Whatever” he snarled as Yugi sent her on the attack. Bakura’s wimpy little Basic Insect
shattered into pieces.

Bakura drew a card. His scowled twisted into a slight wicked smile.

I summon this! Aqua Madoor in defense! I also play this magic card, Power of Kaishin! This
magic card gives my monster 300 more attack and defense points, raising his attack and defense
to 1500/2300!”

Yugi tried not to laugh as he drew another card.

“I summon my Silent Swordsman.”(1000/1000)

“I’ll have him sent to the graveyard in my next turn!” Bakura laughed as the little light monster
appeared.

Bakura drew another card. His face grew dark and angry.

“Problem Yami B?” Marik ask, trying to look innocent. Yami had to turn around and laugh.

“Screw off, Pokey McHairspray. I’m in the middle of a duel!” Bakura snapped back as he laid a
card face down.

“I’m laying The 13th Grave (1200/900)in defense and ending my turn.”

Yugi grinned as he looked at the card he had drawn.

“Bakura, I’m not sure what went on here while I was in the hospital, but I can see it probably
wasn’t very good. Consider this move a gift from Yami.”

Yugi’s Silent Swordsman grew to level 1, giving it 1500/1500 attack and defense points. He
flipped over a magic card.

“Bond of Brother’s! For this cost of 1000 life points, I can draw from my deck and special
summon two monsters of the same kind, meaning-”

Bakura’s eyes grew wide. “NO!” he croaked.

Yugi started to giggle.

“Um....yeah.....now, as I was saying, I summon my Dark Magician (2500/2100)and my Chaos
Command Magician.”(2400/1900)

“I’m screwed” Bakura groaned as Yugi’s magicians and Silent Swordsman took out all 4000 of
his life points in one turn.

Marik quickly grabbed the Millennium Puzzle and handed it to Yugi.

“My puzzle!” Yugi smiled, “Thank you Marik”

Marik nodded his head and turned to Bakura.

“Come on thief, let’s leave these kids alone and go upstairs and have some.....heh..fun. Like
whipped cream and handcuffs? It’s time to straighten you out! Ha ha!”

That's more than I needed to hear.” Joey groaned.

Yugi gathered his cards and smiled at Yami.

“Ready to go home?”

Yami took a deep breath and grinned.

“You fucken better believe I am!”

Seto walked briskly over to the door.

“I have work to do, so if you want a ride, I suggest you high-tail it to the limo right now.”

“On our way” Yugi smiled as he reached for YamiR han hand. They followed Joey and Seto out,
hearing a faint scream that sounded like Bakura’s from upstairs as they got into the limo.

(At the Game Shop)

“I can’t believe Bakura did all that to you! That’s terrible!” Yugi exclaimed over a cup of mint
herbal tea.

Yami shrugged his shoulders as he sipped his own tea.

“At least he took his anger out on me and not the rest of the world like he did thousands of years
ago.”

Yugi grabbed a sugar cube out of the dish in the center of the table and put it in his mouth.

“It still doesn’t mean it’s right.”

Yami took another quick sip of his tea and smiled.

“No, it doesn’t, but thanks to Bakura, I learned there’s a whole other side to Marik. He’s not half
as bad as everybody thinks.”

Yugi scooped a couple sugar cubes into his tea and nodded.

Suddenly, Yugi got up.

“Ooh! I almost forgot!” He shouted as he ran down the hall. He returned minutes later with a
sealed envelope. He handed it to Yami.

“I would have sent this to you, but I didn’t know Bakura’s address. You never wrote it on the
envelope and he isn’t listed in the phone book.”

Yami opened the envelope and read the words to himself.

Dear Yami,

I got your letter! It was really nice hearing from you! Everything is going well here, and
I hope to be released in a few weeks. I don’t have a special recipe for pancakes, I just use the
powder stuff that comes out of a box and follow what the directions say on the back. What made
you think of pancakes anyway?

I better get going, it’s time for one of the stuff group therapy sessions.

Love and kisses,

Yugi

P.S. Try turning the bar bell. Joey has a piercing like that, and that’s how his would turn off.

Yami looked up from the letter, his cheeks a little red.

“Joey has a piercing there too?” he ask Yugi curiously as he stuff the letter back into the
envelope.

Yugi nodded his head timidly and blushed.

“Yeah, he got it a long time ago. Only Kaiba and I know about it.”

Yami leaned over and kissed Yugi’s cheek.

“I love you, aibou.”

Yugi smiled brightly.

“I love you too Yami......you know...it’s been a long time since we uh....you know.”

Yami ran his fingers lightly down Yugi’s soft cheek.

“Slept together?” he ask, knowing what Yugi was hinting at.

Yugi nodded his head.

“M’hm”

Yami got up out of his chair and walked around the table. He reached for Yugi’s hand and pulled
his hikari to his feet.

“Let’s go to bed” he purred lustfully as he kissed Yugi’s soft lips.

Yugi moaned lightly in response, following Yami down the hall. Yami scooped Yugi up into his
arms and laid him on their bed.

“Aibou? Would you mind.....um..taking me?”

Yugi’s eyes filled with curiosity.

“But Yami, you always go on top.”

Yami covered Yugi’s mouth with his own and rolled the smaller man on top of himself.

“A lot has changed aibou. Now shut up and fuck me!” he growled playfully as he smacked
Yugi’s tight little butt.

Yugi started to laugh.

“Does this mean you’re making the after-sex pancakes?”

Yami dragged his nailed up Yugi’s back, leaving small red welts.

“Maybe” Yami laughed as Yugi nipped at his jaw.

“I’m so glad you’re finally back with me” Yugi smiled as he pulled off Yami’s shirt. He leaned
over and licked at Yami’s nipple piercing

Yami let out a low moan as Yugi’s tongue set off his senses.

“Oh gods, I know.....yes.......”

Yugi kissed his way down Yami’s stomach and down to the button of his jeans.

“I was worried I wouldn’t be able to win the puzzle back again. I feel bad for shattering it and
throwing it away.” Yugi mused as he opened Yami’s zipper with his teeth.

“It was my fault, aibou. I never should have done what I had done.” Yami panted as Yugi pulled
off his jeans.

“We can’t change the past, Yami. Besides, I think we would have ended up together anyway.”

Yugi smiled as he teased Yami’s shaft with his tongue.

“You’re so good at that, Yugi.” Yami purred.

Yugi licked his finger and pushed it inside Yami’s rear entrance.

Yami whimpered loudly.

“You’re so good at that.” Yugi smirked as he stretched his yami.

Yugi showed Yami how much he loved him for hours on end. Yami laid back and took it all in.
He was more than happy to play the uke for a change. After all he had been through, he realized
he’d lost sight of what was truly important to him: inner peace. He hadn’t felt contentment in his
heart since he was a young child, but now that he was home with Yugi, everything had changed.

After their romp between the sheets, Yugi showed Yami how to make pancakes. While they
were making their food, the phone rang.

“I’ll get it!” Yugi giggled as he wiped some of the pancake batter off his nose.

“Hello?” He spoke into the receiver.

//Is Yami there?// a mans voice ask.

Yugi glanced over at Yami and cocked his head.

“Uh..he’s kinda busy at the moment, can I have him call you back?”

//Actually, I was wondering if you and him would like to go out with us tonight. Bakura said
he’d pay for everything.//

“Who is this?” Yugi ask, still not sure of who he was speaking with. The voice was familiar, he
just wasn’t able to place it.

//It’s Marik//

Yugi almost dropped the phone.

“Marik? Hold on a sec.” he said in shock.

Yugi covered the mouthpiece of the receiver and looked at Yami.

“Uh, Yami? Marik is on the phone......he wants to know if we want to go out with him and
Bakura tonight. Bakura said he’d pay for everything”

Yami looked up from the batter he was mixing and nodded his head.

“Sure, sounds like fun.”

Yugi seemed a bit surprised that Yami accepted Marik’s invitation, but didn’t argue.

“Marik? Yami says okay.”

//Great, we’ll pick you up at 8. Later!//

“Yeah, later” Yugi mused as he hung up the phone.

Yami was flipping the pancakes on the griddle when Yugi rejoined him. The tri-haired hikari
looked a bit bewildered.

“Since when do you get along with Marik?” he ask.

Yami grinned as he flipped some of the cooked pancakes onto a plate.

“Since he saved my ass from Bakura. I know it sounds crazy, but Marik is actually a decent guy.
He’s the one that hid Bakura’s real duel deck and replaced it with all shit cards. He wanted to
make sure there was no way the tomb robber would win the duel and keep the puzzle.”

Yugi bit his lip.

“You mean the duel was fixed?”

Yami nodded his head as he poured more batter onto the griddle.

“A little, but it’s no big deal. Everything is back the way it should be.”

Yugi turned around and sat down at the table.

“I guess” he sighed as he propped his chin up with his hand. He stared out the window blankly.

Yami finished making the pancakes and joined Yugi at the table. He set the plate down between
them and took a seat.

“Is something the matter, aibou?” Yami ask curiously, noticing Yugi’s far off eyes.

Yugi shrugged his shoulders.

“Not really......I just feel bad for cheating to win you back.”

Yami cocked his head.

“You didn’t cheat, you kickekurakura’s ass! Just like you did many times before.”

Yugi let out a soft sigh.

“I know, but still.......he might have won had he had his real deck.”

Yami reached over the table and patted Yugi’s arm.

“Bakura got what he deserved.”

Yugi tried to smile.

“I guess......”

Yami quickly piled his plate full of warm, pancakes. He dumped syrup all over them, along with
some blueberry sauce. Without saying anything further, Yami started gorging himself on the
pancakes. Yugi ate too, but not as fast. He found himself wondering about his relationship with
Yami. During their time apart, it seemed Yami had changed. He never used to swear unless he
was angry, now he did it almost every sentence. He also never used to cheat, now he didn’t seem
phased by it. The thing that surprised Yugi the most was Yami befriending Marik.

Yugi chewed his food slowly. He wasn’t very hungry, but he forced himself to eat. Only time
would tell where his relationship with Yami would go.

The End

************************************************************

A/N: Sorry it’s taken so long to update my fics. I was very sick all of August thinking I had the
flu, when infact my appendix had burst and I was actually dying. I went to the hospital on 9/2
and they cut out my soda can sized blown-up useless appendix and drained over 3 gallons of
poison out of me. I was only hours from death according to the doctors. I’m still recovering, so
my updates will be slow for a few weeks yet. I’m on some really strong pain pills, so if my
writing doesn’t sound like my usual stuff, BLAME THE NARCOTICS!!!! LOL

Also, I’ll go over this for mistakes later. I just popped one of my pills and everything is getting
weird!!!

C-Ya!!!!
