eyes across the hall
Domino High school's drama teacher has decided to have her class perform Romeo and Juliette. Auditions have been going great for Romeo, but the girls all wait to see who will play him before they audition for the role of Juliette. Yuugi and Jou were walking down the hall and saw the girls looking at the cast that had been posted on the wall. Jou read it to Yuugi because he couldn't see.
"Hey, I get to play Macutio."
"Who's Romeo?"
"Why, did you audition?"
"No, I just want to know."
"Seto is Tibalt?" Jou was confused. Yuugi was irrated. "Friar Laurence is gonna be played by Otogi."
"Who is Romeo?"
"If you didn't audition for the role why do you care so much?"
"Your looking at the male cast." Yuugi looked down. "Look at the other one." Yuugi said lower. Jou looked at the casting for the female roles.
"YUGE, YOU'RE GONNA PLAY JULIETTE?" Jou shouted making a scene. The girls who also looked at the casting looked at Yuugi in shock.
Yuugi froze he wanted to run until some girl he didn't know said.
"Oh, that's cute, and it's perfect!"
"Why's that?" Jou asked. The girls looked across the hall when a shadowy figure walked by. Yuugi and Jou looked too, just to see who they were looking at. Yami was walking by but looked at Yuugi's eyes from across the hall giving Yuugi a breif smile. Then he disapeared into the crowd.
"Oh, he's so cute." Said another girl.
"Too bad he's gay or I would of been Juliette."
"Why's that?" Yuugi asked.
"He's the one who's playing Romeo." The girls all sighed.
"Good, at least it's someone hot."
"I'll stay awake during the play I'll tell ya that much." Said another random girl. Yuugi blushed as he felt his heart beating a million miles an hour. The girls all left.
"You alright Yuge?" Jou woke him from a daze. "Your breathing kinda fast there kiddo."
"I'm alright, let's just go to class now."
"You are losing it, it's lunch time."
"Oh right." Yuugi felt disorientated.
