It's good to see you back. I know the feeling 'bout needing time off from a fic. Anyways, just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying your story. Keep it up, it's just starting to get good! lol

I must admit, I was surprised to see that this was your first fic. Your writing is very mature and highly organized. I also appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into making sure that things are realistic. I really appreciate your fic for more than the content, but for the time you dedicate.

However, I also really enjoy the content. I enjoy the slower character developments when it comes to this pairing. I really don't like when authors just have Jou and Seto jump into bed together after chapter two. Please do continue this painfully slow development! I am in avid anticipation for you to continue!

Yay you updated! And you delivered such a good chappie, to boot! I love the psychology bits you included (Seto shifted uncomfortably as he was reminded of how he broke Joey’s nose and started to resent the nurse beside him as well) and I like how the chapter ends - a nice emotional note.

I frikkin love this story and all the realistic details that you draw from your IRL job! I just love it! Please keep updating. I'll bake you, um, brownies. Or strawberries if you're vegan.

Wow. The previous chapters were nice, I love the theme, the buildup and everything, the introspection, all the details on everything medical (which I adore - it grounds the story, gives it substance and adds so much realism).

But this chapter, my dear, has blown my mind. Truly the best so far. You've managed to surprise me (I wasn't expecting Kaiba to give him back his pills). You've capture the psychology of both characters quite well - the behaviours of someone caught in substance abuse, among other things. "But he was in control now. He could do whatever he liked, and he was exercising that ability. " I also love the part about control.

OMGWOW! You have wonderfully depicted the minds of Kaiba and Joey. The motive behind the abuse, the cyclical patterns of domestic violence... Just wow. This chapter is even better than the previous one. I can't wait till the next update! Keep writing, and please post soon!
