I see your shadow so I know they're all wrong*

She just kept running and running. Darkness swarmed around her, blanketed her to nowhere. Sickening emptiness lurked beneath her feet, threatening to swallow her alive.
*Moonlight on the soft brown earth
It leads me to where you lay*
Run… run… run…
She just kept running and running. Running from her persuader. Running from her darkness. Running from her demon. Running from HIM.
*They took you away from me but now I'm taking you home*

She just kept running and running. Even though she felt her feet began to fail her. Even though her body started to get numb. Even though she was exhausted beyond belief, she wouldn’t stop running.

She kept running and running. But even she couldn’t run forever. She would eventually get caught sometimes. She knew it. She knew it, goddammit… But she couldn’t stop. She wouldn’t stop.

Screaming bloody murder, terrified beyond belief, she could feel his hand, his shadowy hand roaming her body. He was everywhere, roaming, touching, groping. His hand held her tight, pinning her to the ground. He began to chuckle and whisper nothingness to her.
