well here’s the next chapter! Why did it take so long, you ask? ‘cause every one wants a piece of me, family friends and those strange door to door salesmen. Don’t worry I had Bakura send them to the shadow realm so I could finish this

I came home as the sun set, sure I was late but I had a feeling no one would really care. I took out my keys and let my self in. The house was quite, almost too quite, no one was making dinner yet and none of the appliances were on.

I felt my heart start to race as I climbed the stares discarding my school bag on the bottom step. I opened the doors to the rooms one by one, ‘was Ryou dead?’, ‘did some thing horrible happen?’. Those thoughts kept racing through my mind.

I opened the last door to find Ryou and Marik sleeping next to each other on the bed… but… but where was-

A hand landed on my shoulder “Hello Malik. How was school, did the teachers give you grief again? Poor you, I’ll go order us some dinner”.

I watched as Bakura walked down the stairs perkily after closing the door to the room where Marik and Ryou lay. I followed Bakura cautiously, I new he was up to some thing, and I wasn’t about to let my guard down.

Bakura stepped in to the kitchen and picked up the phone, “hello? Spirit from the after world? Yeah I’d like to order human pizza, make that extra pig slices, with some vegetables, the green ones, and lots of cheese. Do my bidding go and deliver the pizza through the small delivery boy. Yes this is the house of Ryou, yes he is small, no pale, not albino, yes, that would be him, yes I see you have his address...go then!”

I tried to get up off the floor from laughing so hard after hearing the phone call... and this was what was going to kill me and Ryou? I laughed even harder as Bakura came back with a puzzled look on his face.

“What’s so funny? Did I miss some thing on the box that shows pictures from else where... you’re T.V.?” Bakura asked as he peeked around the corner to see if the T.V. was on. I laughed harder tears streaming down my eyes.

Bakura knelt down next to me, “are you ok? Is some thing wrong?”.

I wiped my eyes and tried to get back to normal, “yeah, it’s nothing, just funny thoughts”.

Bakura nodded and stood up, “we shall await the messenger of food... and if he is late... I’m giving him no tip”. He walked off to the living room and flipped on the T.V. finding some thing interesting to watch in the news about Seto being spotted with a boy on top of him in the park wearing nothing but boxers. I grabbed my school bad and went up stairs to the guest room and shut the door, pulling out the rod that had been given to me.

What was I to do, Bakura seemed harmless, some times and other times it looked like he was plotting some thing sinister. But then again I loved Ryou, there was only once choice, and the only way was to play it safe. I had to banish Bakura to the next life.

I’d do it after I ate the pizza, I wouldn’t want he pizza boy to knock on the door when was about to send Bakura to the next dimension. So I waited for the pizza boy to come all the while plotting how I was going to take him down. Bakura seemed to suspect nothing as he paid the pizza boy and munched his slice happily.

“You know Bakura its kinda weird being human” I said thought fully as I ate my second slice.

Bakura nodded, “yeah…you never know when you’re going to die… in the next year, week, or you might even die today”. Bakura reached for his fifth slice of pizza giving me a smug smile.

I just glared at him, “that’s why I believe we should enjoy every meal; it might be our last before we move on to the next realm. Don’t you agree?”

Bakura took some time to savor this piece while he nodded laughing slightly, “I totally agree, every one of us should enjoy things we might not have, in say, ten minuets from now”.

I wiped my mouth and stood up, “you know what this is about”. He gave me a wry glare, before matching my actions.

“Yes, I do so let’s cut the crap. I know you’ve been having little chats with some friends of yours on the other side. Didn’t Ryou tell you no long distance calls, I guess you’ve forgot. I’ll make sure it never happens again” Bakura said as he advanced towards me, I backed up to the stairs where I had left my school bag, where in lay the rod.

Bakura charged me sending me to the floor my head hitting the first step on the stairs. Bakura cupped my chin gently as he kissed my lips holding my hands above my head. “Your body tastes so nice I can’t wait till it’s my own, tell me, you haven’t damaged the lower regions have you? I plan on making good use of them” Bakura said as he fondled my manhood.

I heard some foot steps and Bakura and I both looked up to see Ryou sleepily coming down the stairs. “Hey what are you two doing? What’s going on?” he asked as he rubbed his eyes wearily.

“Ryou run! Go get help, he’s trying to steal my body!” I yelled. Ryou glared at me angrily, “always excuses and fairy tales, look can’t you just admit you hate me! You don’t have to go messing around with Bakura and lying to my face!”.
I tried to say some thing but Ryou ran off toward the room, moments later Marik dragged him out kicking and screaming.

“Bakura…” he said as he stared at the white haired fiend on top of me. That look made me shiver, I knew that look…it was cold hate.

“I see your up and about already, that’s good to know, would you like to bring my little kitten down so we can start the body switch? My love for us there will be a fuller life, we can be human again, you and I can know what it truly means to love” Bakura said as he grabbed my neck and stood up sufficiently choking me. I clawed at his hand but it made no difference.

“Yes my love… you know I was wrong before, your proposition is very tempting, when I met you, you said you’d take me away with you, on some type of grand adventure. I do believe I’ve had enough adventure for two life times, its time to settle in” Marik said as he brought Ryou down stairs kissing Bakura, the hate still sat in his eyes, but he hid it well behind the smile.

Bakura took Ryou from Marik and dragged us both down into the basement, throwing us in the basement bathroom. The small dark room was barely a closet size and the one swinging light bulb cast a faint glow on me and my lover.

“Ryou, are you ok?” I asked as I tried to check for any injuries on my little lover.

Ryou swatted my hand away, “I’m sorry I should have listened, we might not live to see tomorrow, but trust me I will never betray you again, I will listen to you next time even if it hurts to know the truth… then again.. I doubt there will be a next time”.

I hugged Ryou close to me in the small cramped room, his body shivered slightly in the cold or our underground basement. My fingers brushed away the hairs that had fallen in front of Ryou’s face. “there is away to still live to see the suns light my love” I whispered to Ryou afraid that Bakura or Marik might overhear us in the bathroom. I told Ryou every thing, even the things I had explained before, I told him again knowing this time he’d listen more carefully. There was only one way to get out and when the time came we would settle the score with those damn spirits!!

How cute, and it only took being locked in a bathroom to bring them together. Well maybe in the next chapter I’ll wrap things up, if not.. well.. then in the one after that… I think I’m going to draw this thing out…. Mwahahahahaha! Pls review!
