This is really interesting. I like what you've done with all the characters, the relationships between them. It's very different, in a good way. And it's also really well laid out. I like the flow and the way everything is unfolding, and the way there is a sense of the unknown between a lot of the characters. Really nice work on this. :3

wooohooo! I won a prize! ^_^ *snuggles it protectively* Nuuu it's my prize and I love it! I can't draw so I am majorly jealous of people who can. And I won it fair and square! MINE! (Anything you can do is worlds better than my disfigured stick figures)

Oh well I'm sure 'Yami' will make Yugi feel better in no time. ... this story is making me want to pick up Night's Angel again... but god! I stopped writing it YEARS ago! It's a vampiric variation of Eros and Psyche too... and it's HET! I can't STAND het anymore! I've been completely Slash converted, het is icky! Update the Yaoi before my stupid longing to even LOOK at that story again wins out and I disgust myself with my naivety and ineptitude from my younger days.

This story is turning out so very well! The tale of Cupid and Psyche has always been one of my favorites and this take on it with Yami and Yugi is definitely a classic. I can't wait to see what happens between the two of them and how things with Seth work out. Cause I have a feeling there's more to that than what meets the eye. I look forward to your next update!
As for the riddle: I'm clueless. But just for fun: he should put Seth and Mahaad on his horse and carry Yugi on his back. ^^

SQUEE! for blowjobs in the dark! whoot! No wonder he smelled like chocolate! XD I love this story to pieces! I was wondering how you'd get 'Psyche' onto the mountain to be taken to to the hidden seclusion of Cupid's sanctuary. NICELY done!

Well Seto is in the least amount of danger, Mahaado needs help but isn't dead yet, and Yugi is dead if Atemu leaves him.
So there's 3 things he could do without getting HIGHLY complicated and wearing on the poor horse:
Atemu could take Yugi and go back to the palace to send a help back to them, but that's a very un-Atemu like thing to do saving only one person at a time...
So he could dismount, give his horse to Seth so he can transport Mahaado back to the palace, staying behind with Yugi because he knows Seth will come back for them. (MUCH more Atemu like, self sacrificing and all)
Or if we go TOTAL YGO universe, then Atemu possesses Yugi's body and puts him into his soul room, puts Mahaado on the horse with him, and then Seth either walks or rides back to the palace on the blue eyes he summons.
This is kinda like the riddle about a dog, a cat, and a bird stuck on a roof in a flood and the owner's rowboat can only carry one at a time. So how does he get all three animals to safety so that the dog doesn't kill the cat and the cat doesn't eat the bird? (I really like this one)
And if you can figure this one out, and my other answers aren't the correct ones to the riddle, then the answer to this riddle is my final guess, with Seth as the dog, Yugi as the cat and Mahaado as the bird. Have fun!

Well... a way to the riddle.

3. Sent Seth back on the horse to get help while he stays with Yuugi and Mahaad and tend to his injuries.
4. Summon Slifer and they all ride on the dragons back, including the horse. XD
Either way... Atem must stay with Yuugi reguardless.

things are beginning to get interesting...I hope that 'Yami' makes a reappearance, or better yet Atem tells Yugi who he is, and just impresses on Yugi that their relationship needs to stay a secret. I can't see Yugi having a problem with that, seeing his relationship to Mai I'm sure Yugi would understand Atem's need for secrecy...but it wouldn't hurt if he mentioned that he was the one responsible for the the new dorm arrangement. Update soon.
