I so cannot wait to read the rest of this I hope that you post it up soon, but can I get the link to the Yahoo Group site so I can read it there too.

Poor Seto. Those boys don't deserve what they were given. I hope the problem is taken care of. Poor Joie almost lost it, I'm glad she got away in time.

First and foremost I would like to say that when I first read the summary lines I wasn't too sure about what to expect from the story. I read the first chapter and fell in love with the story. You set the situation up absolutely perfectly. I was slightly thrown off when I read that Mokuba and Yuugi were together, but I can actually see them together, what with them having almost regular encounters and Yuugi saving Mokuba more than once. I love the way you use original characters, especially Gian, I love her. She's makes a great woman/mother figure for Jou since Jou's mom abandoned him, taking his sister with her. I can't wait to see how things go with Jou as he continues through the contest, and Gian as well now that she knows that her former lover is around. I think my favorite parts were when Jou said he was homosexual to the cross dressing man when he left after the first round, when he speaks to the two orphan girls about how important it is to not let boys make you feel worthy, and of course Jou's reaction to when he found out that Kaiba got hit in the face with a Red Eyes costume tail. I can't wait to read the next chapter of this story and I hope that Jou and Kaiba get their happy ending, and of course Gian as well.

I can definitely appreciate the irony in the end. And I can't wait to see Seto's reaction when he finds out about Mokuba's "friend." Please keep the chapters coming. I am loving this fic.

I loved it before and I still do. Good thing, Joie doesn't know about the help she is getting. I'm glad her 'aunt' came with her.

I am so in love with this fic right now. I want to know how Joie and Gian are going to take care of Marcelle. Can't wait for the next update.
