Mates For Life

P.S. I have a lot of this story done. However I would like to know if there is any part that you would like me to lose and what you would like to see added. At any part of the story I may add things too or take things away. I will not always add what you want but I will do things to the story at any time.

Chapter One: Meet Your Yami, Yuugi

Once there was a world that those with magical powers could go to for training. It trained the most powerful for many years, but it always had a belief that if two were to look a like and go to the same school they would fall in love. However, the evils of life would always try to destroy them. For you see it was also said that the love between the two would be more powerful then any other in life. And that time, in a school on that plant, is where our story starts.

It was a hot day in the middle of, in earth time and year, spring. A young man of small height and small body was running to be on time to school and his first period class. His name was Yuugi G. Mot and he had the loveliest eyes that one has ever seen. For you see they were of purple coloring and big in size for any guy. The hair was not like most for it was of changing colors. It would go from black to purple to blond in days. Sometimes it was all three colors at once. This in fact happen more then the one solid coloring. But he also had a lovely body to go with the hair and eyes. His sink was the type that most girls could only wish to have. For it was as white as snow and as clean as a blue lake.

This day just so happen to be a day that he was to come to school before the normal first period. Not because he had that type of class in the morning, but because he was to show around a new classmate. One that had a record as nice as his, in fact this new boy he was to meet did and liked a lot of the same things. The only thing that Yuugi didn’t know about this guy was what he looked liked and what he would be like around him. Yuugi, however, was ever hopeful that this guy, Yami A. Yugioh, was kind and would maybe a new friend.

Yuugi didn’t have many friends but what little friends he did have were all great. They ate lunch in the yard at school all the time. If it was raining or too cold to be outside then they ate in the hall near the TV and game room. The school had so many kids that it had to have rooms for them all and of course that meant having a room for the students to go to when the school day and learning times were over with till the next day. The school was actually so huge that if one tried to walk all around it, students dorms rooms and classroom included, it would take over two hours to do so. And that is why little Yuugi was running for he lived in one of the student dorm rooms and it was one that was closer for Yuugi was a, what is called again on earth, high schooler in the 11th grade.

You see the older you got the closer you got to the high school side of the school was how it worked in this school system. So the younger you were the closer to the first year schools you were. It was only a far walk when you were in the middle of the first year and high school schools. It was really odd in that way because if you had to go in the way of the first year school then it took 25 min. and the same if you had to go in the way of the high school area. Then there was also the fact that you always had a roommate that was in some of the same classes with you as well as being the same age as you.


Odd as this may sound but most of the time half of the students didn’t even sleeps in there own rooms while the other half did. It was very rare to find that the two assigned to be roommates would both be in there assigned room sleeping. That and that most of the time when this did happen that it was always know that it happen because the roommates fell in love with each other and could hardly be a part for school alone. But the story is getting off topic for Yuugi was not thinking about that at the moment but was thinking about what he would say and do around this Yami guy. He was for some reason hoping that Yami liked him although he did not know why he was doing this. He was acting like he was about to see his mate for the first time or something. But that couldn’t be for he never dated and no one ever seemed to make his head turn when they passed him.

No matter how one looked at things at the time, Yuugi was meant to get there just a little late. In the end he wound fined that it made all the better for him in what was to happen.

“ I can’t believe that I’m going to be late. And it is Yami’s first day at this school. Oh, I hope he likes me. Did I do my hair right? Are my teeth all right?” He kept saying this over and over not reziling that all he was doing was making himself look like he was on his way to met his mate or something alone those lines. If only he knew right then what he wound end up knowing in weeks. Maybe he wound have ran faster that day or maybe he would have gotten up on time.

“This is very bad. I’m going to make him think that I’m lazy or always late or something. Well the always being late part is true to a T, but I don’t want him to know about that part of me, yet.” was the next thing to fallow the thought about the fact that on top of showing Yami around the school he would also be “rooming” with Yuugi himself.

‘He well most likely fined somewhere eals to sleep before the day is done. Just like the rest of the school.’ This thought somehow made Yuugi feel down. He knew for a fact that if Yami where to go to another room that he would feel lonely all the time at night. On the other hand, Yami being in his room at night wound start rumors about them both. And poor Yuugi never wanted to do such a thing like that to anyone. Even if they were one of the bullies from the school. Then again Yuugi was well known for his caring of ever thing, heart.

He was known as one of the tree so called Lights of the school. The other two Lights of the school where just two friends of his. All three of them did not like this nickname of theirs.

You see when one was called “A Light” what they where really be called was a being thought to be so kind and caring to others that there could never be any dark in them for anyone. Of course it was well known that even the “lights of the school” had the smallest of darkness in them. However, everyone also knew that it could only ever be seen
When they met there or where around their dark sided mates.

As for Yuugi’s two “Light” friends, well one was just getting to know his dark-sided mate and the other was so shy that everyone was betting on when he would talk to one of the school’s darks as a few people where know. Non-the-less they were all good friends and always had a great time during the many days of school. Even if they all felt like something was missing in each of their lives.

Yuugi kept thinking about his friends as he walked down the Wish Hallway of his school. He was so deep in his thinking that he didn’t even know he had not only stop running but that he was also inside the school and heading down the right hallway. So it came as a big surprise when he found himself at the headmaster’s office door.

That, however, was not the biggey. No what was the big deal to Yuugi was what time he had come to the headmaster’s office door. For the clock said that he was right on time but his head said he was half an hour late. Time that day seem to be odd in it’s own way. But there was no time to think about why he was on time when he had been running late in the first place. For right at that time the headmaster’s office door opened up to let him in.
