I'm anxious to know what happens next!
The first scene with Kaiba kneeling, while Joey was typing up the book report, was just filled with so much quiet intensity. Their banter is very good in this story, my favorite thing about this pairing.

i just finished chapter 4 and oh dear god PERFECT.

are so good with making these characters and their reactions real.
I find one of the most difficult characters to write for is Seto Kaiba since he is so cold and doesn't let much in,
it was a smart idea doing this story from Joey's perspective and letting the audience fill in the blanks to Kaiba's thoughts.

Will u update the story? It was a very interesting fic and i wasnt sure if that was the intended ending.

Wheee, update!! It never disappoints!! Seriously, your character development = incredible, and yet you stay so true to the Yugioh characters at the same time. I really hope you write professionally one day; I'd read any book you write, lol. I can't wait for the next chapter!

I get so ridiculously excited for your updates. The tension you make in each chapter is like...Dragon Ball Z style. And this was yet another amazing chapter. You are so gifted with describing characters. Seriously, this:

The finely cut features, the pleasant silhouette, the imposing stature - all but a deceiving trick of light of the barely lit room. But Joey knew better. He had seen the low battery Kaiba, the out of order Kaiba, the one defective prototype that had better remain hidden from the outside world and the so easily shakable faith of its stockholders and brokers and speculators."
