Darkened Myth of the Night

Zypher Dragon: Yay, I’m back from the dead!!

Yami: Whoever said you was dead?

Zypher Dragon: Um, well, who cares *sticks her tongue out at him* At least I’m starting on the next chapter to Demon’s Myth of Domino City like I should be, right.

Yami: Ok, you do have a point there.

Zypher Dragon: Great, then it’s settled, I’ll be going then. *starts to leave the room but slips on some soap and glared up at the roof since she landed on her back* Ok, who left that there?

Yami: *whistles as he runs out the room*

Zypher Dragon: *gets up fast and runs after him* COME BACK HERE PHARAOH!!!

Chapter 10

After that little show Pegasus set up a week ago to try and get his wife back, not many people were scared of demons now and for that Yugi was happy because he wanted to try his best at helping Yami and Aqua remember anything before they got taken by Pegasus. But so far, it didn’t do much help but Yugi didn’t give up.

That night, Yugi sat in Yami and Aqua’s room, looking up at the full moon, trying to think of ways how to get Yami and Aqua back to how they were, never noticing Aqua peeking his head into the room or coming in. Aqua mewled softly and Yugi turned his head to him, smiling softly. “Hi Aqua.” He said softly as Aqua walked up to him and nuzzled his side.

He pat his head lightly as he turned away from the window. “I did my best to help you and Yami remember anything but I guess the control Pegasus had you two under might not be breakable,” Yugi’s eyes started to tear up a bit but he wiped the tears away. “But I will do everything to help you two remember, no matter what.” Yugi said as he got up, his hand on Aqua's neck and walked him over to his bed, letting him lay down so he could go to sleep for the night.

Aqua mewled once more and licked Yugi's cheek before laying his head down and fell asleep quietly. He smiled softly and ran a hand over Aqua’s soft spikes before leaving the room quietly and went downstairs to see Seto and Ruby asleep and Yami sitting by the open window. He walked up to him and placed his hand over his back and he turned around and smiled softly when he saw Yugi.

“How do you feel Yami?” Yugi asked. He nodded softly to show that he was ok and jumped down from the ledge and nudged the window close. Yugi smiled once more and rubbed Yami’s back soothingly, hearing him purr. “Come on Yami, let’s get to bed.” Yami nodded once more as he followed Yugi upstairs to their room. Once they were inside, Yugi led Yami over to bed and lied him down so he can get some sleep and was about to leave the bed to go to his own when he felt Yami’s tail wrap around his waist and pulled him over to the bed.

He nodded and climbed into bed with Yami and curled up beside him, rubbing his side lightly as he felt his breathing even out, showing that he fell asleep. “Goodnight Yami.” He said softly as he too fell asleep beside his demon koi.

The next day, Seto and Ruby woke up before anyone else did and guess that they could take a walk outside to clear their minds off a bit. They walked around, glad that not many people are scared of them because of Pegasus little show the week before. Seto stopped when he saw a blond boy in the park with a golden-yellow furred sphinx. He grabbed Ruby’s tail and yanked him back, making him yelp and glare at him.

He turned Ruby’s head to where he was looking and he saw the sphinx there and immediately fell in love with him just like Seto did with the blond boy. He nodded to Ruby and they walked over to them, wanting to greet themselves to the two that caught their attention.

Jou sat on the bench in the park, his eyes closed as he leaned back, still wondering where Yugi could have gone since he nor Kaiser haven’t seen him in a while. Unnoticed to then they never saw Seto or Ruby coming up to then until Kaiser heard a slight mewl from his side and looked over to see Ruby there and jumped up, shocked, waking Jou from his daze.

“Who are you?” Kaiser asked the demon beside him. Ruby looked down and wrote something into the dirt beside him. Kaiser looked to what he wrote and seeing his name, he suspected that to be his name even thought it sounded familiar to him bt he couldn't remember. “Ok Ruby, why are you here?” he asked again and more was written on the ground. ‘Me and Seto wanted to meet you, when we first saw you, we had a feeling we never felt before...’ a heart showed at the end of the sentence and he blushed lightly.

“And that feeling was love right?” Jou asked once he saw what was going on. He too thought that those names sounded familiar to him but he couldn't remember where he heard them from. Seto nodded, walking over to Jou and nuzzled his neck softly. He blushed too and hesitantly rubbed the demon’s back softly, smiling softly when he heard him purr. Ruby wrote something else and Kaiser went to see what he written.

‘Please, come stay with us, we would hate to not see you again like this.’ Kaiser looked over to Jou and he nodded. “Hey, at least we will be away from our father for good now that we can live with them.” Jou said and he nodded. Ruby looked curious and wrote something else. ‘Why are you happy to be away from your father?’ Jou looked down and Seto mewled softly, wondering what could've happened.

“Well, our father does nothing but hurt us because he drinks a lot, ever since our mom left with our sister.” Jou said, closing his eyes as he remembered the pain of his father’s beatings. Seto's eyes flashed a darker blue when he heard that and to himself he planned to take care of his father so he would never have to see or hear of him ever again. He nuzzled under Jou’s chin and he smiled, patting Seto’s back softly.

Ruby moved over to Kaiser and licked his cheek softly and smiled when he saw him blush more and wrapped his tail around him and wrote something else into the ground. ‘Let’s go home now, you will never have to see your father again as long as you’re with us.’ Jou and Kaiser nodded and followed Seto and Ruby back to their new home.

Yugi woke up later in the day and got out of bed quietly so he wouldn’t wake Yami up and went downstairs to see that Seto or Ruby wasn’t there and guess they might have left to take a walk and went into the kitchen to get some of the treats that Diamond would send over half the time and walked back upstairs to their room, two dishes filled with treats and some left over for Seto and Ruby once they got back.

Once he got inside, he closed the door and walked to the bed, laying a dish next to him as he rubbing the back of Yami’s neck softly to wake him up. Yami yawned widely then smiled softly when he saw Yugi and sat up, nuzzling his stomach softly and took a treat from Yugi’s hands. “Good morning to you too Yami.” He said quietly as he continued to feed Yami his treats, doing the same for Aqua once he woke up.

After they ate, Aqua went back to sleep on his bed while Yami lied his head in Yugi’s lap, purring as Yugi rubbed behind his ear softly. “Maybe it might be ok to keep you two as this, you two may act like small children but I like that, it makes you loo look cute.” Yugi said smiling. Yami closed his eyes, which turned back to how they were once Pegasus was killed, nodding softly as he rubbed his head against Yugi’s leftlyftly.

“Yeah, I might keep you like this, without Pegasus around, there’s no way nothing will happen to you or any of the other demons.” Yugi said as he closed his eyes. Yami looked up to him and curled his body around him and let him lay on his side, seeing that he had fallen asleep and licked his cheek once more before he too fell asleep for the day.

But unknown to then and any of the other demons, two souls in the underworld are plotting their demise as time goes by.

Zypher Dragon: *panting hard from chasing Yami around the room* Well, there’s chapter 10 for you readers. Sorry to all of you that have been waiting.

Yami: *bound onto a chair and gagged, wearing a chicken suit* Mmp mp mmmp.

Zypher Dragon: Sorry Yami but you’re going to be like that for a while after the little episode earlier wthe the soap.

Yami: *sighs through the gag*

Zypher Dragon: Ok, R&R and hopefully I will get the next chapter out sooner than this one.
