It starts off with the song lyrics explaining what's going on, nice intro. I happen to adore both of those shippings, no wait I'm pretty much into all of them, but those two are just the best. It's sad really because in characterization, I could see Bakura putting down his lover as a control mechanism. Marik would never be affectionate, but I could see their time together being well worth it. Imagine, one mind sharing all their experiences of two bodies through that open mind channel. ^^ They'd never break up for another, it couldn't compare.
