How to raise a Digi-Egg
This story is perfect for former digimon fan turn current Yu-Gi-Oh! fan.
This story won't make any sense unless you saw digimon season 3 wich I think was the best one
considering season 4 was floppy and doesn't compare. And don't be fooled this maybe a crossover
but this is still Y/YY pairing.
This is gonna be sweet! I never tried a crossover before so I'm counting
on you to tell me how I'm doing, Kay, I love ya BYBY!

At the Kame Game shop Yuugi just got home from school and saw new posters up in Jichan's shop.
"What's is Digimon?" Yuugi asked as his Jichan finished tapping a poster to the wall.
"It's some new game, it's kinda strange though, crates full of large colorfuly painted ostrige eggs
were sent here, the deliveryman said it was part of the reality of the game." Said Soguroku.
"Say, you don't think those go to the zoo do you?"
"No, the president of Bandia said these eggs are essential to the game."
"Let me see one of those." Yuugi took one of the white eggs with yellow stripping around it.
"Are you planning on buying on?" Soguroku asked.
"Take it out of my allowence, It wouldn't hurt to try something new." Yuugi took the egg and jogged
up to his room carfully craddling the egg in his arms. When Yuugi got to his room he put the egg on
his bed and wrapped it in a blanket. "This egg is warm, I think it might be an ostridge." Yuugi looked
at the egg. "If it is, i'm gonna have a cool new pet to show off." Yuugi laughed at the thought.
Hours later Yami came home exausted and walked up to Yuugi's room. While Yuugi was working
on his homework, Yami layed in his bed and felt something hard in the blankets.
"What am I laying on?" Yami lifted the blanket and saw the egg. Yuugi rushed over in concern that
Yami might have broken it.
"Careful you almost broke my ostridge egg!" Yuugi said.
"Where did you get an ostridge egg?" Yami asked while Yuugi inspected the egg for cracks.
"Phew it's ok." Yuugi said as Soguroku walked into the room. "What's up gramps?" Yuugi asked.
"Yami, your into all the games Yuugi plays right?"
"Yes."
"Here, take this, maybe you two can figure out this new game." Soguroku passed a yellow egg with
a yin-yang symbol on it to Yami.
"Ok?" Yami looked at the strange oval.
"I don't know what digimon have to do with ostrige eggs but, I'm sure you two will figure it out." Jichan
yawned. "I'm going to take a little nap before dinner." Jichan left the room and closed the door.
"What are these things for?" Yami asked.
"I don't know but I think they are alive, don't they feel kinda warm to you?" Yuugi asked.
"Yes they do." Yami yawned. "I too am gonna take a nap before dinner, be a dear and wake me up
in half an hour." Yami layed on the bed.
"Ok, as long as your gonna nap, keep them warm." Yuugi pushed the eggs into Yami.
"Alright alright." Yami was a bit annoyed with the space they eggs were taking. Yuugi sat back at his
desk and continued with his homework. Almost a half hour later Yuugi heard a crackling sound coming
from the bed. He turned and saw Yami waking up to the eggs wich were hatching.
"Yami look, they're alive." Yuugi said watching the yellow egg break and a small white ghost shape
floated out of it, while the yin-yang symboled egg produced a yellow ball with a fox tail and big blue
eyes.
"What are these things? Are they digimon?" Yami asked.
"They don't look anything like ostriges." Yuugi was puzzled watching the hatchlings looking up at him
and Yami with hungry shimmering eyes.
"I wonder what they eat." Yami said.
"It's dinner time, let's go show Jichan!" Yuugi carfully scooped up the little ghost shaped creature and
happily danced out of his room. Yami looked at the foxtailed ball confused and picked it up in his
cupped hands.
"Davey Croket might be looking for you." Yami said as the little yellow ball creature purred. He followed
Yuugi to the dinning room to show Jichan.
"What on earth are those?" Soguraku asked.
"The eggs we had hatched!" Yuugi smiled.
"Now what do we do with them?" Yami asked starring into the big blue eyes of his little creature who
starred up at him dependently. Yami cracked a smile. "They are kinda cute."
"You have a soft spot for small and cute don't you Yami?" Yuugi smiled at him as the little ghost shape
laughed squeakishly.
"Give it a rest." Yami said.
"I almost forgot these go with the eggs." Jichan gave them a small hand held divice that was almost
heartshaped. Soguraku pointed the device at the ghost shape. on screen it showed a picture of the
creature plus it's name. "Poyomon, and that one is vixenmon....These things tell you wich monster is
who." Jichan gave them the devices. "Keep those with you, maybe you can figure out the other ones,
other kids will have. "Jichan sighed. "I hope this place isn't a mad house tommarow it always is when a
new game comes out." Jichan sat down to eat dinner. Yami and Yuugi sat as well and put the critters
on the table. "I hope they like meat loaf." Jichan served the boys as the digital pets ate the food
from their plates. "Oh my, would you like another peice for yourselves?" Jichan served them. This
time the digimon let their tammers eat.
"They don't eat much." Yuugi said.
"What's happening to them?" Yami asked as Poyomon and Vixenmon glown and got bigger as their
shapes changed.
"HUH!" Yuugi quickly pulled out his device and pointed it at Poyomon. "Not Poyomon anymore, but
Tokomon." Yuugi looked at the fat little bunny eared creature with stump legs.
"And she's Viximon." Yami looked at the pillow shaped fox who had the same stump legs as Tokomon.
"That's cool!" Yuugi said picking up tokomon above his head. Viximon crawled over to Yami and
nuzzled his hand.
"What kind of game could this be?" Yami wondered as Viximon happily looked up at him with her
big beautiful blue eyes. "Why the change?" He asked.
"I think it's cool." Yuugi said. "He's so cute!" Yuugi nuzzled Tokomon to his face. "I'll bet this game
won't be as dangerous as duel monsters, just look at these things."
