Lyrics: You cast a spell over me//I don't know where to turn to anymore//I see your face//Every morning when I wake up//Every night when I go to bed//You're here with me some how//Don't know how//I can feel you here right now//So close//So real//Doo doo-doo doo-doo//Show me your colours//
Show me//Show me your colours//Show me//Don't break this spell I'm in//Please don't break my heart//Show me//Show me your colours, baby
Tell me who you really are//
I know you want what I want//Far away//But still within our reach//Do you dare//Are you brave enough to show me//What your heart really wants to?//(Heart really wants to)//I say your name to my self outloud//Wanna have you all around//Like a cover for the cold on the outside//Making love in the candle lights//Doo doo-doo doo-doo//
Baby//Don't tell me I mean nothing//After all you did//(After all you did)//Baby//Don't you tell me//Tell me I mean nothing//Tell me I mean nothing to you//Please show me now//(Please show me)//
I'm not allowed to adore you//The way you know I really want//But I do
Even though it's been a nightmare//To pretend that it's all over//It's not the easiest thing to avoid//Damage is already done//I'm in love//With//You//
Diclaimer: I don't own Yuugiou. The song, 'Show Me Your Colours' is by S Club 7; I don't own them either. And if I DID own Yuugiou, it'd be way more Yaoi centered. Mwahahaha! But sadly, I don't. ;_;
*~*~*~*
"Oh wow..." Ryou muttered softly, as he opened the package. It had just arrived in his mail, sent to him from his Father, who was away in Egypt, as usual. His job as an archeologist seemed to always keep sending him to Egypt. Ryou held up the four new cards, looking them each over silently. Sphinx Teleia, Andro Sphinx, Theinen the Great sphinx, and the Pyramid Of Light. Ryou wondered for a moment where his Father found these cards; he'd never seen them before.
Picking up the note, he quickly read over his Father's neatly written cursive:
Dear Ryou,
Hello son. I am in Egypt at the moment, and things on our dig are going great! We've uncovered a couple new mummies and are testing to see who exactly they are. I found these cards while in town with a few friends from the dig. I know you're into that whole big Duel Monsters craze, so I thought they'd be perfect for you. The man who sold me them tells me they're one of a kind, the only ones like them ever made. So take good care of them, son. I'll most likely be home in a couple weeks, but I'll phone in later this week. I love you, Ryou. Take care.
Love,
Dad
"Wow, these are so... just... wow," Ryou muttered, at loss for words. He silently wondered if Bakura would know about these cards. Bakura was also in Egypt; having gone back for a couple weeks after having heard from his friend, Marik. Ryou had never met Marik yet; but apparently, he was a good friend of Bakura's, going way back to ancient Egypt. Ryou thought a moment. He didn't really want to bother Bakura, not when he and Marik were having a lot of fun the last time he contacted him.
'Hmm... I'm sure the Pharaoh or even Yuugi would know something about these cards. If anything, I'm sure Yuugi can figure out how they should be used in duels,' Ryou thought to himself, before putting them into his pocket, smiling as he grabbed his coat and headed out for the Game Shop.

"Master Malik."
"Speak."
"Master, there's word of a group of cards which are capable of beating the God Cards."
"What? That's impossible!"
"Apparently, it is not, Master. They are Sphinx Teleia, Andro Sphinx, Theinen the Great sphinx, and the Pyramid Of Light. The Pyramid Of Light is required to summon any or all of the Sphinx cards, and when the Pyramid Of Light card is in play, no God cards are able to be played at all."
Lavender eyes narrowed. "Then send a band of the Hunters to find out who has them, and get them. I cannot have anything getting in the way, and I can't risk there being something stronger than the God Cards."
"Yes, Master."
*~*~*~*
"Wow! Yami, look!" Yuugi gasped, looking at the cards Ryou handed him, "I've never seen these before, have you, Yami?"
Violet eyes narrowed, looking at the cards closely. "No, I haven't," Yami replied finally, "Ryou, where did you get them?"
"My Father sent them to me," Ryou explained, "He said he found them in a town in Egypt."
"Well, they are very powerful," Yuugi said thoughtfull, "And look at this one; when it's in play, any and all God Cards can't be used."
"Even so, I don't think I'm going to be using them in any duels, at least not until I learn a bit more about them," Ryou said softly, taking them back as Yuugi handed them to him, "Speaking of which, are you joining the new Battle City tournament?"
"Of course!" Yuugi smiled, eyes lighting up, "Jou is too. Are you going to join, Ryou?"
Ryou blushed, "No, I don't think so," he said softly, "I'm into Duel Monsters more for fun, not to join serious competitions."
"Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna win!" Jounouchi grinned, coming into the shop with Honda and Anzu following, "Hey Yug'! Ready for the new tournament?"
"Definately! How about you? All set, Jou?"
"You know it!"
Ryou bit his bottom lip quietly, listening as the four of them talked amongst themselves excitedly, Yuugi seemingly having forgotten about his presence, and the other three either not noticing him or not caring. Ryou let himself out quietly, sighing. It wasn't anything new; the four of them were Best Friends, and though the sometimes acted like Ryou's friend, he knew they weren't. The only time they talked to him, really TALKED to him was when they wanted something or needed to know something for a test or the likes.
He walked along quietly, hands in his jacket pockets, staring at the ground as he walked. He was jerked from his thoughts at the sounds of tires squealing, and someone stopping their motorcycle inches from where he was standing. Ryou jumped back, eyes wide. "Oh! Gomen nasai!" Ryou appologized quickly, "My appologies; I wasn't paying attention to where I was going..."
"Hey, it's alright."
Ryou looked up, and was met with warm lavender eyes, platinum blonde hair and naturally tanned skin. "I'm Namu, by the way," the stranger smiled, sticking his hand out.
"R-Ryou," Ryou said softly, snapping from his trance and blushing, shaking Namu's hand softly, "Nice to meet you."
"Pleasure's all mine," Namu smiled, an almost coy smile, "So, do you normally walk across streets without paying attention?"
"Huh? Oh, no, sorry," Ryou blushed again, feeling like a giddy school girl with a crush, "I was just daydreaming."
Namu nodded softly, smiling, "Well, let me give you a ride home then?"
"Oh, no, I couldn't inconvience you..."
"Nonsense!" Namu smiled, his voice cheery, "It's really no trouble. I insist."
"Well... alright," Ryou reluctantly gave in, nervously climbing onto the bike behind him, gripping the seat behind him. "Here," Namu smiled, reaching back and taking Ryou's arms, linking them around his waist, "You'll fall off otherwise. Don't worry, I don't bite," he winked, smiling. Ryou blushed again, holding onto Namu tightly with shaky hands.
*~*~*~*
"Thanks for the lift," Ryou smiled, climbing off Namu's bike. "Would you like to come in for something to drink?"
"I would, but I really need to head home; over protective older sister," Namu laughed, rolling his eyes, "But how about tomorrow? I'll stop over around noon?"
"Sounds good," Ryou smiled, waving as Namu drove off.
// Hikari? //
// Hai, Bakura? // Ryou replied, almost sounding dreamy. Bakura laughed through their link. // Ra, Ryou, what's up with you? //
// I just met the most amazing guy ever... // Ryou sighed, unable to stop smiling, // His name's Namu... he's got platinum blonde hair, amazing lavender eyes and he's tan... //
// Sounds a lot like Marik, // Bakura laughed, // Does he happen to be from Egypt too? //
// I'm not sure, I didn't get to ask. I was daydreaming while walking home and he almost hit me, then offered me a ride home. But he is coming over tomorrow around noon... //
// Awe, my little hikari's growing up so fast, // Bakura snickered, // I just wanted to know why I suddenly felt this... dreamy first-crush feeling through the link so suddenly is all. //
// Well, now you know, // Ryou smiled, // When are you coming home with Marik? I miss you, and I want to meet him. //
// In a couple days now, // Bakura replied, // We're still got a bit of erm, exploring... to do. //
// Oh, well alright. Have fun then, // Ryou smiled.

Malik couldn't seem to keep his thoughts off the snowy haired boy he'd met earlier today. He was just so... perfect. Malik sighed and layed back on his bed, onboard the ship, folding his hands behind his head. He liked Ryou, that much he knew, but he also knew it'd be hard to keep any kind of relationship with his plans for getting the God Cards and running the Rare Hunters and all.
'I'll just have to keep it secret,' he thought to himself, 'I'll tell him whenever the time is right. Or maybe I just won't...'
Malik sighed, rolling onto his side. Why did everything have to suddenly get so confusing?
Because you had to go and get a crush on some boy, and now you'll fall in love and eventually have to come clean and tell him, that little voice inside his head answered.
Malik knew it was risky, but he liked Ryou. He wanted Ryou to be his. Just as he wanted to God Cards to be his. 'Fine then, I'll somehow make it so I can have BOTH.'

There we have it, another story! This one was actually an RP I did with a friend; I thought it'd make an awesome story. The beginning isn't TOO amazingly good, but don't worry, the new few chapters will help piece everything together and it'll make a lot more sense than just this one chapter.
Reviews are always welcomed and loved! =^-^=
Flames will be fed to Marik and Bakura for Dinner. -_-'
