Double Trouble
Chapter 1
By Reppa

Now that Battle City had come to a close, things sur sure to settle down. Even though Yugi was sure therre bre bound to be more threats to him and his friends where the Millennium Puzzle was concerned, but Yami was sure that they could relax for a brief time. And they did, the small group of friends, which consisted of Jou, Anzu, Honda, and Yugi and Yami were just loitering about the Card shop.

Malik, who they were still unsure over but Yugi didn’t mind, was Gods only knows where with Ryou’s Yami. Most likely doing Gods know what. Kaiba was obviously off in his own little world before his laptop at home with his kid brother and everything seemed right with the world until someone strolled nonchalantly into the shop.

It was a teenage girl with a full rack that was probably stretching the front of her white shirt, showing quite well despite her baggy blue school uniform jacket. She also wore a dark blue school skirt and fluffy socks to go with her sneakers. With her pack slung over her shoulder, she stood watching them at their table playing cards with her chocolate brown eyes from under her blonde locks.

“Ah, Yugi beat Jou. Well, at least they’re close games.” Tea noted with a chuckle as her blond friend groaned loudly and rest his forehead on the table top. Jou had been as close to beating Yugi now as he had been back at Duelist Kingdom. He jerked his head up to ground something up before a shrill cry nearly split his, and everyone else’s, ears.

“YUGI-CHAN~!!!!”

They all jumped as their unexpected visitor bounced up and slung her arms around Yugi’s neck in a tight hug, causing the young boy to turn many shades of red with his face pressed into her chest. The others gawked before Tea tentatively tapped the girl’s shoulder, catching her attention. The strange girl blinked quizzically at her, still hugging Yugi tightly, “Nani?”

“Ah, could you stop hugging our friend and tell us who you are and why you look like Jounouchi?”
Tea then demanded, frowning at the bl and and leaning back with her fists placed in anger on her hips.

The blonde blinked once more as she gently let the red cheeked boy down and gave him a good look. Then she realized something, “Oi, you’re not Yugi-chan…you’re a boy…”

“Of course I’m a boy!” Yugi exclaimed, a little confused. His face burned and he tried not to let his eyes wander to the girl’s anatomy that was unfortunately at eye level for him. The even more embarrassing fact was that she looked just like Jou, frighteningly so. “Who are you?”

“Oh, I’m Jouno Katsuya!” The girl bubbled as she introduced herself, an infectiously bright grin on her face that Yugi couldn’t help but return the smile. She rubbed the back of her neck, “Sorry, I thought you were my friend. She lives here and all and you look just like her.”

Yami raised a brow as the others looked at each other in even more confusion. The Pharaoh frowned slightly as he eyed the blonde, “No girl by Yugi lives here, there is a boy named Yugi though. We live here and we want to know what you’re getting at. You must be a vbefubefuddled girl.”

Katsuya blinked at him, her brow furrowing, “I think I am a little…ah, whatever you said. This is Yugi-chan’s Grandma’s shop…”

“No, this is Yugi’s Grandpa’s shop. You take blonde to a new level, I’ll give you that.” Honda noted with a snort.

“I do not and you‘re wrong, this is my friend‘s place, you‘re just a bunch of liars!!”

The Pharaoh held up his hands, standing up to face the girl, “Please, calm down. There is no need for hysterics. Please sit.” He eyed her momentarily as he stepped back and gestured for her to do as told and take his chair. Katsuya scratched her cheek as she sat down across from Jou who was staring at her. To him it was like looking into a mirror and the fact that their names were so alike didn’t help.

Now the girl looked a little nervous as she shifted uncomfortably and Yugi frowned at that, he figured he’d feel the same if he had a group of strangers staring oddly at him too. :What du thu think, Yami? Who is she really?:

:Nani?:

:Are you paying attention…?!: Yugi questioned his yami, who he noticed was staring quite strangely at her, :What, do you think she’s cute?:

:I think you‘re the one who thinks she‘s cute, Hikari, not me.: Yami retorted, though that did little to stop the light color flooding the spirit’s cheeks, :And I don’t know what I think. But I’m sure she isn’t lying, maybe-:

“Obaasan, we’re back!” A voice called from the door. Katsuya grinned and sprung up to poke her head around the corner, followed by the small group who were shocked to see another Yami and Yugi, though these two looked more of the womanly persuasion than the other two. The female Yami did a double take for a moment, trying to sort out if she was seeing double the Katsuya and looking into a mirror whereas the female Yugi was a little oblivious.

“Oh, Katsuya’s here! Konnichi wa, Katsuya-chan! Have you seen my Grandmother? The west tst thing happened to us and everything went black before everything looked normal again.” Thort ort girl explained, stepping past them to peer over the countertop in search of her Obaasan. Yugi-chan then looked back at them with a funny expression when she realized there were others present, “Ah, customers?”

“How about friends of the owner’s Grandson?” Honda mumbled, looking between his friends and their female counter parts.

“Excuse me, but perhaps you should get glasses. The owner has a granddaughter, not a grandson.” The female Yami murmured with faint annoyance, “I think leaving would be in your best interest lest you incure my wrath.”

“Way to go, Honda, ya pissed her off already!” Jou snapped at his friend, making sure to stay well and away from the slightly peeved she-spirit. She was drop dead gorgeous, in his opinions, but she seemed the dangerous type. Like Mai, but with a lot more to fear. Just then Honda and Jou looked ready to have a small scuffle as usual, forcing three girls near them to back away while Yugi and his Yami tried to calm them.

“Eh…what’s going on?” Suguroko (sp?) inquired to step in, pausing as he was taken aback to see a set of grandsons, yamis, and two Katsuyas. “Now I’m afraid to ask…have you been up to any Egypt mischief again, Yami?”

“No, Suguroko.” “No, sir…?” The two voiced in unison, both throwing the other strange looks.

The elderly man’s brows furrowed at this, crossing his arms as he looked at them, the three strange girls standing a little separated from the main group. Tea tilted her head, tapping her chin, “This is weird.”

“Agreed. Something may have happened we aren’t aware of. If anything, I think I smell a tomb robbing wench.” The female spirit scowled, setting her hands to her hips, violent eyes narrowed, “From what we remember, Yugi-chan and I saw total darkness before it went away as fast as it came.”

“Same here!” Katsuya piped loudly.

“If we’re here, and Honda-chan and Tat-kun aren’t, as they would have been here, it may be safe to say it may have only affected those who’ve experienced the Shadow Games?”

“Maybe.” Yugi noted with a nod. His yami seemed to agree as the smaller boy continued, “So who else would have ended up here?”

“The tomb raider for sure, maybe her hikari as well. Kaiba and most likely Malik.” The she-spirit replied, crossing her arms, “And so we don’t get each other confused. Katsuya can go by her first name.”

“That’s fine, everyone likes to call me Jou at the least anyway.” The blond pointed out with a nod.

“Yugi-chan can answer to Yugi-chan just fine, I’m sure.” Her hikari nodded in agreement.

“And we can call you Lady Yami.” Yugi chuckled, rewarded with a quizzical look from the she-spirit. But everyone seemed to agree on that, especially her Hikari so she could see there was no way to avoid it.

“Well, I’m Yugi, this is Yami. Tea, Jou, Honda, and my Grandpa Suguroko.” The short boy explained, finishing off the list of introductions. He figured there’d be more along the way, but those would be handled when they got there, “I guess til we find your Bakura, you girls are going to need a place to stay…”

Suguroko frowned, they didn’t really have too much room, and he didn‘t want them to be in uncomfortable conditions, “Erm, we’ll see how we can accommodate you ladies, but I’m afraid we don’t have too much beyond sleeping bags. Perhaps me and the boys could take those and you gals can take the beds.”

Yugi and Yami nodded, though not a one of the girls looked pleased. Lady Yami frowned at him, “If the beds are big enough, we can share.”

“But there’s three guys and three girls…”Jou pointed out, “I don’t think having a girl over with go good with my dad.”

Tea and Honda shrugged, they couldn’t do much as Lady Yami continued, “My hikari and I can share a bed, Yugi can share with his Grandfather, and since I’m sure you’re very much as gentleman as I hope, Yami, Katsuya can bunk with you. Though if I hear of anything, I’ll gut you like a fish.”

Yami’s narrow eyes went wide for a moment, whether it was in fear of the threat or being stucks sharing beds with a member of the opposite sex, none of the others were sure. And it seemed he couldn’t object as the blonde girl stated that was fine with her. Tea, Jou, and Honda said their goodbyes once they began to leave, promising to come back tomorrow so they would look for any of the girls’ other friends.

:Looks like my Yami’s afraid of girls.: Yugi wanted to laugh out loud at that, but he contented himself with a nice mental chuckle at the mind link scowl that answered his tease while he lead them upstairs, :What’s the matter? I was right?:

:No, it will just prove strange. As long as she isn‘t sleeping in her underwear, I think I‘ll be fine…: Was the spirit’s only reply as he fought back more color trying to spread on his face. Yugi seemed to be amused beyond belief at all of this, which was just grand. He just couldn’t believe his luck as he combed a hand down his face. :This may end up being a long night…:

Yami sighed loudly as Katsuya followed him to his room. It was a fairly bland room save a few things here and there. The girl pranced forward and plopped down onto the bed mattress, her skirt flicking up just enough for Yami too see more cotton white panties than he truly needed. A sleeping bag sounded very good at the moment as he blushed fully this time, “Do you need any clothes, you may be just small enough to be my size…” Though a quick glance at her chest told him otherwise.

“Ah, some shorts or a pair of sweats?” She inquired as he nodded and went in search. Katsuya peeled off her jacket and was beginning to pull her shirt off when Yami came back with a pair of sweatpants and went slack jawed.

“W-What are you doing??”

“Oh, ah, I like to sleep without my shirt on, s’more comfortable.” She answered, taking the pants and sliding them on under her skirt. The spirit kept his gaze averted. He couldn’t believe she was going to sleep in her bra like that. A curious gaze back told him it do too much help, Katsuya’s bust size seemed to be a little too much for the undergarment itself.

:Could she be an E cup…? Her back must be killing her half the time…: She seemed pretty small for such a size, it probably did. But she didn’t seem too bothered as she flopped onto the bed.

“Night!”

Yami nodded in return, slowly sliding under the covers next to her as he turned the light off and kept his eyes fixated on the darkness across the room. Just survive the night, he told himself. “Good…good night…”
