Fuck teachers and Fuck social workers
The ones in this story are the worst of the set. I hated the teacher in my school who gave up on me because they bored me to tears. And then social workers. I've had friends have to deal with them... and watching Law and Order: SVU and just seeing the system... Just what are these selfish bastards thinking? Joey's in the home of a very affluent C.E.O. with all his needs met (okay MOST of them) and the fact is he's raising his little brother reasonably well, why do they think Seto can't look after someone just a bit closer to his own age?
Seriously though teachers that look down on and make snap judgements about students from past history need to have their heads examined. I know when I acted out it's cause I was going through major home life crap. I'd found out my dad wasn't my real dad and it broke my world, I wasn't abused but yeah... most of my teachers didn't give a crap. I was lucky in that each year I found 1 teacher that cared about me as a person and tried to help me through.

Away for a couple of days and BAM 2 whole chapters! You really know how to please your audience. Much as I adore Save Me, this one ugh... my feels.... just Joey babe, he's killing me. I even see our fave CEO melting sliiiiiiightly, I mean if that snapped pen is anything to go by. I know I've broken pencils but never a pen. Either he gets some rather fragile pens, or he's got an inhumanly powerful grip.
Love Gabe, he sounds like he'd be a member of my family for sure. Redhead, loves cooking, hobby of magic. It's obvious he's got a real soft spot developing for Joey. I find it nice that almost everyone (Seto himself still pending) is so accepting of Joey. I'm sure if Mokie gets his way he'll have TWO big brothers around because Joey's the opposite of his brother and yet they are still just so... right together. Each of them has their good points... and DARN IT SETO!!! You know you just wanted to cuddle your pup and make it so he had nothing to fear. I'm still really worried about where the blood came from. I know applying cream to one's back is hard, but I'm so scared for Joey that not applying the cream was the reason for the bloody sheets.
BTW it is stupidly sexy when Seto swears, I mean damn it all, he drops an F bomb and I'm just like 'Go on baby'. Maybe just because he's so proper and business like all the time to hear him pipe one off like that shows a very raw and unabashed version of the power he represents. Just like Joey shows a lot of dog like qualities in his loyalty and his fiercely protective nature. Which is the other part of why I think Seto uses dog terms with Joey. I think he's ever so slightly jealous of the loyalty Joey shows Yugi and kinda wants that to himself. AKA 'I want it, I want it NOW. If I can't have it then I'm going to pretend like it's so low in value that it's not worth my time but I want it more than anything.'
