Yugi’s POV
Ever since I was a child, I always dreamed of having a true love. When all the other little boys would be playing Star Wars, pretending to beat the living shit out of each other, I would actually be playing wedding with some of the little girls. Yes, I know I’m very feminine...but I can’t help it...I’ve always just had this perfect picture dream of a wonderful spouse that loves me and maybe even a family one day....Like those TV shows when the dad works and the mother stays home and watches the two babies? I want that to be me...and I want a beautiful wife who stays home and looks after my little sons or daughters. I want love...but never could I ever find anyone to love me.
I’ve had many crushes...first on a girl named Miho but she was too popular to like me; then another came named Shizuka Jonouchi...but her brother would never allow it. My crush at the moment is my childhood friend, Anzu Mazaki but...she seems to only see me as a friend and a youngster still. It isn’t my fault...I know nobody will ever like me though. I’m short and scrawny and don’t have any talents. Why would someone like anyone as useless as me?
But then I met him...and my thoughts all changed...
And I began to think...maybe my dream of love wasn’t that far off after all...
And...keep a secret? He is what I want for Christmas this year. I want him as my present; waiting on Christmas morning wrapped in a big red bow. Red, the color of love. And I want him to love me...
