Disclaimer: I don’t own Yu-Gi-Oh. I don’t even like Yu-Gi-Oh but I just love Seto-Chan! I make no money off this so don’t sue!
Plot: I haven’t decided yet. :-p However I don’t think I’ll keep it G-rated for long.
Author’s note: … I’ll think of one eventually.

Slowly sleepy eyes blinked open. Yuck, first day of school already…. Dang he had to get up.
At least their last year should be a quiet school year. There was no Yami no Bakura, Yami no Marik, Maximillion Pegasus, big five, Noah and Seto Kaiba to worry about! Well, all most… There was still Seto Kaiba but seriously how much harm could he do now? With all the things he and his friends had faced Kaiba really shouldn’t be a problem this time around.
Sighing he got up and got dressed. Oh well…. No the bright side at least he would get one more year with all his friends.

“You need someone.” He proclaimed for the thousandth time. It went ignored like all the others. Grumpily Mobuka went back shoveling his breakfast into his mouth. Chew. Chew. Chew. Swallow. “You need someone.”
Seto glared into his coffee. “Ototo, you’re beginning to sound like a broken record.”
Finally an answer! “And I will continue to until you get someone, Nii-san.”
Turning to his brother, very seriously, he said, “I already have someone Mokuba, I have you in my life.” The taller male took another sip of his drink then added rhetorically. “What more do I need?”
A huge part of the younger Kaiba was touched, yet another part of him sweat-dropped. “Nii-san, normal seventeen years old should be thinking about dates and scoring and at least have had their first kiss.”
Internally Seto cringed and his insides changed a degree cooler. Oh, he’s had his first kiss alright. His second, third, fourth and so on, but his little brother didn’t need to know all that. Instead he answered sharply, “And twelve years old shouldn’t be talking about ‘scoring.’ Including when in their older sibling’s case.”
Feeling chastised but knowing he was right Mokuba repeated, “You need someone.”
Once more Seto ignored it.

It was already Friday, lunchtime to be exact. The first week of school was going quiet smoothly, if he did say so himself. So well that it was pretty boring. In fact the highlight of the week was the tiny scuffle Seto and Katsuya had gotten into on their first day back. Though even that was disappointing seeing how it ended at the ringing of the class bell, signifying the end of lunch. A dark chuckle sounded in the back of his mind. ‘’‘What’s so funny Yami?’‘’
Putting on a smirk that he knew his other half could feel, he replied, ‘’‘It is nothing Hikari, I was just chuckling over your thirst for adventure. It has grown quite a lot in our time together.’‘’
‘’‘Yes it has, hasn’t i-’‘’ A hand waved in front of his face, interrupting him.
“Yugs! Earth to Yugs! Or Yami!”
Blinking owlishly large eyes, he turned to his table of friends. Katsuya and Ryo were staring at him. “Yes?”
“Damn Yugs, we been callin’ ya for like two mins straight.” Katsuya announced with more volume than strictly needed or wanted.
“Are you alright, Yugi-Kun? Is Yami-Kun?” Ever polite Ryo asked.
“We’re fine Ryo-Kun, I was just thinking how calming things are going lately.”
A motion caught a brown eye from the corner of his periphery. He checked and internally groaned. “Spoke too soon Yugs, here comes ol’ Money Bags now.”
The whole table went still as he approached. Wonderful. Not that he expected much else. Quickly he took a head count. Bakura, Mutou, Mazaki, Honda, Otogi and the inu were all there. Good. Well sort of…
“What’d ya want Rich Boy?” Katsuya all but barked out.
Coming up to the table Seto ignored the blonde and gave each of them the once over. Not directly answering the mutt and acting like he hadn’t heard him Seto stated, “I have a proposition for all of you, one that would be wise for each of you to take. For the details meet me up on the school’s roof in five minutes.”
The white haired member of the group piped up before his blonde friend could. “Not intending any offence Kaiba-San, but students are not allowed on the roof. Further more, the door to the roof is always locked.” He thought to say more but then Kaiba’s gaze shifted to only him and nothing else would come.
“Yeah, Money Bags, how’d we know ya aint settin’ us up to get in trouble?”
Seto paid the question no mind, and continued to look at Bakura. Until Mutou seemed to find his voice; his deeper voice.
“It was a valid question Kaiba. We’d like you to answer it.” Yami called, not liking the intensity of the blue-eyed stare on his nervous friend.
Breaking off his stare, Seto looked around the room and saw what he needed at the exit to the cafeteria. “No it wasn’t. When have any of you known me to do things on such a small scale. I’ll see you all in five.” Pivoting around the young CEO marched for the door. As he passed the school Janitor, who was busy fixing the hinges, the brunet relieved him of the keys on his belt and kept on walking calmly.
Katsuya gaped, as did the whole group but none so well as he. Oh man, Kaiba did not just do that. But damn! He just did! Who knew Tall, Mean and Handsome had it in him?
Coming out of the stunned silence first, Otogi announced, “Well I’m going. Who’s with me?”
‘’‘You were saying something about being bored, Hikari?’‘’

Five minutes later he and his curious friend pushed the unlocked door to the roof open to find Kaiba facing away from them, cell pressed to his ear. As his words could be heard, the whole group winced, the bossy boss was in the middle of bitting someone’s rear end off over the phone.
“No. I told you I wanted that report done by today. Not by tonight, not by tomorrow and certainly not by Monday.” Silence. “Do you really think that I care you made plans? I expected your report by today. You said it would be done by today and so help you Kami if you even think of leaving the office before you turn it in. Oh and don’t think you’ll be making any over time, this will be coming out of your reserved sick leave.” Silence. “Then get someone to help you, I don’t care, but don’t think I’ll pay them overtime for your screw-up.”
Katsuya scowled. He was sick of the bastard ignoring him! Since their second day of school this year the prick had not given him one iota of acknowledgement! This was worse than all the inu comments, at least then he’d been on the radar! Arh! Stomping up behind the brunet he reached out to yank the cell away and missed as the taller boy moved one step forward.
“That being said I expect a progress report on your situation once I come in. That is all.” He finished then flip shut his phone. Glancing at his watch as he faced the group and for the umpteenth time took no notice of the one closest to him he stated, “You’re half a minute early.”
Resisting the urge to roll his eyes, Yami cut in before anyone else could, “What is your proposal Kaiba?” It was best not to beat around the bush when it came to the young exec.
Mentally the genius sighed. Time to bite the bullet. Casually he started, “I am inviting you all to lunch at The Garden View at one tomorrow. Naturally I will be footing the dinning bill and the cost of a taxi should you need one. Mokuba will be there and he would like it if you all came.”
Hiroto, Anzu, Ryuji and Katsuya all felt their jaws drop. Only good manners ground into them from birth held Yami’s and Ryo’s mouths from hitting the concrete.
Continuing as if this was all routine for him Seto said, “Of course should you choose to attend or not, I expect this invite to stay out of school rumor mill and all types of news media.”
Old violet eyes narrowed with a good deal of suspicion, “Are you serious Kaiba? You want us, all of us, to join you for lunch at one of the most expensive places in all Domino? What is the catch? What will you get out of it?”
A very slow grin formed on the sly face, “I won’t bother pretending I’ll get the pleasure of your company.” Somehow Seto felt thrilled at seeing an equally knowing smirk form on Not-Mutou’s face; however, he did not stop to bask in it. “My benefits are my own. Be assured that they don’t harm you, and let them stand solely as mine.”
“How can we trust you Kaiba? How do we know you won’t do something to us?” Anzu demanded. Something about this was rubbing her wrong and she didn’t want to be around her rich classmate when he smiled like that. Cool sky blue orbs switched to her and she felt pinned by the weight of them.
“If you trust Mokuba to be up set on your behalf should something befall you and if you trust in my drive to keep Mokuba happy, then you will come. It is as simple as that.” He paused for the weight of it so sink in. “Of course if you don’t come Mokuba will at least learn who trusts him and be better equipped to see who deserves his trust.”
Katsuya’s teeth ground together, but he still spit out, “That’s low Money Bags. That’s low.” He then almost growled as it got no response from the teen right next to him.
‘’‘Yami, let’s switch. I have something to say.’‘’ Clearing his throat first, then he spoke, “I don’t think you’d do that Kaiba. That would risk hurting Mokuba’s feelings. I think that was a bluff.”
The grin left Seto’s face, leaving more sedate look. Wonderful, Real-Mutou was back. “And I think that’s a yes for your RSVP.” Glancing at his watch he said, “We should leave, the Janitor will be wanting his keys back by now.”
Ryo blinked and asked for the first time since arriving, “He knew? He let you take his keys?” Something clicked for him. “…And you let us think you stole them.”
A very flat look took over the CEO’s face. “Of course, we could hardly go to lunch if we’re all in Saturday detention. And then there was the small matter of getting you up here. Now we really should leave.” Not waiting any more Seto marched back inside and left the others to scramble after him.
