Teajuana watched the rest of the duels with indifference masking the pain from the cards she felt. They were begging her to stop the duels, almost felt betrayed when the young womana offerred nothing but comfort. The young mage herself longed to help those cards and knew with a heavy heart that they would have to wait for now. She watched as dozens of monsters fell to their masters' orders and screamed for mercy. So, no, Seto Kaiba, this wasn't a game.

When Noah had them stopped, Teajuana stayed onboard the ship, along with Isis, Rashid, and Marik. Malik and Bakura lost a duel against Marik, and Teajuana was in rage! The young boy Bakura inhabited was lost in the Shadow REalm. Fortunate was the boy since Teajuana found the teen and let him take up residence in her special place. He was grateful to say the least. Malik seemed to be nowhere, though Isis confirmed his whereabouts which were Tea. Everything seemed just fine until the young mage met up with Marik.

::Be careful, princess.:: Dark Magician warned.

"It would figure you were too weak to follow the others," the yami taunted.

"If you're so brave, why didn't you follow?" she asked in reply.

"What?!" the other growled.

"If you're so tough, why aru stu still here?"

"I want to beat the pharaoh!"

"Then why don't you go after him?"

"I don't feel like it." Marik crossed his arms and looked out the window.

"You're scared."

The other's eyes filled with shock and anger. "What?!"

"You want to prove that you are the best, and yet you aim to destroy everyone and everything."

"Is it a duel you want?" Marik sneered.

"No. . . . .Retribution."

"Hmph. You are a waste of time."

"I challend you to an ancient duel, Marik." Teajuana's voice began to change, echo slightly as the doubled voice continued. "Corrupt priest, you are summonned to a Shadow Game!"

Marik backed away, confused as to what was happenning, and watched as the Ra tattoo on the woman's face sprang to life, glowing a golden color. The young woman's eyes mixed from blue to red, turning purple in some areas. Marik watched on as a familiar presence surrounded his room. "Who are you?!" he inquired, fear edging in his throat.

"I am Bastet Nefertiti, protector of the cards, and of all of Egypt. I am the one people cry out for to save them. I am the enforcer of truth and justice!" Red magic swelled as the mage's creed cresendoed higher.

"You are a weak imposter! Only one has ever earned that title, and you are not her!" Marik protested. "Nevertheless, I will play your game and force you to relieve your title."

"And you will duel with the gods watching."

The alread dark room turned to familiar mist, and the Shadow Realm formed. Marik looked around; something seemed different this time around.

"Shuffle your deck and draw five cards." He looked across the playing field. . . ::Wait! This looks like one of /her/ fields! It's a grid system on the ground. What have I gotten myself into?:: Marik did as told, drawing five cards after shuffling his deck. Within his hand was the Winged Dragon of Ra. He was sure to win. "Your move, Marik."

"Fine, wench." Marik placed a four star monster on the field in face down defense position.

"I play card destruction." Marik's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe his Winged Dragon of Ra was going to the graveyard. He put his cards in the graveyard and drew four new cards as did she.

"Alright. I play another face down monster in defense mode," the yami announced.

"I lay down one face down monster and play Infinite Cards, ending my turn."

"What?! Is that all you've got?!"

"Are you stalling, Marik? Trying to figure out my game plan?" The other growled, having no idea what this woman was planning. "Draw!"

Marik jumped slightly and drew Monster Reborn. He played it face down on the field, hoping to get one more monster out so he could summon the Winged Dragon of Ra.

The young mage warrior drew a card and placed it face up on the magic and trap section. "I play Dark Hole. All monsters are removed and sent to the graveyard."

"What?!" Marik stepped back and watched as his monsters and hers were destroyed. "What do you think you are doing?!"

"I am playing the Shadow Game, Marik. Where you have gotten used to obliterating your opponents easily, I have come up with a sure-fire strategy to win every duel I will ever face." A woman with blue skin and brown hair in a lime green tunic stood behind the mage. "I am sorry, Mystic Elf, but your sacrifice will not be in vain." The card bowed and remained silent. Marik took another step back, eyes wide with recognizable fear. He knew his brutish wasy were true in her words.

Marik growled and drew a monster card, summonning it to the field. "I play Hinotama in attack mode. Attack!"

Teajuana seemed unphased by the attack and summonned the Nekogal #2. "Nekogal, sin ain attack mode, and I place one card face down on the field. Your turn, Marik."

Marik placed another weak monster on the field as did Teajuana, giving them two monsters each. He noticed that Teajuana had higher level monsters and could summon the Winged Dragon of Ra whenever she pleased. So what was stopping her? He then realized she needed one more monster and Monster Reborn, which he wasn't sure she had.

Drawing, Marik growled at his misfortune and passed his turn. Teajuana drew and placed one last monster on the field. "Marik, you will now see the true power of the God Monsters. First, I play Raigeki, destroying your monsters. Next, I play Swords of Revealing Light, keeping any other monster you play from attacking. Now, I sacrifice my three monsters to my Monster Reborn c Ca Can you guess which monster I'm reviving to the field?"

The blond took two more steps back in sheer horror. "You can't! No. No! He's my monster! He belongs to me!"

"Winged Dragon of Ra, come forth!" The golden god appeared on her side of the field, awake from the chanting the mage said in a trance-like state. The Dragon had three thousand four hundred attack points from the redhead's monsters. "I am far from finished, Marik." The other watched on in paralyzed silence as the young woman gained one thousand attack points from one of her face down magic cards. She transferred all but one life point to the Dragon, giving it a total of seven thoughsand five hundred ninety-nine life points. Marik fell to his knees, wondering how the young warrior could win so easily against him, a tomb keeper no less!

"Please. Don't finish the duel. Please! I beg you!" the yami pleaded.

"You show no mercy to others. Why should I give mercy to you, a corrupt priest?" Her hard, mixed eyes were cold but flashed a hidden warmth briefly. The mage's words surprised Marik in the end. "I'm sorry, Marik. Forgive me." The Winged Dragon attacked as soon as Teajuana's hand raised in the air and finalized Marik's fate.

When he awoke, Marik found no trace that the duel even happened and noticed his Winged Dragon standing on his table. "She. . .she didn't take it. It was hers, and she refused to take it." The yami picked up the card and slipped it into his deck. "Though it's here, I will not use it. Never again."
