I do not own YuGiOh! GX, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Prologue
TITLE: Queen's Gambit
AUTHOR: WotanAnubis
DISCLAIMER: I don't own these characters and am not making a profit.
RATING: NC-17
NOTE: This is a very bad idea. I'm just no good at multi-chapter fics. This, then, will (hopefully) not really be a multi-chapter fic, but more a collection of loosely connected short stories in which Alexis runs across and then has sex with various Duel Monsters/Spirits.

Prologue
The castle could not be found on any map or if it could it would not be a map mere humans would be able to comprehend. It existed, if that was the right word, somewhere after the end of the world, just on the other side of infinity. The castle had no right to be there, or anywhere else for that matter. The only reason it existed was because the Queen willed it to exist.
She was the only inhabitant of the impossible structure, the only thing there that breathed and moved and made any kind of sound at all. She looked as though she could not possibly be older than thirty, yet it was obvious she was far older than that. Or perhaps she wasn't that old, because how could anyone age in a place where time had ceased to be?
She was pale and slender, long blonde hair falling onto her back, full of grace and quiet nobility. She always wore a red dress that became black as it went down and then became... something else. A kind of black that would have hurt the eyes if ever there was anyone in a position to see it. And then they would realise it wasn't black at all, but a large tear in reality, allowing the viewer a glimpse into whatever lay beyond.
The Queen endlessly wandered the halls of her castle, each one beautiful, splendid and empty. There was one hall, however, the Queen visited more than any other. Here, mirrors lined the walls, each one allowing the pale beauty to catch a glimpse of places she could only dream of. Places filled with life and people and purpose. She watched those places without envy or sadness, because she had long ago lost such emotions, but searching for something. She did not know what she was searching for or even if it existed, whatever it was. That is, until she found it.
She did not know what was so special about this mirror, or the person it showed. Yet the Queen could not help but be drawn to her. She did not know who the girl dressed in white and blue was or why she could not stop watching her. From studying her image, it had become obvious the girl had no real power or skills that could not be found in dozens of other worlds. On the surface of it the girl wasn't anything special, but she still managed to make something stir in the Queen's chest. Something she no longer had a name for and which she thought had died a long time ago.
The Queen wanted to girl to come to her castle, but that was impossible. The strange and curious world she lived in was so far removed from her own realm the girl would not survive the journey. So the Queen sat in her hall of mirrors and watched her.
One day, as she watched the girl once more, an idea occurred to the Queen. An idea so laughably simple that it was almost tragic she had not thought of it before. It was true, her realm and the girl's world were too far removed from one another, but there were countless worlds lurking inbetween. She could safely transport the girl to one of those and then it would be only a simple matter of waiting until the girl had adapted to her new surroundings so she could easily pull her to another world still closer to her own and do it again and again until the girl could finally step through the gates of her castle.
Of course, it was possible that the girl would react badly to her passage into a different world and might come to harm. Such a thing could not be allowed, so the Queen determined to watch over her wherever she went, to make sure she would be guided towards the proper path. It would not involve a particularly great effort on her part. After all, the Queen had quite a lot of experience watching her.

Alexis walked towards the Obelisk Blue's girl's dorm with some reluctance. It was a very nice day and she wanted to spend as much time as she could basking in sunshine. Unfortunately, there was quite a lot of homework waiting for her. She really didn't feel like doing any of it right, but she didn't have much of a choice. Homework was homework, after all, and she wasn't the kind of girl to let things slide.
Alexis breathed in deeply and steeled her resolve. There was always time for sunbathing later and if she didn't dawdle now there'd be even more time for sunbathing than if she dragged her feet. Having thus decided, she quickened her pace.
And vanished before she had even finished her first step.
