So I just finished reading this absolutely amazing story of yours. I was dismayed when I saw the author's note at the beginning of chapter 26 saying that it was abruptly being finished. I decided to check your profile for a status update and found two newly published stories instead. I dearly hope that this means you will come back to Lace and finish it the way only you as the author can. If you decide to leave it as is, I (and I'm sure all of your readers) will be sad, but I will manage to cope. I've only recently come back to YuGiOh fiction after a long absence and was incredibly lucky to come across this story.

Please update and continue on as you originally intended. If you decide not to, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I know it may be an inconvenience but I would rather here from you that you are finished for good rather than keep my hopes up for something that is never going to happen. This is a beautiful story, I really wish you would come back and finish it. Seto and Jou come alive in all of your writings, and I enjoy the way you put things into a different perspective. I wanna know what happens, so please come back and finish it soon, your sister is definitely not as good as you though she tried. Miss ya, and hope to see new stuff soon.

thanks so much for continuing to update this! I used to check almost every week for updates, but then things came up and I forgot. But once I found my list of stories to check for updates again this was the first one I lookedd up. Sorry to hear about Hideki, and I hope she gets better soon! Her writing was an inspiration and a joy to read!

This is the first yugi fic i've read in awhile and i totally fell in love with it! Seto and Jou/Kat were sooooooo cute together! I just had ro stay up all night to read it!

Oh my god! I hope Hideki is ok...mreow.... I like the way you ended and even though you said your not that good of a writer, it was still a good, simple finish. Thank you and Hideki-san is in my prayers.

Thank-you for giving us the idea of how the rest of the story would go. Endings are important and always seem to lead to new beginnings.
I hope for a new beginning for Hideki, I will miss her writing, even though I am mostly a lurker who only reads, many authors on this site, and others gave me the courage to post once. I wish you Hope and Happiness in your new beginning.

Brilliant story... The ending was a little different to what i expected, although i guess that's what happens when it is a different author... Well written, and a good read... As a fan fic writer myself, I can respect the style and respect the work that goes into the story... I'm glad my friend showed me the first chapter... Thank you for keeping me awake a lot later than I should have been just so i could read the new chapters... Thank you Raemeara for finishing the story... It was really well done, and I'm glad you tried to finish it the best you could... Thank you Hideki for even starting this story... I really think this is one of the better fics I have ever read... I don't know what happened to stop you from finishing the story, and i won't ask for details... I understand that you may not wish to discuss it with some random, but what ever the reason, I hope you get back into writing as your work is brilliant... I hope all is well with you and what ever the cause, it doesn't stop you from doing anything you love... My best wishes towards the both of you and you have my respect for starting and finishing this story =)

As nourishing as reviews can be, I certainly hope that your "sister" is receiving the care of an actual physician for whatever troubles her.

Although I myself don't care for this particular story, I did enjoy some of the pieces that Hideki posted long ago on Dragon's Lair (and voted for one of them in the annual poll). Writing can be a deeply fulfilling pastime, and while it's always painful to move on, here's hoping that you will find joy in other things as well.

Even though I haven't reviewed your stories before, I just wanted you to know that I really enjoyed them, especially Lace. It is a 'sweet' story with hidden pathos in it that really touched me.

I will be selfish and say I hope that one day you will finish this story, as it really deserves to have a 'proper' ending that only you can provide. :)
