I know Bakura's not meant to be kind in any sense of the word here, but I'd like to think that he wouldn't over do it with Yugi, or let Marik whip him. Cuz I think at least in these past few chapters, he's gotten protective, protective enough that Bakura's at least invested in Yugi's mental (maybe even emotional) and physical health, to some degree.

This chapter said so much about Yami. He protected Yugi when he really needed it and has let Grandpa run around free because of his fondness and I'm sure because itnwould upset Yugi if anything happened to him. When will Yamo be back for real?

Oh my gosh, this is amazing, how you're engineering the whole story. This slow dip into the ruler's control spiraling downward already making me crazy to know what is going to happen next. And sometime I find myself questioning all of the characters' motives. And other times I have to scroll back, to reread everything and make sure I'm getting everything.. And wow, this whole mystery and intrigue and the hints of conspiracies makes me want to read more.

Mwahaha. Kaiba is so damn evil. But really? Teaming up with Gramps? I didn't see that one coming at all. I loved Yami's (sort of) appearance. Good to know he's still looking after Yugi.

It is so interesting how Yami managed to protect Yugi. So he is aware of everything that is going on? The unspoken dynamic between Bakura and Yami is also very interesting. I am a bit surprised Yami hasn't protested against Bakura's treatment of Yugi. Jou and Seto are slowly but surely growing closer...let's hope we never find out what happens to their bond if one of them unexpectedly dies
