*shakes head sadly* Sorry to say, I think this is as close to a flame as I'm even going to get, which is such a sad thing. In my view, this stroy is entirely unreasonable. While the persona you've created for Seto Kaiba is close to the real thing at times(those times are very rare), he is entirely out of character. He's a corporate CEO, and this is the best you can do for him? Pah! Should this actually be Seto Kaiba in this fanfiction of yours, he'd be fighting back more then a 'paranoid cat'. He knows Jou breached the contract, why didn't he walk out right then and there? He knows he was drugged, raped, and now beaten? Least of all, he'd have stolen a pair of pants and slipped out in the middle of the night! And seriously, since your not making him smart enough to even think of these possibilities, after all that's happened, he should be staying as far away as possible from rabid Jou. Not /just/ eyeing him wearily! Jeez! Plus, just in case you were planning it, I cannot see any sort of romance blossoming in the relationship at all. Where I in Seto's place, I'd hate Jou with every fibre of my being for all of eternity.

I'm sorry. I really enjoyed your story to a degree. but I can't read it anymore.
I am by no means flaming you. I am a strong believer against flaming.
I just can't read this without getting so upset to the point of tears.
But you are a very good writer. Plz continue writing. Talent such as yours shouldn't be wasted.

Very sadistic and evil Jounouchi Katsuya. Damnit, Seto! Why can't Seto just rip Jounouchi into shreds and then throw him out the window like he did with Gozubaro?!

Ugh...this story has really gone downhill. There is no love in this situation, dammit!

Jou hasn't even admitted he loves Seto. It's just the whole 'foxy slave' thing. It's like all Seto is there for is so Jou can have something to stick his penis in.

I'm not saying you're a bad writer, because you're really not. This plot just....reeks, is all.

personnally I think that you should give it a happy ending yeah I really do hate Jou in this story and he is normally my fav charachter!! i will give it 3 stars though I like it but I really want something good to happen to Kaihe mhe may be mean to Jou but he doesn't deserve this)

I don't hate Jou but this is going a bit far...where is the love ? The real fun in all this? sighs the story has lost it's spark...

It was great up until chapter eight. But this fic is really screwed up.

I feel much better now. And I agree with Emme.

One idea is tickling the back of my head. Seto is a Genius, he made a VR system, He's a martial artist (hence knows a thing or two about meditation). I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Seto "went away" in his head to contomplate fractals, infinity sequences, Pi. Not as a show for weakness of character, but as a show of inner strength because he chose to go into himself.

Why is this butting into my head? What makes us human, is what I ask in return. Inwardly, our minds. Outwardly, Making tools, Speach, and walking upright. Jou has in effect dehumanized Seto by taking away his speach, walking, and use of his hands. All is left is his mind, which is no doubt suffering from this treatment.

I honestly nearly shed tears for Seto.

Well more like my eyes tingled a bit, but I rarely feel something like that.

And even egypt had laws reguarding the treatment of slaves.

Oh and they didn't beat slaves that hard. they didn't have the disinfectants and painkillers and stuff we have now; a slave is useless if it can't work.

Jou broke contract, when Yami finds out Jou's going to suffer, because that is what Yami did and does.

And when Seto gets out he's going to buy that building and evict Jou, and make sure that jou can never get another job except as the most menial.

And he curls up happy with Yami.
