Ch.10 Shopping
It was now little over a week since Yugi was released from the hospital and right now he was currently visiting me and Yami. "Hey Yami, how's it been" asks a happy Yugi. "Ok, you" replies Yami, as he sat next to the boy. "Alright, oh by the way thank you for treating me at the hospital" replies Yugi politly.
"No problem" answers Yami. "Well, I'm glade to see your hitting it off" I reply to them, once I place my book down. "Yeah... anyways why are you reading that book for" questions Yami, never fully understanding why I liked to read books.
"Because I like reading you should try it sometimes" I rely. "No thanks" replies Yami, just as he suddenly thinks on something. "Hey Linda could you run and do me a favor" asks Yami. "I guess so...but what is it" I ask. Just then he stands from his spot and motions for me to follow him while leaving a curious Yugi behind.
Once were alone Yami speaks up. "Could you go to the jewlers and pick up the ring that just came in" asks Yami. "Sure, but what's it for" I ask. "It's a ring for Yugi for when time comes I figure I ask him to marry me" replies Yami, loud enough so I could hear him and not Yugi.
"Ok, so are you gonna ask him on a date" I ask, while raising a eyebrowl towards him. "You'll see once you return with the ring" explains Yami, as he pushes me towards the door. "Where's Linda? where she going?" asks Yugi. "She went to do something for me" replies Yami, as he sits down next to his littel one once again.
After a few minutes of silence Yami speaks up again. "Yugi....I-I um...was wondering......" stutters Yami, who was nerves all of a sudden. "What is it Yami" asks Yugi, as he tilts his head slightly making him look cute. 'God he looks adorable' thought Yami.
"I was wondering.... if...you would...go...on a date....with me" replies Yami finally. After Yami spoke Yugi only stayed silent before speaking, "I love to Yami" replies Yugi, as he wraps his arms around Yami in a hug, completly surprising Yami who quickly recovers before wrapping his arms around the other, both being completly unaware of a person watching them threw the window.
As they contiue to embrass each other the figure growls before storming off. 'No one touches my toy, nobody.... you will pay Yugi' thought the figure before he walked off. Hours later I finally return from going to get Yami's ring which I had to agree he had good taste for here sitting in a case within my hand was a tiny winged dragon of ra with a little red gem for a eye.
'You choose good Atemu I'll give you that much but please what ever you do please don't hurt him' I thought as I walk into the room only to find them asleep within each others arms. So being as quite as I can I walk into the room only to hear the phone go off so I go to answer it.
"Hello? Linda speaking" I greet into the phone. "Linda? Hey it's Seto I just wanted to tell you that I'm throwing a party and You, Yami and Yugi if he can are invited" replies Yami. "Ok I'll be sure to tell them bye" and with that I set the phone back done once we hang up before I started to turn around to see Yami awake.
"Who was it? and did you get it" asks Yami. "Yes, I got to admit you choose a nice ring to give him and to answer your question that was Seto he was just calling to say he was throwing a party and we were invited along with Yugi if it's ok with his grandpa" I reply while handing him the ring.
'Must be another one of Seto's plan to try and get Noa and Linda together since the last one failed' thought Yami, as he took the ring and place it in his pants pocket.
